Too big- not true to size

I bought this bra because it was wide around, like me, but had small AA cups, which I need. Problem is the cups were more like a size B cup. I guess bra makers will never make bras for those of us who might be 38 to 40 inches or more around, but have the cup size of a pre-teen. We need our own bra company.

I had a double mastectomy 8 years ago and I have worn Amoena bras almost exclusively. This is the same size I wear in my other Amoena bras (38 A) but it is huge! For reference, my breast forms are a size 5. The quality of the fabric and the construction are good, so I am giving this one star. Otherwise, I am extremely disappointed. I think part of the problem is the molded style. The soft pocket ones take the shape of your breast form. However, this bra looks like it would fit someone who wears a DD cup! My forms are "lost" in the pockets because they are so large! I am returning it. I have no idea what size I could possibly try to replace this with in this style because I ordered an A.

I'm not using this as a mastectomy bra. I wear a 42A which is a REALLY difficult size to find, and this bra looked comfortable both from the photos and the reviews, and came in that size.First of all, though I don't love it, I am not returning it, because it is pretty comfortable. It does roll under the breasts, which is a pretty much unavoidable problem when you have a fat tummy as I do. It's simply a matter of physics. And though it is a little large in the cup, the band is a little tighter than it should be for the size. I found another bra maker that sells 42As which fit much better than this does and are prettier. BUT, this still makes a nice casual bra. And I have an extender if needed.So in short, cups are larger than they should be, band is a bit tighter than it should be.Overall, not bad, just not great.

After trying this bra I realize that it would only look good (like the model in the picture) if you're a size 32 or 34, although the bra runs up to 42. Any larger and the bra becomes a big ol' granny bra with a ton of material. Ironically, the band was too tight. And with all that material and the tight band I feel like I was in a straitjacket.

I ordered a 38 A because I have tiny boobs and a big rib cage. I also hate to have tight bras so I get the band larger. I measured my ribcage as a 36, but this one wouldn't even clasp on the loosest setting without being super tight. I used to be a B cup before breastfeeding and losing weight so I thought an A cup would fit. It was the size of a B cup. I also got it so I could put my fake boob inserts in the pocket and the cup was still too large even with those in there. So I returned it and am waiting on a 42 AA. Hopefully it will fit better, because I always worry about my fake boob inserts falling out of my regular bras. The inside pocket of this one is very nice and that wouldn't happen.

The first bra I order was a 38AA, I loved the mesh pockets but the cups were to big and the band was tight enough that I went and bought band extenders. I was worried about trying a smaller size, but it work a lot better. I have to use the very last row of hooks on the band extenders so that it will fit around my rib cage, but otherwise it is one of the best fitting bra I have bought. Plus the mesh pocket are ingenious for anyone who has had a lumpectomy or breast cancer and needs to use bra pads or inserts.
Why can't these bras be attractive instead of industrial looking?

I have a very small chest but would like some support. My attempt to find a 36 AA bra that isn't padded with hot foam or completely shapeless has been futile. This is the best that I can find. I put a form in the bra if my top or dress needs added shape. This is not my idea of a pretty bra but it will have to do for now.
For my comfort, I feel this runs a bit small

Itâs so difficult to find any bra that fits/feels comfortable, but especially a mastectomy bra during a pandemic! I took a chance on this one and am satisfied. I feel that the band runs small but the cup size is roomy. My usual size is 38C so thatâs what I ordered the first time. Thereâs no room for error on the band - last set of hooks, for sure, and a little tight. The inserts slip around a bit but itâs okay. Reordered a 40B and it fits much better. The inserts stay put and I feel comfortable with the middle set of hooks. Good luck on your search for a well fitting bra. Itâs a journey.

I have been wearing this bra style for years and years. Very comfortable and doesnât show ridges even under clingy fabric. But Iâve noticed that the last few Iâve bought fit smaller than they use to (no, itâs not me thatâs changed!) The cups are the same but the length is about half an inch less.

A pesar de que es un buen producto tengo que decir que las tallas que dice el vendedor no se corresponden con el standard europeo. A decir verdad creo que corresponde a una talla más de la que aparece. Creo que serÃa buena idea que se especificara las dimensiones en cm.

This is one of my favorite mastectomy bra's. It really is quite comfortable, good support & nice soft cups. The inner pockets are very well made as well. All in all, a really nice comfortable bra. I am quite happy with my purchase.

This bra fits as normal. But when I purchase this model of bra online, everyone I get is slightly different. I am not sure if they are knock-offs as I have not purchased direct from manufacturer in a long time. But, that said the quality appears to be there and they fit well.
