Awesome bra alternative, with a few caveats (4.5 stars)

I'd give this 4.5 stars.I HATE wearing a bra. Even Coobie bras cut into my ribcage after a few hours. But I need something with minor support for around the house, and something with more support and lift for when I go out in the world.This top works for both those situations. Pop the pads out at home, super comfy. Pop them in when going out, still comfy and looks great, either under clothes or alone. The material quality, garment shape, and manufacturing quality are all excellent. There are no seams on the sides or bottom, adding to the comfort. Best of all there's no boob flattening or uniboob effect. All the compression features (micro-ribbing on the sides, ruching on the inner bust area) are quite flattering. Overall, this garment has the effect of a medium-support bra with none of the rib-digging that I loathe. And it looks GREAT on me.It's not perfect though:-It's way too LONG. I'm tall, and this still hits 1/3 down my thigh (just covers the rear). It is definitely longer than the picture implies. This may prevent me from buying more unless I can't find a shorter version.-This runs SMALL. I'm a size 10 on top and I didn't want compression, so I got the 3X. It still compresses a bit, but still feels comfortable enough.-Straps are a tad short, so the bust area tends to ride up. I hope the straps stretch out over time, but for now, it's causing some occasional readjusting.-The removable cup pads float around a bit more than I'd like. They are the standard curved triangle inserts, I'll try replacing them with better ones and see if that helps.

The material is nice. Order was delayed and when I got it, was disappointing because the product said true to size and I would say an XL looks and fits like a small- medium at best.

I just can't stand to wear bras anymore. I have tried everything! I mean EVERYTHING until I found this. As soon as I got it, I tried it on and immediately ordered another one!! NOT hot, NOT too tight...juuuuust right!

Great affordable alternative to Spanx. I would recommend whatever size you are with Spanx to stay in that size.

I was so sure this would work and found after wearing that it was short from the shoulder to the bust line. What a disappointment.I'm sure I will find someone to fit it.

I really like how these feel, they are tight enough but not too tight and they are comfy. But the pads float around and I was constantly trying to pull them down. You can't remove them, so I'm not sure what I will do to make these work.
