I had been looking for a one-step glittery/shimmery eyes hadow that didn't require glitter glue or anything like that. As a mom I may not have long in the morning before baby comes storming into the bathroom crying, so I need something quick and easy that is going to go on and stay where I put it. In comes this product. In this pack of eye shadow there are 2 colors that actually contain glitter while the others appear to just be very shimmery/iridescent. So far I have used the 2 glitter ones and I can tell you the following:1) There is practically *no* glitter fall out. I had Lasik done a few months ago and I am paranoid about getting things in my eyes now, so I have been cautious about trying this glittery eye shadow. Even after 12 hours there is none that has fallen onto my cheek or anywhere else around the eye. I have not put on a super thick layer, though, but so far I am really impressed that it doesn't shed glitter.2) This stuff goes on cool, smooth and creamy...and will stay EXACTLY where you put it. This is probably why I gave this product 4 stars and not 5: Ladies, it may take some practice to get this exactly right. It starts drying immediately and when it is dry there is absolutely *no* moving it. This has pros and cons. On one hand, you have to work fast and blend immediately because once it dries (approx. 30 seconds for a thin coat) there is no adjusting it or touching it up afterwards. You will need eye make-up remover to get it off and try for a round 2 if you make a mistake or (if you are like me) ended up accidentally doing something different to each eye. On the other hand, this make up will stay where you put it all day, so you will be glittery and glamorous from start to finish.3) Get yourself some actual eye make-up remover to get this off. Soap and water doesn't do much but it comes right off with my make-up remover.4) Whether a thin layer or thick layer, you have to do this in 1 layer. The first time I tried doing a thin layer, letting it dry and then a thicker layer over it but this only seemed to cause the first layer to come up in places while making it thick in other places. Maybe there is a trick to it that I haven't learned but this stuff does have a learning curve. My best solution is to make sure you do exactly what you want quickly and with only 1 layer.

The colors that these come in really do look just like the swatches, and they don't have to be applied terribly thickly in order to do so. However, they do make my eyelids feel sort of stiff, so if that is a thing that would definitely bother you I would either apply them more lightly with another color over them or look for a loose powder instead.

I was a bit skeptical after some mixed reviews, but I am so happy with my purchase! I love all of the colors I received in the mixed 5 pack and can't wait to use all of them! So far I have used 3/5 colors and each have performed better than expected. They're no Stila, but damn they are good for the price.

The copper color was the best color. It went on fine with good coverage. Itâs not one coat and your done. I would not buy again. Iâm going to try Stila brand and see if itâs better.

I bought the 5 pack and all were nice. The monochrome silver was more glittery and less chrome-y. I found out if the thickness bothers you you can use a damp make up brush to apply and it will thin some with water. It lasted perfectly for exactly 12 hours before it flaked off and I turned back into a pumpkin, lol

Not as described. Only brown and green were remotely smooth. More like glitter than shimmer. Not smooth. Flakes off after a couple hours and I mean BIG FLAKES, like the flakes you fed your goldfish as a kid big. This is more like cheap feeling tubes of glitter you let your kids play with when they're getting into your actual good makeup. And only the purple was a true duochrome (purple/gold shift). The others just have different colored chunks of glitter than the watery base color (like gold flecks in green, blueish flecks in pink).Awful attempt at knocking of Stila!!!
