Beautiful soutache trim, runs narrow and short.

This is a beautiful dress, although from the description of "authentic embroidery" for some reason I imagined this would be a gauzy cotton/ linen but like all of my other beautiful period recreation dresses is made on a stretchy (?) poly/spandex/rayon base. The soutache trim is a soft ivory shot through with metallic gold and the "flowers " are actually clusters of green sequins. I am only 5'3' and 158# (about US6/8) but found this to be uncomfortably short. I have ordered 8" ivory chainette enough for 3 full rows to be added to the hemline. This should bring it to my knee or just below.

Fits like a dream. So dressy and comfortable. I wore with leggings to a show in Vegas. So easy. Loved it so much I bought 6 more for my sis & I in red, black and green..Love Amazom*****
