Nope...just no

PurpleLotus

Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2019

I found this product and was happy to read the other glowing reviews from my "peers". Those peers I assumed were women who just want some damn black, cotton undies with a black crotch and that won't creep up your nether regions. I've bought Hanes in the past but thought I'd give these a go for the value.I'm sure our butts are like snowflakes and each is different, but if you're used to Hanes, regular cotton fabric, or just underwear that assumes your backside is larger than your frontside..... you're NOT going to love these. These are weirdly cut. Not true boyshorts, but like someone took low bikini cut underwear and widened the front part by the crotch and called it boyshorts. When you lay them flat, you might not readily know which is the front and which is the back. And then you put them on. Look, I don't have the flattest pancake butt, but I'm definitely built like a white girl. These did not make it halfway up my crack. Which means I enjoy a "omg are my pants falling down" feeling when worn under skirts and dresses. For real, they are in actually danger of falling down. The fabric is...weird. It's like some alien hybrid that was built to retain heat and maximize discomfort. What at first seems to be a comfortable give, soon turns into a general stretching out which adds to the effect of your half covered butt. And I'm not the curviest of girls, nor the best seamstress but even I would assume to make the waist taper in a bit if you're building these for an average woman. Nope, these were built only for women who's waist measurement is exactly the same as their hips. And who wants the underwear to slip and sag over all of it.But don't think your backside gets all the discomfort! Scientists must have labored for months and spend countless hours crunching data to find the exact most uncomfortable point to stop the front of the crotch at. There the designers added the seam, leaving your man in the boat to play jump rope all day with the hardened nub of crotch fabric. If you like being subtlety stimulated and tortured in one of your most sensitive parts....put dozen of these in your cart!!I thought I could just set these aside and save them for the apocalypse, but if the world is ending and I'm getting chased by zombies, I deserve to not be tortured by my undergarments in the process. Due to the aforementioned weird stretchy sagging/lack of fit, I can't even relegate these to my 'shark week' stash.PROS:-They didn't try to make me join a cultCONS:-The fit-The fabric-The stretch-The cut-Their very existence⬇️⬇️⬇️ If this review has helped you, please help me by clicking on 'HELPFUL' below. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ Thanks!!

it fits like underwear. it looks like underwear. it smells like underwear. it feels like underwear. it sounds like underwear. I would say it probably is underwear. just for the record, it does not make a good hat. people will look at you funny. not high fashion at all as a hat. only wear this product as underwear unless you want to get a divorce. good luck and goodbye.mic drop.

Good basic undies

Kate

Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2019

I bought these for the last half of my pregnancy since all my underwear no longer comfortably fit. I wanted cotton undies I wouldn't be concerned about if they became unwearable (pregnancy, new motherhood...) and I wanted some that would fit under my bump and just not have to be thought of. A few weeks in, they're doing what they should be doing. They're a little on the thick side, so I definitely can see some panty lines but they're usually covered by whatever shirt I'm wearing. They're great to sleep in and I will probably order more for after these have been put through the ringer when I give birth!

Soft. Will shrink a little after wash

These are super soft. Fit perfectly, however I was nervous to wash them sknce the are 95% cotton. Washed in cold... Still shrunk a little. They still fit just more snug then I would like. I would suggest going a size up.

Good fit and doesn't ride up

I love these. I am a US size 6-8 and the medium size fits well. They stay in place and don't ride up. They shrunk a bit after first wash but have enough stretch to fit well. I'll be ordering more.

Exactly what I was looking for!

They are like a short boyshort style which is what I was looking for and are very hard to find. Mix of like hipsters and boyshort I would call them "cheeky" undies. Made very well and seams aren't thick so I would call them semi no-show cause they don't show undie lines very much at least in jeans.

Very comfy undies

I bought a pair of undies online one day and it was the most comfy I ever owned. I was never able to find it again and have since had to throw it out. These come pretty close to that.
