This garter purse is AMAZING! I recently used this at a rave/concert (jumped a ton and bumped into a bunch of people constantly) and it held up without re-adjustment. I also wore it to comic-con when I dressed up as Silk Spectre from Watchmen and it didn't get in the way of my costume. I even wore it over my cotton booty-shorts and it didn't slip very much (only a little where the pouch was- will use a safety pin next time). It gave me easy access to my phone and I didn't have to shoulder a purse.I bought a small. I do think it would have felt a bit better if it was a little tighter. It is way too big for anything not my upper thigh (higher than where the garter is in the picture). However, it worked well enough. I am 5'4" and 135 pounds. I might just tighten it next time though via sewing machine to get a more secure fit and to be able to wear it a bit lower (at least to 2 inches above my knee instead of the currently 6.5" above the knee). It fit my Samsung note 3 (in the back pocket), lip gloss (front pocket), Listerine pocket strips (front pocket), and my slim wallet (front pocket).Note: Put a drop of isopropyl alcohol or ethanol on the rubbery parts once in a while. Dead skin cells sometimes stick to it after a while and the best way to get rid of it and make it more "sticky" again is to use a dab of rubbing alcohol on it.

I've been a Stashbandz collector for many years and I use to drive around town to get them but now I'm so happy I can just order them on Amazon! I use mine for Ballroom dancing, Salsa dancing and Parties.I wear mine 1-10 times a month all year round. During the summer when I go Salsa dancing in the blazing heat it doesn't slip at all. I have sizes Small and Large.Small I wear for longer dresses and Large I use for mini styles. I like to customize mine by adding crystals so that each look different just for fun.The garter purse is an item I have been using for many years on a regular basis under many different conditions and I've never had a problem.Even my really old ones that I've had for many years and danced in for many hours are still in good shape. I carry my ID, Credit card, mini spritzer, mini lip gloss, oil blotter, sometimes feminine items and sometimes phone.I am 5'5" flux weight 148 and now 122 and both sizes have been fine for me either weight.I consider my legs to be thick not skinny.I rotate usage with my garter purses matching them to my outfits however I am waiting to see if the company will have other colours I could add to my collection.I don't actually wear the garter purse so that it's showing the skirt part always covers it. The photo on the far right the bottom black is the new and improved design I ordered on Amazon just picked it up today. It's slightly bigger with two pockets. I think it's better .I'm so excited to start customizing my new garter purse!

This is a perfect fit for my insulin pump. Finally I can wear a cute dress again without feeling like an obvious cyborg. Haha! It's comfortable and discrete, yet sexy. :)

I ordered a size "Small (fits like US 2-6)". I am a jean size 26"-27" or size US 5. It kept sliding down my leg (I pulled it up to the thickest part and couldn't get it to stay). A size "X-Small, Pant Size 0" would have been a better fit even though I wear larger than that. However, I always feel like my thighs are baggy in my jeans even though the waist fits great. So maybe I have size 2 thighs and size 5 hips :P.To help everyone out as much as I can, here are my measurements:Height: 5'9"Weight: 140 lbs.6" above the center of my kneecap, my thigh circumference is: 16.5 inchesThigh circumference when measuring as close to the crotch as possible: 21 inches.Hips at the widest circumference: 39 inches.Waist circumference: 28 inches.

I bought a pair of these to hold some small battery packs under an LED skirt I made for an art festival. At $40 for the pair, they were the most expensive part of my outfit, but seemed like they might be worth it based on the other reviews. First of all, these have to be put on bare skin to stay on your leg at all - I first tried them with some shimmery hose I was planning to wear, and they slipped right off, so I had to ditch the hose. After walking about three blocks, both bands had rolled up and were slipping and cutting off circulation to my legs, so I had to find a restroom and take everything apart and re-situate them. I then made it about two more blocks before the same thing happened, and as I was trying to fix them again behind some bushes, they started to rip. I ended up taking them off and just tucking the bands into the waistband of my skirt, because it was impossible to walk with them on my legs. The battery packs each weigh less than the average cell phone, and all I had in each band was a single battery pack. Maybe my thighs are just too fat, but I'm 5'9" and 150 lbs, and I ordered the largest size based on my measurements compared to the size chart. I think these could be improved if the non-slip band covered the entire inside - it's just at the top, and I think that's what causes the bottom to roll up. In hindsight, I wish I'd just sewed pouches into the skirt for the battery packs instead of wasting my money on these - I was worried about putting too much weight on the elastic waistband of the skirt, but it held up just fine with these useless things tucked into it. These seemed like a great idea and I really wanted them to work, but I can't recommend them.

For clubs that don't allow purses, this is great to hold ID and a phone. Stayed up all night dancing!
