So I bought this as a gift for a friend's Lingerie party before her wedding so I can't speak to fit or long term quality.However I can say the purple is an absolutely beautiful dark royal purple with a slight shimmer to it. The fabric is soft to the touch and has a little give to it. All of the seams looked to be well sewn and all the snaps, hooks, and adjuster pieces were there and functioning. The one I received had no bad smell, it just smelled like fabric I guess... I have received products from other companies before that had that chemical smell but so far this company has been amazing and I have never received an item from them that had that awful smell (5/5 orders of various products have been amazing).Other than fit these are the things I checked the reviews for when choosing this for her so hopefully it helps you going forward.
Like it.. gonna keep it

I like it. Soft, comfortable. On me, the back piece did not sit well. And it showed off my fatty back.
