Very, very disappointed with the quality of these glasses. I originally purchased a set six back in 2010 at a department store. I use to love Artland Iris brand because the glass was so thick and durable. In fact, it took me five years to break my first glass. I was eager to replace the broken glass and add some extras. I was thrilled to find them available on Amazon. The experience was disappointing from the onset. I ordered four glasses and received only two. I contacted Amazon and they offered to send me four additional glasses at no charge - which I thought was nice - UNTIL I received only two of the four glasses promised with one that was broken. While I am disappointed with Amazon's customer service - although they did attempt to resolve the matter - I still only received three of the four glass originally ordered. I am more disappointed with the diminished quality of the Artland Iris glasses. They are not as thick as the ones I purchased five years ago. I was willing to pay more for the thickness but instead got a poorer quality glass that could not handle a ride in UPS truck. I recently purchased - per their rave reviews - a set of four Bormioli glasses - made in Italy - and what a quality difference - thick and durable like Artland Iris use to be. Buongiorno, Bormioli! Arrivederci", Arltand Iris!
Problems getting right product

Love these glasses but this is the second time in a row that this company has sent me the wrong product. I ordered four citrine highball glasses and they continue to send me short round blue glasses. Twice now. And there is some serious variability with the product as well. Some of the glasses are heavy, sturdy glass. Some are thinner and lighter. They are gorgeous and hold up relatively well. Just don't put hot water in them as they will crack. But if used for cold beverages work just fine.
Lovely, unique treasures! Look and feel hand crafted.

Each glass is a unique work of art. Far more beautiful than I imagined. Artisan boutique quality. Got four today and after unpacking them I immediately ordered four more. Very carefully packed and mine came FedEx, which always handles items more carefully. However, with this packing I think theyâd withstand a USPS driver tossing it out the window as he zooms by! If you appreciate fine glassware, buy these. Youâll be so happy! I am! (If you want cookie cutter glasses exactly alike, pass these by. This is craftsmanship, not manufacturing.)
Sturdy, Beautiful, Well-Packaged Glasses

I'm in-between homes, but I'd always wanted glasses like these at my next dinner table, so I bought them now in case I'd forget about them later lost in my Amazon Wish List of 500 items! So while I didn't feel like unpacking them just to have to repack them since I'll be moving in a month, I also wanted to make sure none were broken, so I did it even though I didn't feel like it. Happy to report that they are very well-packaged in solidly-built boxes with individual compartments for each glass & each is wrapped in 2 layers of bubble wrap. So they were all in perfect shape. They are also very sturdy, heavy glasses which helps on the breakability front.
PERFECT - Classy but also fun and durable.

I LOVE these glasses. Usually if there are so many good reviews, I don't bother writing another. However, I had to speak my mind so here goes. Shipping was late (grrr) but not the end of the world. Packaged very well, no dings or dents or cracks. These glasses are thick and hefty without being overbearingly heavy. I love the lip which is totally smooth and not so thin you'd break it if it clinked against your teeth or another glass (tested and approved). They are just the right size. ALSO - the sticker says these are 17oz rather than the 16oz stated on the Amazon page. Color is dark plum but when the light shines through they are lighter, and you can really see the bubbles. Going to buy another set very soon. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
Stemless glasses

They are well made other than the bubbles that are in the glass are actually bump up on the inside of the glasses which I would not recommend stirring very much inside as I would be afraid a bubble might break and I would end up drinking glass. But as I use these mainly for water that is not a problem for me and so far have not had any problems and have ordered another set as 4 is just not enough and I very much like the large size which is hard to find. Only good for people with a good size hand or use both hands as they have a nice big bowl size for your grip but I love them so far. Tops have a small opening so probably not that good for a man as the nose would probably hit the other side of the glass but perfect for a woman. Top opening is 2 and 1/2 inches wide. But they hold a lot of liquid. A little over 20 oz. to the top.

The glasses themselves are pretty but when they arrived one glass was completely shattered in the bottom of the box so now I only have three glasses, I didn't figure it was worth trying to send the entire box back for one class so I kept them but very disappointed that I don't have a full set now

Silly me. I thought from the photo that this was a set of 4 glasses but it was only 1 (it does say right at the bottom but I thought it was a bit misleading). More than I would usually spend on just one but it's really beautiful and I'm keeping it!.

Pretty! But, they are more a drink glass of anthing else but wine. Thick rim and heavy in weight.
