Works very well for crepe-y, wrinkly, hooded eyes. Finally realized small, very small, detail brushes is what works best for the upper & lower lids like mine. Became frustrated with eyeshadow & eyeliner not applying or moving to where I do not want it to - until I gave these a try. My eyelid skin moves too much whilst applying eye makeup. I changed my technique at the same time using these brushes. That made a satisfying difference. Even the angled/diagonal/flat brush provides me with a gentle cat-eye eye liner (with shadow or gel liner) which is nearly impossible w/my eyelids. I waited several months till giving a review on this set of brushes (the black handle ones) to see how they worked out. I like that I can use these in different ways, depending on what I want to achieve. They are holding up well, wash just fine, and despite the different shape/texture of bristles, they are comfortable to use. Have considered gifting this set if in the future I know someone that could use them. So, in combination of changing my technique AND these brushes, less time spent doing eye makeup and more time for the rest of daily life.

Brushes arrived on time. The packaging was wonderful. The brushes were packaged perfectly, every single brush was covered in plastic, and all of the brushes were again put into a another plastic bag, so I knew the brushes were clean. I still washed all the brushes though because they had a hint of a paint smell to them, but nothing too strong. I definetly think these brushes are worth the money, and maybe even comparable to some high end brushes. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a high quality set of brushes at a lower price point.

Ladies you need these... These are just as nice as the expensive ones.. They are soft..there was No Smell...they wash nice and keep their shape..the handles fit very comfortable in the hand.. They blend your eyeshadow so nice. Im 53 yrs old.. I have 4 kids wich are grown..and now 6 grandchildren..i never had money for a nice brush set.. I will tell you this... My eyeshadow looks so nice now.. The brushes kinda do the work for you.. All my reviews are my 100% opinion.. These are priced at a wonderful deal.. You have nothing to loose... I love these. I am cleaning out my old brushes and this was a great addition. I used them for a recent look and they worked great for the price.

use these brushes daily and they have held up quite well. wash, dry, pick up the right amount of product, and apply perfectly. ive spent lots of money on all different brands of brushes and these work just as good as my higher end ones. if need be, don't see that just yet, I will re purchase these before I drop $20 on a name brand single brush.

These were well worth the purchase for the price! Nothing is perfect and for the price, packaging and needing to grab some brushes asap....these are worth it. I have several eye brushes and I'm not totally sad or disappointed with these at all like some reviewers wined about. I mean seriously....for the price for all of these brushes....what do you have to complain about? (Nothing) ââ¤

Great brushes for the price. I agonized over which brush set to get for days. I finally settled on these based on some of the reviews and off site reviews I could find as well. They are super soft, all but one do not flake, they clean well and are easy to use. Overall they are great for the price, especially if you can grab them on a deal. I am no makeup artist, but am fairly versed in it, no they are not artist quality, but they are pretty darn close.
