Tabletop Favorites product description for this crystal states, " Longchamp is made from pure, 24% Full Lead crystal exclusively by Cristal dArques, Paris, in its own facility in France." What they shipped to me was cheap glasswear, and the printing on the box states, "not lead crystal". Shame on Tabletop Favorites.

So I know it says that they are 5&3/4 ounce glasses, but they seemed too small for the modern day American wine drinker. They are pretty, but I returned them because they just seem so small at the table setting. I don't think my table settings are unusually large, so I deducted a star to alert the review reader of the size... So you don't make the same mistake I did. But if you want a small glass, then Go for it, they are very nice.

Purchased for after dinner port wine. These are substantial in weight for a man to appreciate but are small so an after dinner drink does not get lost in a larger glass. They are made well and are beautiful to look at. I am happy with my purchase.
Two orders might not be identical products

I ordered one set, and liked them a lot. So, I ordered another set, and it came in different packaging and with a brand etched into the glass. They donât match my first order! I already returned one set for this reason, I want another set without the brand etched in. I donât understand how they can be different products off the same listing. These were for a gift too. I might return all of them.

We recently got 4 of the diamax glasses and, looking at them, other than the newness of shiny glass, you can't tell the difference between them and the old lead-glass. There is a slight weight difference. 12 oz (weight, not volume) for the older, 10 oz for the newer. The newer ones don't ring when you flick them with a fingernail, but my mother always got on us about doing that at the table anyhow. Glasses are for drinking, not making music.

Beautiful and affordable. Wish the base was a little heavier / sturdier. Amazon shipped these with bare minimum of cushioning, so one glass arrived partially shattered. Three out of four is fine for me, but buyer beware if you really need four unshattered glasses out of this purchase.
Not Lead Crystal but Dimonex glass, but you can hardly tell the difference.

The description said it was lead crystal, but it turned out to Dimonex glass. I bought it to replace the 4 glasses of 24%Lead Crystal that had gotten dull through cleaning in the dishwasher. It didn't have the cling of crystal, but more of a clunk of glass. I still have two lead crystal glasses that were not put in the dishwasher and are sparkling clean, and it is practically impossible to tell the difference from the ones made from Dimonex glass. At first I was disappointed that the description wasn't accurate, however, after reading an article in LA times that lead crystal can sometimes leach lead, I understand why some manufacturers are now making lead-free crystal. So I'm keeping it, with the peace of mind that it because it doesn't have lead, it won't leach lead, and that is better for my health!

I have several sets of these glasses in various sizes and styles, for entertaining. This size is my personal favourite, I use them every day. The glass is thick, and the size is not too large. I like ice in my drinks, these are perfect. If I make ice tea, I fill the glass with ice and then pour the lukewarm tea over it, and I get the right ration of ice to tea. Also good for some bourbon on the rocks, LOL.

Wir haben von Cristal d`Arques bereits Gläser und wollten diese nachkaufen. In der Produktinformation steht als Material "Kristall"; in Wirklichkeit ist es Pressglas ohne Klang. Aus diesem Grund ging die Lieferung zurück. Es ist Verbrauchertäuschung auf hohem Niveau. Die Gläser haben einen Aufkleber mit Cristal d'Arques. Auf der Rückseite des Aufklebers steht dann als Wasserzeichen "kein Bleikristall".

Bought as replacements for my set of longchamps. They are exactly the same in design and weight as those I purchased 15 years ago. The only difference is they have ECLAT etched in the bottom so I am reminded that these are the replacements every time I finish a beverage.

These are beautiful, but please protect the glasses from the inside. I guess since they are thin and there is a lot of room in the box all arrived broken. Perhaps paper wrap all glasses inside too. I will try and order again,
