I love the tattoo shadows. I went crazy and bought 7 after my first one. I buy a lot of make up off amazon so I appreciate a good review of the product because I make most decisions by previous buyers reviews. These can be difficult to blend especially mixing both this liquidy substance of the tattoo with normal powder shadow. It took some playing around to know which to put down first and how much cause the powder does stick denser when combined with this. I finally have it down. To add powder on top you have to let it set/dry a bit and slowly add on and BLEND.WARNING about the colors- the shimmer ones go on evenly and smooth. I have problems with the plain none shimmers like taupe and mahogany because the colors do not go on evenly and its difficult to get and all even color and adding too much of the shadow ends in a mess so I feel as if I wasted some money there, still trying to make them work though. But my favorites like pomegranate punk, bronze, gold, emerald, pearl, and the barely branded go one PERFECT with finger and then I used a brush to get in the creases, inner eyes, and under eye.Hope this helps!!

I had bought MAC Naked Lunch and somehow lost it. I didn't want to buy another one at the price they sell for, so I searched for a dupe online and was led to the Barely Branded shade of this product. All I can say is wow!! I do not remember being this impressed with its MAC counterpart. The color payoff is amazing. It is super easy to apply -- I just use my finger. And talk about LONG LASTING! HOLY WOW!! It was really hard for me to believe that this wouldn't smear or crease but it doesn't at all! I wear contacts and rub my eyes throughout the day yet this product doesn't budge at all!! I read a review that said they swatched the product on the back of their hand and then washed with soap and water and it still didn't come off completely. I tested this myself and it is true! I use this product every single day and will definitely re purchase. So impressed for the price!!

~In my photo above, i have a light amount of the âToo Coolâ Color Tattoo under both of my eyes... I actually use this as a light highlighter and I love it! Use your third finger(or whichever finger works best for you) and create about 3 dots, and then gently blend under your eyes... It might sound odd, but for me, it is a little make-up tip that I found works great!

I love the Maybelline Tattoo Eyeshadows but this color is my favorite so far. It's so versatile because it's just not a flat white shadow, it's creamy, silky, and shimmery. I used to Use Nyx jumbo pencil in Milk until today. This can be worn on entire eyelid, or just in inner corners and a highlight for Eyebrow or you can just cab some in the middle of your lids to add some shimmer to your look. Today I chose to wear it in the inner half of my eyelid and as a brow highlighter. This Shadow is so creamy yet it stays in place and doesn't start to look dry, flaky, or creasy. I will definitely be keeping this color in constant stock

I've never been good about washing my face before bed. I don't get acne and rarely wear a lot of makeup anyway. I'm older and drive my grandbaby to kindergarten. I don't have the time to put on my face and with this, you don't have to. I woke up and looked exactly like I did the day before. I'm really enjoying these sem-permanent products and this is at the top of my list. No more smudges, eye makeup on your pillowcases or ick in your eyes. I wear it lightly with two shades, but I can go Smokey eye with these same colors. And if you are disgusted that I don't remove my eye makeup, I'll say this, ever see eye acne? Nope. Shaves twenty minutes off my morning that I spend making my grandbaby beautiful. Now that is some amazing eye shadow!!!

First of all, I looked forward to receiving this item. It has been ages since I could wear eye shadow, so I was really looking forward to get this, hoping it would be more of a crème. Wrong - the product in all three colors I ordered, was solid and dried out! Of the other colors and the white, I guess the white was the best of all three, but still not really usable straight from the little pot of color!! I had to scoop some out and mix it with something, I chose a dap of moisturizer. But that took away the long lasting color. I will stick with another name brand, which seems to work better. Thank you Amazon!! I have been a usually loving customer!!! Few times have I had trouble!! You are great!!

Bad to the Bronze is a nice metallic, not overly reflective or glittery and thus suitable for a range of ages. Wears long on my normal/combo skin, even without primer. I left it on overnight to test it and the next day, it was hardly worn, with no creasing at all. I felt a little bit of irritation in my eyes but I can't be sure it was solely due to the shadow and it was so mild that it wouldn't stop me from wearing it again. Can easily be a complete eye look when applied on top of a powder transition or even alone, applies and blends easily even with fingers alone. I find the Maybelline Color Tattoo cream shadows to be reliable and of consistent quality that can easily rival high end makeup brands. Just make sure that you always screw the lid on tightly when closing the jar, so that it doesn't dry out prematurely.

