This stuff is pretty darn impressive. I've only used it twice now, though- once to test it as a swatch on my hand with Morphe brand eyeshadow used over top (withstood handwashing, and stayed on without smudging overnight, removed almost completely with micellar water) and again to do a trial run of wedding makeup. I took this picture after something like 10 hours of wear (the makeup itself is not the greatest and my eyelids themselves aren't smooth in this picture but the shadow has stayed put without creasing, and luckily this isn't a review of my (lack of) makeup or photography skills... so... don't judge me!)

Picture it.Blue hair on point, slightly twisted to give the false idea that my waves are natural. A dark lip, maybe a deep brown or slate. Eyeshadow, liner and mascara so dark and thick that I can barely even see. A light dust of shimmer on my cheekbones and nose, to give the illusion that I just stepped out of a Sarah J. Maas novel.My Eyebrows - BLACK. Sculpted to PERFECTION with eyeshadow (I said it, don't you dare judge me) to give the perfect arch and look of boredom and anger, all in one.Until rain starts coming down and my face starts falling off, starting with my eyebrows, and scares the living s**t out of anyone in a 5 mile radius of me. Goodbye goth fairy, hello ghost creature of the night that resembles Gollum WAY too closely.Lucky for me. I bought this big GEM of a primer. I just slide a little on each brown before foundation and BAM! I now have to scrub my brows off my face, and it never felt so good!

This stuff is bullet proof! Much like the Elizabeth Mott "Thank Me Later" lid primer, but this is less expensive. I have super oily lids. Always have. And this NYX product is solid.... my eyeshadow lasts all day. Highly recommend!

I got this after seeing a YouTube (of course) makeup tip that using waterproof eyeshadow primer can help reduce the makeup "slide" on people with oily skin. I thought the primer was white, so I was surprised that it was actually a bit more skin toned. That's not really an issue though, because after it dries I cover it with foundation anyway. I like that it gets tacky and holds the foundation. I use it along my T-zone, and what do you know... it works! for someone who lives in the gulf coast region, this is a must trick. I can get an extra 3-4 hours of my makeup before the "slide" takes effect. I would definitely recommend it for that. As for an eyeshadow primer, I actually haven't used it too much for that. The time that I did, I still had eyeshadow on at the end of the night, which for me is a first!

I really, really, really like this product! I'm not a serious makeup wearer, but I do like to wear really bright eye shadow. I have pretty greasy skin, so often my eye shadow has gotten in the creases or faded by lunch. This product is a nice layer to have below the shadow, and it does not feel heavy or sticky.It does slightly burn if you get it in your eyes, but with more careful application, it's not a big deal. I will definitely keep using the product.Here is a quick update: the description of this item says it is colorless. However, it is in fact the color of white, non-Hispanic or light asian skin. If you are a person of color, this will show on your skin.

This stuff is amazing. I'm glad I took a chance on it rather than spending twice as much on the high end products. I applied a very sparkly eye-shadow knowing I would be outside in the heat and probably sweating. My eye-shadow stayed exactly where I put it, for over eight hours. This stuff is awesome - I would highly recommend it!!

I was skeptical about this primer--my usual go-to is either Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Eye Shadow Insurance. While this product isn't as good as those two, it does the job pretty well! The price is pretty great too! My only two complaints are that the applicator is kind of a pain to use to get the product distributed evenly, and it takes forever to dry. But what I do is just kind of smear the product on my eyelids all the way up to the browbone and then I use my fingertip to dab it in. A few minutes later, it's dry enough to begin applying shadow! I do prefer Urban Decay and Too Faced but I will buy this again when I don't feel like spending more money on the other two!

I found this product to be the best Iâve used for priming my eyelids for eye shadow. I have fairly oily skin, and Iâve had bad luck finding products, including setting sprays, that prevent creasing after a couple of hours. I do use this product as a base and finish with a setting spray. I cam home sick early one day, and I crashed on the couch until the next morning. My eyeshadow looked pristine!Very happy If youâre looking for a completely silky-like texture, you may not care for this. It leave a very mild texture that may be better suited to sparkly shadows, which I wear often. This is NOT a photo shoot quality product for beauty shots. This is for us hard-working gals who need great bang for our buck on a day-to-day basis.

I have hooded eyes and find it really difficult to get make up for any kind to stay on my eyes. But I used this stuff for my wedding make up and not only did it make the makeup more pigmented as it held more products in place it also made the make up last for hours and I mean till the next morning kind of hours with no wipe off on the bed sheets either. I highly recommend this even though it is pricier than some eye shower primers. Would not recommend its use with lipstick though, I saw it suggested somewhere it could be used to increase wear time of lippy but I found it just made my lips sticky and dry at the same time.

Fija muy bien el color y se mantiene en el párpado todo el dÃa. No deja sensación pegajosa y no se ven los pliegues del párpado. No tiene mucho color, es casi traslúcido, asà que respeta el color sin modificarlo. Muy recomendable.

Best product out there! NYX is owned by the same company as Urban Decay. I am reasonably convinced this is the same stuff as the UD eye shadow primer, at a fraction of the cost. Itâs very inexpensive and works fabulously. Makes even âlow qualityâ eye shadow look fancy. Eye shadow stays put (sparkles too), no creases, colour looks vibrant and stays. This is in my top five products for sure.

Si hace durar las sombras, pero tiene una consistencia grasosa que deja una sensación "dura" en el parpado y si no se tiene cuidado el primer puede dejar parches al aplicar, la verdad al ser de nyx esperaba algo mejor
