Muffin top :(

I wanted to love these. They snug in well, but when ever you bend over they roll down, they also sausage your fat up so you still end up with muffin top.

Used this for a Mermaid man and Barnacle boy costume and it worked perfect! Its pretty thick and sturdy too.
They roll down so not much figure control there after that.

OK, when you squish fat, is has to go somewhere. That somewhere is a muffin top, even with the high cut of them underwear. Also, that muffin top will cause these to roll down like nobody's business. So just when you think you've got it all together you're going to need to make an embarrassing wardrobe adjustment. Try Emprella control top underwear. They are cotton, and they don't roll down. Did I mention these SPANX are ridiculously expensive?

I am 120 pounds and got the medium so it would be easy to pull up and down when going to restroom.. It is very difficult. Either this is a small or the spanx run very small and I need a large. I think you have to physically look at the sizes before buying on line.
Usually wear a size Large and these were too big

For reference, I'm 5'3", 175 lbs, US women's size 10-12 in jeans. I usually wear a large in things, so I purchased a large. They fit comfortably like normal underwear would. however, for tummy control (their purpose), they are about 1 size too big. Returning for a Medium. Soft fabric, full coverage on your behind. After trying them on, I could see how these could roll down while wearing them (a problem many other reviews stated). They need some sort of grip on the top waist band. Or maybe just wear them with tight-fitting pants and they'll stay up?

SPANX are the best brand! I love the shaping feature of this one, but I do wish that it stayed in place on the rear a little better. It tends to ride up, especially as I am walking around the office frequently. However, I do not have noticeable panty lines when this occurs.

I have tried a variety of shapewear but have found Spanx by far the best. So pleased they have produced a brief which isnt highwaisted. In the past I have bought M&S shaping briefs which which are OK but even with correct washing did not last.This is perfect under a fitted skirt or dress. No seams, no vpl, it provides perfect yet comfortable support and washed correctly, keeps its shape. Very pleased.Further purchases will be made

Fit was exactly as expected, I wear between an XL and 1X normally and I bought the 1X and it fit perfectly. I didn't have any issues with squishing out the top, I think the ones who had that issue might have bought a size too small. I find these don't work as a girdle squeezing you (and they shouldn't), they just gently suck you in and smooth you out :) good quality will definitely buy again!

These are great at "shaping" - they flatten out the noticeable bump of my lower belly while wearing high-waist jeans. They smooth the transition from above to below my belly button line in fitted dresses, too, which is exactly what I wanted for wearing dresses and jeans. I tried some other brands like Vanity Fair but didn't get near the amount of smoothing compression and snug hugging that I wanted around my stomach. I will be buying more of these if this first pair holds up well!

I was hoping these pants would be tight enough to be bum shapers to wear under yoga pants but although they fit ok, the fit is too similar to normal pants - very expensive pair at that! I think the issue is just that they arenât tight enough in xs to do their job. For reference, Iâm a size 6 UK/2 US so if you are a similar size, probably best to save your money.
