Affordable classic shirt 100% cotton with weird fit in arms

I was looking for affordable classic shirt like this for years. I have several nice shirts which fit me well from fancy brands but I cannot afford buying all the colors I want because they are quite pricey.I loved the material (100% cotton) and the color. But I have pretty serious issue with fit. Something wrong with arms. I donât want to say itâs done wrong, maybe itâs just not for my figure (see pictures). If I were you, I would definitely give this a try. Good luck! I guess I have to keep looking...

The fabric for the shirt is 100% cotton and good quality. I washed my white shirt in hot water and ran it through the dryer at medium. I found shrinkage to be minimal.The shirt is 100% cotton and definitely will have to be ironed. If you donât like to iron, this shirt is not for you. Some have commented that it does not iron easily but I did not find that to be true. You simply need to have your iron on the hot/cotton setting and be sure to use steam. I am 5â1â and on the heavier side with a 41 inch bust. I had to size up to a large-I generally wear a medium- But this gets the job done for me though I will either safety pin or add a snap to prevent gapping when I move. For most however I think you will find it to be adequate around the bust line and generous to the waist and hips.The length works for me, and though the sleeves are too long I generally roll them up so that is not a problem for me. After washing and running through the dryer, the sleeve length as measured from the underarm to the edge of the cuff is approximately 18 inches. The center back, measured from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the shirt is approximately 27 1/2 inches.For the money, this is a great classic piece which I believe I will get a lot of value for the money.

I really like this white shirt and plan to keep it. It's fairly thin so you will need to wear a tank under it. I like that it's fitted and not boxy, and will tuck easily, because I have to wear it tucked in for work. Ugh. Because I have larger arms, some shirts fir great everywhere but the arms. This is one of those shirts. However, it's not so bad that I can't make do, so it's a keeper. But with 100% cotton, I can't dry it or it will shrink and then it's a goner. Hope this helps someone in their decision-making.

1st I'm a teacher so comfort, appropriateness, and price are key.Pros: I'm a 38 DD and you can see that the buttons don't gape open and the button holes are small for security. Material is soft but not light weight, I'd wear it in the fall. It is long so I dont have to worry about it becoming untucked. If I do decide to wear it untucked, I can lift my arms and bend over without exposing any part of my torso.Cons: Does not flatter my waist like I hoped but I can take it in a bit. The sleaves are also a bit long.

I was pleasantly surprised when this shirt came in the mail. Dress shirt shopping has always been a chore - it's either too long or too short, too thin and see-through, or too tight in the shoulders/chest. I'm 5' 2" (so a little on the petite side) and it fits beautifully. Almost like it was tailored for my size (I now know that I'm a true Sz 6 with Amazon's Essentials collection). The fabric washed up very well. It didn't shrink or wrinkle and stayed so, so soft. The buttons were well sewn, there weren't any loose threads or wonky seams. Added bonus: it tucks into pants very well. There's not so much fabric that it bunches up and looks lumpy. Also (and this is probably what made me the happiest) it isn't see through. Should I need more shirts like this in the future, I will for sure turn to Amazon. The price is pretty hard to beat, especially for the shirt's quality (it's fabulous - made from a nice cotton broadcloth). Would wholeheartedly recommend to others.

First, I'm 5' 6", 142 and 36B Originally purchased on medium because Amazon uses a generic chart for everything and I usually wear medium shirts from other companies. The medium was a great fit on the torso and length but the shoulder area was very narrow and the sleeves were quite tight. I like the fabric enough to order 3 in large. That fit is much looser on the torso--no longer giving a fitted look--and longer by more than I would have expected. However, the sleeves are still about the same length and still on the narrow side although they do fit me.Nice fabric although it does need ironing. If you don't like ironing you definitely don't want to get the white one. Took it out of the dryer early and it really shows the wrinkles. It pressed fine. If you're not too fussy about wrinkles, you might get away with not pressing the pinstripes. I don't mind ironing so mine all pressed. Both pinstripes ironed beautifully and easily.

Very nice fitting standard white button down shirt. Iâm 5.3â size S or M and the size S fit great. Material is very soft also. Purchasing in the other colors now.
Too large for petitites

Pros:- Good quality material, no loose threads or buttons hanging off, and was opaque enough to wear by itself- Packaged well- No harsh chemical smells- Color was as depicted, a true opaque whiteCons:- I am 118 lbs and 5'4". My bust is 32C. I ordered an XS. This shirt fit in the shoulders and chest, but ballooned around the waist and hung down to the middle of my butt (too long!). It was an unflattering pillowcase and unwearable.- Fabric felt very stiff and easily wrinkled when wearing, I can't imagine how this would look halfway through a work day.

Das Hemd ist sehr schön, gute Verarbeitung, angenehmer Tragekomfort. Der Aufdruck (Anker) ist ein Hingucker und lassen ein business-look locker wirken.Aufgrund meiner schlanken Statur sitzt es etwas locker, was ich jedoch nicht negativ sehe.

Ich bin wirklich zufrieden! Das Hemd passt in meiner normalen GröÃe 40, ( KörpergröÃe 1,68, 62 kg). Bei manchen Blusen habe ich sogar GröÃe 42, hier nicht. Der Schnitt sitzt gut, bei gröÃere Oberweite nicht immer der Fall, die Länge passt auch. Da ich das Hemd zur Jeans tragen werde, ist das etwas dickere Material gerade richtig. Vor allem ist sie nicht durchsichtig.

Love this shirt, I bought the EU m/l I'm a size 12/14 and after reading the size chart {please read the size chart ladies}I decided to go with the m/l thank god I did it fits perfect.Its made of 100% cotton but still I'm surprised at how thick and warm feeling it is, almost like a soft flannel is the only way I can describe it, think its gonna be rather hot for me to wear on my holidays, which is why I bought it, but that can be a good thing I can wear it here in winter time now and won't freeze !! it looks really good quality and feels lovely on, so would definitely recommend.{unless you want a thin one!! then don't buy this!}

I have been searching for a well made white button down shirt for ages! I was hesitant to order this one thinking it'd be like so many others I have bought for the same price, but man I was pleasantly surprised! Very well structured but not boxy or stiff, not 100% transparent but I don't need to wear anything under it. A nude/white bra works just fine underneath. I got this in Medium and it is definately forgiving and not too tight. I think a large would have been too big! I am a 38 C bust and 5"8 height. Going to buy more colours!

This shirt is cute and I got lots of compliments when I wore it to work, but after that initial wash and wear, then wash, this shirt has devolved in to a wrinkly, faded, pajama-like item that has lost it's shape and just looks sad. I was hopeful that it would hold it's structure better and be less of a high-maintenance shirt to care for, but alas, I have not worn it again since as I don't own an iron..... maybe I will buy one, but I'd rather not. Not sure it's worth it for what I paid.BTW- Not sure if the picture is a mistake or the sleeves are rolled, but this is a long sleeve shirt, not a 3/4 length as it appears in the photo.

I'm pretty petite in the torso area for 5'5 so when I ordered a small, I thought it would be more fitted. It's a little loose but I figured it's probably better to be a bit bigger than have it too fitted as I will be moving around for my job. The arm length is perfect length for my arms so that's awesome. Overall, if you need a button-up shirt ASAP, I recommend getting this one!
