Love these! I am 5'7 and 250 lbs with most of my fat in my stomach. I have the horrible experience of everything rolling down. NOT THESE! They stay put both in the waist and in the thighs. The are comfortable, light and fit perfectly! This is my second pair~

A gentle warming for older customers

I'm so sorry to give this underwear only three stars. Every good thing previous reviewers wrote was absolutely true. They fit perfectly, felt great, didn't roll up, didn't make swishing noises, etc. BUT. Some of us older ladies have a little dribbling problem when we sneeze suddenly or laugh too hard and too long. We use those little panty liners with a sticky bit to catch the drops. And I'm sad to report that the sticky liners will not stick to the fabric of this item. If there was a cotton gusset at the crotch, I imagine that would work. But the continuous seam, which is most likely one of the excellent features that makes these so comfortable, also makes it impossible to keep a panty liner in place. Of course I can wear something else with my panty liner under this garment, but two layers doesn't seem all that appealing to me. Growing old gracefully can be a challenge sometimes.

Wish they had a lace trim but still amazing!

These are exactly what I have been looking for! Slight tummy control, good length on the thighs and do not ride up! I'm 5'8 12/14 pant and got the XL. I am about to order more because these are my summer time / under dress dream!

Like a Thundershirt for my thighs! So comforting!

I do not have a thigh gap.I do not have a Toblerone triangle. What I do have is American sized thighs that I will generously call muscular. (Just go with it, ok?) My thighs love each other. They need to be touching each other at all times for comfort, which makes wearing skirts a difficult thing to do comfortably as my thighs try to stick together. When separated, or in the moments when I'm walking and they're not making full contact at all times, they reach and cling for each other, sweating with the anxiety of being apart, which causes the dreaded chub rub.Hence, cruising Amazon for slip shorts, boxer briefs, anything that allows me to wear a skirt without pain, and to be able to walk for longer periods of time without people asking what's wrong with my back due to my thigh-clinging gait. These arrived, a smooth, silky pair of slip shorts that look like they're made for a toddler. I measured, they're about 3.5 Amazon gift cards width across at the top. Not to judge, but my waist is clearly not 3.5 Amazon gift cards across, so there was a certain level of, "You're kidding, right?" However, I had ordered based on other reviewers praise of their stretchiness and comfort, so into the washer and dryer they went...I tried them on right out of the drier. (It's summer. That was stupid. Great idea in the fall, stupid when it's 90+ degrees out.) Once they cooled a bit, they were marvelous. They stretch enough to fit comfortably - the only noticeable part once they're on is actually the bottom leg band feeling a little tighter due to the hem. This isn't bad, as it keeps the legs in place unless you're scootching around on furniture or getting out of a car. It's definitely not shapewear, which I appreciate, it's just tight enough to stay in place yet you can still breathe (and eat ice cream) easily. Perfect. My thighs are happier, and calmer, with the soft fabric surrounding them. I can exercise more, though the goal of a thigh gap isn't ever going to be on my to-do list. Clearly this product is a win for everyone.

It would have been helpful to read from other reviewers before I purchased these, but shocked that no one else commented about these shorts being made out of pantyhose material. That's all they are. They have no compression or support in them at all, just a thin pantyhose material short that is see-thru. I'm returning them not because of this, but because the waist cuts in. Not exactly the silhouette I wanted under a dress.I ordered a size large and I normally wear a medium. Everything fit, but the waist is tight and I have a flat stomach.

These shorts fit perfectly, and do just what I want. I wear them under skirts for modesty and to keep my thighs from rubbing together. These fit comfortably, stay put, and don't dig in anywhere. I hate shapers and feeling constricted, so these are great!

The shorts are fine, but the product description needs to state - CLEARLY - which colour the shorts are, as it's hard to tell when looking at an image on a screen. I get that they think cutesy names will sell products, but it's annoying to have to buy another pair because the first pair isn't the colour you expected. Returning the first one is more hassle than it's worth. For the record, 'Love Me Tender' is 'light pink' and 'Vass Latte' is 'nude'. I thought that 'Love Me Tender' also looked skin-toned in the image - perhaps simply a lighter skin tone than 'Vass Latte'. Not the case! It's the colour of a 5-year-old girl's tutu. When in the history of the universe did anyone ever tell someone they had latte-coloured skin?!

It's Friday night. 5pm. I just got home from work. The dog is looking at me like "hey, when are you going to feed me, lady?", the baby is in his bouncer, probably about to go bonkers at any minute... I'm trying to eat chips and salsa with one hand.... and I'm interrupting all of that to write this review. Yeah. They're that good! I'm buying more as soon as I hit "submit".Ladies with curves - you know the situation. You are NOT wearing pantyhose or some kind of shaping contraption with that dress, yet if you go without something and have to walk more than 50 feet and it's over 65 degrees out... ugh. I've been there too. So, if you're like me, you've headed out to whatever big box store and started buying boyshorts, knickers, slipshorts, bike shorts, whatever. Or you buy a second stick of deodorant and use it Amy-Schumer style. Or you find yourself Googling things like "products to prevent runner's thigh rash" even though you don't run. Ever.Do you have one-click ordering turned on? It's worth it for this item! I put them on and immediately knew it: yes, these will work. Here's why:1) They're a great length. Boyshorts don't work -- those are basically grandma panties with a lower waist and maybe a 2" inseam. Horrible. On the other hand, these actually have an inseam, come down, and fully cover the chub rub areas. I don't look like the model in the picture (I'm a size 16 for your reference), but the picture is pretty accurate. I have about a hand's length between the bottom hem and my knee while wearing these. I can wear a knee or above-the-knee length dress or skirt without anyone knowing I'm wearing these.... unless I want them to know. (wink wink) ;)2) This is not shapewear! Hallelujah! If you want spanx or similar, you already know where to get those. Sometimes you just want something lightweight and comfortable. These fit the bill. And, they don't cut me at the waist, creating that weird muffin-top madness that requires some kind of shaping cami or whatever on top to eliminate. Bonus!!!3) These are lightweight! So it's not like you're wearing bike shorts underneath your skirt. I mean, I don't do spinning or ride a bike, but I'm guessing the material used for those applications is not super lightweight and opaque. I live in Vermont and it's February, so I can't attest to how cool these will be in humid weather, but based on my previous experiences with garments like these, I think they will be comfy. A worthwhile trade off for not having to waddle due to sore, chaffed thighs!4) These stay put! I've been sitting all kinds of crazy ways, running up and down stairs, walking around my house -- no tugging needed.I hope these work as fantastically for you as they are for me. I hope your search for comfortable, practical shorts is over so you can liberate the unworn dresses and skirts from your closet! :D
