This corset is definitely more for looks than a waist trainer. But for the price what do you expect. The only advantage of this corset is, it makes everything look smooth while cinching it in slightly. I purchased it for a sailor costume that I created and it was great for my needs. The bottom outfit is actually a retro bathing suit that I purchased on Amazon. Then I placed the corset over that. I added some red, white and blue stars on it and it was perfect. I am 5'2", 150 lb, waist 33. I purchase an extra large. If you are used to wearing corsets like I am, take your waist measurements and minus it by two inches. Buy your corset according to that number. For example, my waist was 33 inches -2 inches would leave 31 inches. 31 in was an extra large. If you are not used to wearing corsets or waist trainers I would order the size of your waist. This is definitely my opinion.

It was perfect for the events and outfit. I take a gamble with these, but I've realized to get the larger of sizes and I'll be good. I like mine to not have so much room in the back showing when there's the hiding flap of cloth to cover, there was a bit of space. I do think if I would have gone larger, it would have been too big though. I got a large, I'm 5.3 and about 140.

I asked a question about this product recently-about what size to get to get since I'm wearing the corset over a costume. I'm 34-28-34, 5'1" and 115 lbs. I was so nervous about it being too tight, so I ordered a large. I really really wish I had gotten a medium! I have the laces as tight as they will go, with tons of ribbon leftover, and it's still a little loose up at the top infront. But, it will suffice. If I were actually waist training, this would definitely have to be exchanged for a smaller size. I hope this helps anyone interested! Not enough reviewers mention their sizes. As far as quality is concerned, you can't beat this price. The corset is beautiful. My boyfriend has to help me put it on though lol. The latches are a pain in the butt.

Was looking for a corset for a pirate costume and decided to try this. For $16.00 bucks, why not? I didn't have anyone to lace it up, so I used the pre-lace measurement that it came in and it fit okay. Will definitely need a second pair of hands to get it tight. I am 5'9 and a size 18/20 with a long torso. I much prefer a long bone corset, but this will work fine for the costume. Not sure if I would call this a waist trainer though.

It's small but I knew it would be. The measurements are pretty accurate. The price was great for how well made this is. I won't need the modesty panel as I have a quite large gap in the back, and will need to replace the ribbon lacing so that I can lace it properly. I like to have one set of laces from the top to middle and another going from bottom to middle so I can get the shape I want without it being to loose or too tight in some areas. Overall very nice.

I was very happy with this corset. I bought it for a costume, and was very pleased with the quality for the price. I bought a medium (I normally buy a small in shirts) and since I wore it tight, as a corset, I thought it fit great. For reference, Iâm 5â4â 138 pounds, and my measurements are 36, 28, 39. I wear a 32DD bra size. The included thong was ridiculous, and completely unwearable, but since I didnât buy it for that, I wasnât disappointed. If youâre looking forward to it, you might be.

would give 5 stars for quality of material and looks, BUT it seriously fits sooooo small. I read the reviews that it fit small, so i ordered a size up (I'm normally M, got a L), and it fits like an XS!!! i can't even close it without having the strings completely undone, and have someone tie me into it, and even then can barely close!! seriously order 2-3 sizes up, or you will regret it!!

Got this for RenFair. I'm almost 5' 3", 128 lbs and between a petite and average build. The corset size is fine, as it is adjustable, but the decorative panel in the back isnt very wide, so if you adjust out too much, there will be a gap between the panel and the other side of the corset. I just flipped the panel over and out of the way and let the dress show through the laces rather than try to fix or replace the corset. Decent structure to the corset. It seems to be well made and is very pretty. I ordered grey but it has a more violet tone to it, in my opinion. I would order up if you're worried about neatly displaying the back panel. The laces are so easy to adjust in and out and tie yourself.

Oh my gosh, this corset is so gorgeous! I wanted something to wear with my velvet green dress for the Texas Renaissance Festival, but I didn't want to spend a ton of money. The price of this corset does not reflect the quality, which is pretty incredible! Follow the sizing chart and read the reviews to find the right size. I'm a size large so I ordered a XXXL and it fits pretty well. I'm 5'3"and I'm chunky. The flap that's supposed to go behind the laces doesn't meet the other side because of how wide I need to tie it, so I just fold it in to hide it. I wouldn't say it was comfortable, but what corset is? It's a little long for me, but I'm short waisted, so I can't blame the corset for that. I specifically wanted an under-the-bust corset so it would be easy to pull my dress down and nurse my son, which it was.

Great corset especially for the price!Know how to measure yourself, and you will have no problems with the sizing, seriously you're ordering a piece very specific lingerie this isn't a dating site you do not need to lie everyone who says this fits too small clearly has been lying to themselves or does not know how to measure themselves properly and I nearly bought the wrong size following all of that bad advice.the corsets are exactly the size they say they should be and are very well made especially considering the price point also I love the little tiny matching thong

I do like the corset. I ordered the size specified by my measurements and it is very small. Considering I am a size 8 normally I ordered the XXL because that was what fit my measurements and it was 2" too small. Because it laces I can make it work just want others to know.

This corset seems made well enough, especially for the price point. I bought a $10 corset once and this is way nicer than that one lol. The fit is true to size, despite what other reviews say. Measure yourself properly, donât lie to yourself about your size, and youâll be fine. I will say, if youâre looming to actually cinch your waist, perhaps even go one size smaller. As the product states, the sizes are measured with the corsets closed. So you should go maybe 4â smaller than your natural waist size for cinching. All in all, itâs a good starter corset, and will definitely also be worked into any costumes I wear in the future

It is smaller but for true waist training I bet that's what you want. I however, wanted it for aesthetics and costume goodness, so I ordered as suggested, a few sizes up. The size chart is true to my measurements. With all that said, material is really good, I wish the thong wasn't that nice fabric and strings, because the material is almost to good to waste. True to shape and color as displayed, its good.

Everything was as described. I ordered a size up (XL) from my actual waist size which is 27in since people were saying it's on the smaller side. Since I wanted to be able to tighten the corset, the XL turned out to be too big and I had to return it. That was my mistake though so still a 5/5 from me. Would definitely recommend getting your actual size if you want to be able to really tighten the corset.

Fits as expected, arrived earlier than posted. Surprisingly too, it was laced correctly! The token panties are...lol But! If you're looking for a fashion corset, you wont be disappointed.

I ordered a large and I'm a Canadian size 6-8. I have the ribbon at the back about 1 inch apart. Lots of room for adjustment. So I think a medium would have fit as well. I like the fit and it is good quality. Nice and sturdy.

I bought this for Halloween and got so many compliments about it. Price is just right and it and the materials are really good too. Fair warning: Small fit. Buy at least one size larger

Definitely check the size chart and measure your self. I fit in medium tops but ordered an XL. Quality is great for the amount you pay. Also suggest switching out the ribbon for a sturdy lace.

Perfect. I'm so happy with this corset. It looks amazing, fits well and makes my waist look thinner. The material is very good too.
