Was the absolute perfect dress for my mother during my wedding. She is very petite 5'1 so it actually went a lil past her knees and it was perfect. I'm sure I being 5'10", wouldn't be able to bend very far in it but I did my research about it and it was perfect and beautiful and fit our vintage 1930s themed wedding wonderfully.

Really beautiful but should not have listened to other reviews and just ordered my normal size. Does not seem to run large in my opinion. I will exchange for smaller size, but love the dress. Very delicate and unique - wearing it to a wedding in May.

Run, do not walk, away from this dress!! I have been looking for a mother of the bride dress, and I thought this dress would be lovely. I was nervous to order as it said the sizing had been adjusted to American sizes (it had previously been reviewed as fitting small). I ordered up a size and got a 12. When the dress arrived, it was quite pretty, although the outer lace layer was VERY scratchy and stiff. I held it up and knew immediately it was much too small. If I put that thing on I was going to have to call 911 to free me, I'd look like the Incredible Hulk busting out of his seams, and I'll forever need Xanax to help me overcome the claustrophobia from the attempt to put it on!! I let my very petite mom try it on. She normally wears a 6P and couldn't even get this "size 12" dress over her shoulders. If you want to feel really bad about yourself and your size, go ahead and take a chance on it, but I feel my "12" was more like a 2. It is with great disappointment I am returning this dress.

This dress fits well. That is always a challenge when buying on-line. My shoulders are narrow, but my bust is a 32E, this dress works for me. I am 5'3" 110 lbs. It looks way more expensive and is really different than all those sheaths out there. I am planning to wear it to a spring wedding and can't wait. Now I just have to find shoes, 7.5 AAAA!!! I read reviews to help me with fit issues and hope this helps someone else.

This is a lovely dress, however it is not a good fit for a girl with hips. I wear an 8-10 in dresses & am pear shaped. I bought the 10-12 dress size just to be safe. While it fit, it was a bit tight & too short for my tastes. It has 2 pieces, a gray silky slip, & the embroidered top piece. The slip was pretty tight & I considered keeping the dress & finding a new slip, but $60 is too much to pay for a see through top piece. I returned it, but would recommend it to anyone who isn't big in the hip or bust area.

I got this dress in the silvery grey color. Let me start off saying that this is a beautiful dress. It comes in 2 pieces: a shorter spaghetti strap slip dress underneath and a lace dress on top which adds a little length on the bottom from the ruffle. The combo of the 2 is quite beautiful and will work well for my Christmas party for work. I accidentally ordered a size US6, which is way larger than I normally wear. I meant to order a US4 hoping it would fit (I'm normally a 0 or a 2 in US sizes). I am a 5'0" woman who is roughly the size of a 12-yr old and I wear XS in everything (pants, tops, size 5 1/2 shoes, etc., though I am a 36C on top). I'm glad I accidentally ordered the US6 because, while the sheath dress is easy to fit into, the lace overlay is difficult to put on since it has no give. The dress will be a bit snug and I plan on wearing a slimming undergarment to smooth out my tummy area, but it will fit and it does look very nice. My advice: buy bigger than normal but get this dress... you won't be disappointed how it looks!

The dress is well made and the shiny stitching is beautifully done, but the sleeves are a bit scratchy. The slip that comes with the dress is silky smooth, so the rest of it is very comfortable. I'm not sure how the foreign sizes translate, but I ordered a 0 and got a 4. Luckily, it still fits but it is larger on me than the model because I'm petite. I preferred the longer length and looser fit to give me room to move because the outer layer does not flex.

Absolutely loved this gatsby style dress. No sequins so I will get to wear to several occasions. Based on reviews I ordered one size up and it fit nicely. 5'3" 120 lbs. I ordered the 8.
