Good fit, but don't bother with the beige

Oh Marcie, you tease. Long have I waited for you to arrive in beige. In my rainbow lingerie wardrobe, I needed a properly fitting bra to wear under a white shirt. I thought all hope was lost, and then there was you. Two months it took for you to get to my door, and when you do? White polka dots. I saw them in the pictures of course, but I thought they would blend. They do not. The contrast is too strong. You're just another non-white-shirt-compatible bra, this time in a more drab colorway. Sigh.

Good quality bra, produces "cakes on a plate" shape.

I ordered this in a 38G, which is my usual size in Panache bras, although I had never ordered a Cleo by Panache model before. I chose the Marcie after a long and tedious search on Bratabase where it seemed to be a good option for my Panache Tango/Nouveau-wearing self. It has narrow wires, a bit shorter than my favorite Panache Nouveau, and with a bit less side coverage. The straps are also made of a stretchier material than I'm used to. They are a teeny bit short right now, but I expect them to stretch out a bit in the first few wears, and then they'll be fine for me (they're definitely shorter than the straps on a Tango or Nouveau, but comparable to the strap length on a Curvy Kate Princess. I'm a bit tall, and a lot of bras are short in the straps. If you have a lot of problems with straps being short, it may be a problem in this bra.The cups produce a rounded, "cakes-on-a-plate" shape, which is not what I'm used to, but my husband approved wholeheartedly. I personally think it's a bit over-the-top for everyday wear, but I'm keeping the bra. This bra seems bouncier than I'm used to, but I'm not sure if it's because of the stretchy straps, the bit less side coverage than I usually wear, or the fact that it places the top of my breasts so cartoonishly close to my face—I really don't know which it is!The fabric is quite smooth and doesn't show under a clingy t-shirt. The wires are very stiff (which I prefer.) The straps are ribbed, which should hold any adjustments well. The adjustment hardware is metal.Overall, this is a good-quality bra for the price, with smooth seams and nice hardware, and the sizing seems comparable to other Panache bras.

Best-Fitting Bra so Far...

Makayla

Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2016

This is the best-fitting bra I have found to date.I'm a UK 30FF, and this fits marvellously around the band and shoulders, with the gore area flat against my sternum.I'm fairly even as far as fullness goes, perhaps a tad more so on the bottom. It is well-constructed and cute (I especially like the armbands! They are super comfy!).My only gripes are that:1. The underwire goes fairly high up the sternum, so after about 6 hours of wear, it becomes uncomfortable, and2. As others have said, it is more open on top than I can fill out - not enough to make me return it, but enough so that I can pinch about 1/2" of fabric in certain positions, after using the scoop-and-swoop to ensure they're sitting properly.I think I'm going to try the Lucy and Tango II next and see if they offer a better fit.

Just didn’t work for me

This wasn’t a good fit for me. According to all my measurements, it should have been the right size, but I think the cut just isn’t good for me. The band tightness and gore were right (and going up a band size might be too loose), but the wires on the outer edge were poking into my breast tissue rather than laying against my ribs while simultaneously also poking my armpit (too narrow and tall I guess?). But I also had wrinkling in the cup, so I don’t think going up a cup size would help.I also didn’t love the feeling of the fabric. It’s a sort of coarse mesh with a coarse lace over it, and the trim is stiff and rough. My skin is sensitive and within 5 minutes, I had red welts where it rubbed (but to be fair, I have this problem with all but the softest underclothes). I imagine this might have gotten better with washing and wear, but I’m returning it, so I can’t speak to that. It also just didn’t look as nice in person as in the picture.I can’t speak to durability because after trying it out for five minutes, I knew I couldn’t keep it. This is my first time purchasing a bra from this brand, and I hear great things, so I’ll try again with a different style.

A great balconnet for close set, projected breasts

DANG, this bra looks good. I hope the Marcie replacement will measure up. I have mostly given up on balconnets because I'm somewhat close-set and the gores tend to dig in and be uncomfortable. The Marcie is very narrow at the gore, and even though the straps are wide-set they're not as wide as some other balconnets I've tried. This bra gives SO much lift and shape - my plunge bras just can't compare. It has plenty of room for people who are full on top - the lace gaps on me a bit but I don't care because it fits so well otherwise. It manages to push everything towards the center while having enough room to avoid digging into my soft tissue. My underbust measurement is about 28". The Marcie's 30 band is the perfect degree of tight for me - it actually stays put. So if your underbust measures closer to 30" you may want to go up a band size. I found that the cups were true to size except for the gapping lace, and I'm relatively even when supported.

New favorite bra...and I'm PICKY.

This is my new favorite bra. I'm eventually going to buy more colors. After owning this for a couple of months, I find myself reaching for it every day. The fabric is thin yet sturdy, which is wonderful if you have one bigger than the other—the extra fabric on the smaller one doesn't bunch up or poke out too much. The band is so comfortable and the straps are great... cups hold the girls up really well even after a 12 hour work day. Plus, this orange is just great, perfect strap color for sticking out of slouchy sweatshirts or strappy tanks/dresses.

Cleo Marcie is known for its great lift and shaping, I get a great rounded profile in this bra which I adore. It’s also very comfortable, good quality, and the dots and lace are nice embellishments on what would otherwise be a plain nude bra. It’s too sheer to work as a t-shirt bra for me under white tops, my nipples can easily be seen (the outline and colour). I wish Panache made this bra with a solid nude lining!

I’ve worn this style for years and not found any better. So happy it’s much cheaper on here. Delivery was SUPER quick. 100% recommend.

I love this bra! It uplifts with forward facing stance, no east west look. Dresses appear better with this bra comparing to moulded ones for me. I bought 2 more of these. Sheer and lacy but quite durable.Nips can protrude on cold weather though.

This is a beautiful bra BUT this candy pink version has some sizing issues. Ive bought it in two sizes now and realised the back is too small as it marked my skin and I had difficulty breathing comfortably. I had to return both bras, and an contemplating whether ill buy another size up or if that'll also be a waste of time.