Some of the magbelline colour tattoo shades aren't available here in UK drugstores, so Amazon is great for finding these shades! These arrived pretty swiftly and were well packaged with the plastic security seal and everything! This is a beautiful orangey rust colour with a slight shimmer to it, I was expecting to be more rusty colour but it's definitely more orange! It's relatively pigmented, there are better drugstore cream eyeshadows out there but it is still a good product. It applies evenly and is easily buildable. it was a little patchy when applied with a brush, so I recommend using your finger as it warms the product up and makes it creamer. Unfortunately the one that I received was pretty dried out so it applied quite patchy and wasn't as easy to apply. I tried spraying it with fix plus (I do this a lot with dried out cream products) which helped a little.

Subtle sheen to the eyelid for a barely there sparkle. Ideal as a base or for those who want the minimalist look, but just something to highlight the eyes. Worth it.

So i buy this all the time. That means I have like 5 little pots I can't bring myself to throw away because they're mostly full. But after a few weeks after opening for the first time, it dries out and is less useful as an eyeliner.Good points:1. one of the best for oily lids I've ever used and I've tried drugstore and high end brands, gel, liquid you name it. On particularly oily days, I tend to set it with black shadow and if I do, it doesn't go anywhere. If I don't, it will smudge or 'gather' in the creases leaving the rest bare. People with hooded eyes or oily lids know what I mean.2. It's super inexpensive. Though the price has gone up. It used to be like 7 bucks at walmart, 11 at drugstore just last year but it's gone up. That said, still cheaper than most others. The comparable from Mac is like 3x.3. Easy to apply, smooth ... until the drying starts.Bad:1. It dries fast. I wear it everyday and honestly, barely use a quarter before it's too dry to use without it being crumbly. That's what happens. You'll notice, that the brush doesn't leave brush marks as you load and you're pressing hard to load and as you spread on your lid, little tiny dots everywhere. When it gets to that stage, I use it as my 'travel/camp' liner. Yeah yeah, i take make up camping, I'm not 20. Anyhoo.. or I use it for brow because I don't do a heavy brow.2. in really humid temp, i find it doesn't work as well. It's ironic because it doesn't dry out as fast either. But I went to Brazil and i found it impossible to get a brand new one to give me a dark black line no matter how i loaded the brush or passed several times. The same one worked fine when I got home. Granted my skin was also more moist, not oily though. It wasn't hot.Tips from drying that I use. 1. keep it tightly sealed the second you're done using it. 2. keep it face down.Ones i've not tried but read about, revive it with coconut oil.But for quality and value, I do recommend. I just changed my rating from 3-4. But buy it assuming you won't use it all unless you're a drag queen or a make up artist. either way you're getting value because frankly, my 30$ one dries out too. Macs for example is water based so tears make run. Maybe it's not anymore, but I stopped buying it.

I'm a huge fan of these cream shadows. I often use Tough as Taupe with a brush for my crease shade and it blends beautifully. I find it to be a little bit too cool though for me though. It leans more towards grey taupe rather than a brown taupe.Since it is a matte, it can also work well as an eyebrow cream or contour depending on hair or skin tone.Really good staying power.

I love other tones from the color tattoo but this one was a disappointment. I wanted to mention this because I have no problem with other tones - permanent taupe for instance was an amazing find for me.The color comes in patches, uneven, looks cheap, and is very difficult to apply. I tried a special brush, finger, and even Q tips as some other users do but no luck. Will have to give away to a friend or my mom.

My favourite eye shadow base. Nice colour, lasts a long time, not messy like powder, and looks nice even just on its own for a mnimal-makeup look. love the shimmer; makes eyes look bright.

This cream eyeshadow is âokâ the quality is fine and easy to work with but not nearly as intense/pigmented as I had hoped. It reminds me more of an eyeshadow base, if you like a subtle eye glow then this would work for you, I just prefer something more blinding :)

I don't like the "heavy" feel of the eye shadow, and didn't notice much of a color to my eye lids after putting on a couple layers, which was a bit disappointing since I have a fair skin tone that should otherwise show off this color well. The product might be better in other colors, but I haven't tried any other shades.

I used this to highlight the corners of my eyes and cheek bones. Lost one star because it feels kind of dry and you really have to rub your brush on it to get more color. I would but it again though.
