No thigh gap? No Problem!

I'm a real woman (#nothighgap). I wear these slipshorts, with underwear underneath, anytime I wear a dress without tights. I'm a sz 16 and bought the XL. They are stretchy, breathable, comfortable and don't ride up or roll down. I'm also a shorty (5'2"), so these DO come up past my belly-button (doesn't bother me in the least) and are too long to rock a mini (with arms at my sides, they end at my fingertips). I've purchased two pair so far and highly recommend them for anyone concerned with chaffing issues.

I love these but it seems the sellers are unreliable. I ordered these and wanted the longer length as shown in the picture like I had from a previous purchase. I clicked my previously ordered item and just changed the color and size (for a more comfy fit instead of slimming)..... what I got was a significantly shorter version of what I wanted and was sold. Disappointed. Night before a vacation and I probably gotta pack em anyway. This length doesnât work for my thighs.This pic is the same item, L on the bottom and the XL laying on top. Bummed that I didnât get what I wanted because the longer shorts are awesome.

If I could give these 10 stars I would. When I got bigger I completely gave up dresses and skirts because I couldn't stand the thigh rub. These have been a godsend. I can now wear skirts and dresses again. I normally have to wear cotton undies because of girly issues however these do not cause me a problem even though they are not Cotton. They breath well and feel like a silky slip! My only complaint is if I want to wear a feminine pad I have to wear undies underneath because they are so stretchy and move too much to keep pads in place. 2x perfect for size 20 bottoms.

I got the maroon color. Very nice.Stretchy and comfortable, wicks moisture and overall really like these.And this is a REAL 5 star review! not like those where the person says they got the item for free for a review. Nope. I paid for my underwear, thank you very much.

This might be one of my FAVORITE Amazon EVER! I know that sounds odd because it's basically underwear shorts but I have searched for years for the perfect pair and these are it! If you suffer from chafing when you wear dresses/shorts in the summer, or if you want to ensure modesty and like to wear shorts under your dresses and skirts this is the perfect pair! First, unlike the COUNTLESS other pair I've tried in the past, these are the only pair that don't EVER rolldown/rollup. The waist does not roll down leaving you with a unflattering buldge and the legs do not roll up leaving you to try to lower the leg back down in public! My favorite part is that they are super lightweight. If you have really hot summers these are perfect because you barley feel them on, it's like a second layer of skin, their breathable and don't make you overheat! I forget I'm wearing these, that is how comfortable they are.Note that they DO NOT really provide shapewear, if that is something you are looking for, these will only minimally smooth you, however since the band on the waist is not very thick, and can be lifted high, they do not cut you off in a weird place creating a buldge.I highly recommend these to anyone looking to find a pair of shorts for wearing under garments especially if you are curvy/ plus size!

I used this as underwear under jeans, because I do a lot of walking and wanted to avoid chafing. The Skimmies worked pretty well for that purpose as they stayed nicely in place all day. However, I did get a small run in them almost immediately, so I think they are not as sturdy as I would like. I would also prefer to have a cotton crotch, but that seems to be unusual in this type of undergarment.

I can't believe all these years I've been cutting off tights into shorts to wear under skirts! Skimmies was exactly what I needed, great for modesty and for keeping your thighs from rubbing/chafing! I ordered this and the Vassarette Women's Comfortably Smooth Slip Short to compare, and this one is better - the legs don't ride up at all, or even feel like they might (Vassarette does inch up a little while walking a lot). They also don't add a lot of unwanted, uncomfortable shaping - they really are just like the shorts-version of the most comfortable tights you own. I am 5'5, 155 lbs, size 12-ish, very pear shaped, and I ordered the L and it's perfect. My second pair of Skimmies is already on its way, although honestly, I could probably do with several pairs, I wear skirts/dresses so much.

I am so happy to have found these! Maidenform had a lightweight thigh slimmer that I really loved, so of course they discontinued it. I tried a different Maidenform lightweight thigh slimmer, and also the Spanx Skinny Britches, and I loathed, detested and despised both of them. They squeezed me in places I didn't want to be squeezed, were uncomfortable and wouldn't stay put. The Jockey Skimmies slipshort is amazingly cool and comfortable, doesn't roll down at the waist or up the leg and doesn't give me the dreaded muffin top, They just firm everything up a little and smooth things out nicely under a dress or skirt. I hope they don't discontinue this product! -I am 5'4", 145 lbs, and the medium fits me perfectly.
