I live in Florida and summer time can be brutal... Especially if you happened to be the lucky person with the thunder thighs genes. I'm not overweight and yet still my thighs like to keep in touch which each (soul mates). I was looking for a thin breathable material for Florida's sweltering heat and something that wasn't a control top /girdle because I don't want unnecessary rolls protruding through my dress.. And I stumbled upon the skimmies and gave it a try.. Wow.. Not only does it keep my area about 10 degrees less... But it's not a control top... No rolls... I don't even feel it on... Best investments ever. Sizing is true to size.... Make sure to follow the chart that they provide. Now my thighs can stay in touch without the chafing.

Love these shorts! I am wearing a pair right now under my skirt... I cannot wear skirts or dresses comfortably because my thighs chafe and sweat- these totally solved the problem for me.Plus size girls- these do NOT squeeze your waist! I am a size 16, Apple shaped, 5'9" 215lbs and always have trouble with things fitting the rest of me but being too tight in the mid-section. These do not have this problem so buy with confidence. I bought a size 2XL.

I prefer these over Spanx- they smooth and look nice but without that miserable tightness or the heat. I hate how hot some shapewear is- come on, is it worth suffering to barely look smaller?Iâve worn these to events from all day long horse riding competitions to funerals- they perform at both. I HATE being hot- these arenât hot.So, these wonât make you two sizes smaller but they WILL1) smooth you WITHOUT parts of you bulging out the top and bottom2) make you look great3) no panty lines (donât try to wear undies under these, please4) breathe and not roast youI didnât get these free or reduced, my review is only to help other folks look great without being miserable. Be beautiful AND comfy.

Got a big run/hole at the thigh/bum seam first time wearing!!! I am a HUGE Skimmies fan and I have had original Skimmies for many years (never a single run, hole or tear) and purchased the correct size SM (5'5" 120 lbs). I LOVE LOLE LOVE LOVE the slip of the material used for these (material so much better than the original Skimmies which makes skirts and dresses âclimbâ up). Also, the waist, while nice when standing, rolls down when sitting (and, I carry my weight in my thighs and have a flat stomach). Original Skimmies don't do this. If these were more durable and the waist didn't roll they would be PERFECT and I'd give them 10 stars.....Jockey: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make these as durable as the originals and they would be the ABSOLUTE PERFECT slip short....you are so close!ps- Definitely annoyed that I have to pay for return shipping for what I believe is a somewhat defective product. It isn't much $, but the principal of it.

I bought these to wear under dresses in the summer to keep my fat, sweaty thighs from sticking together. I love them!...the Skimmies, not my thighs! Only thing I wish was different is that they wouldn't roll down at the waist, but I don't know how that could be avoided unless they were super high rise, which I wouldn't want anyway, so I'll just deal with the waist as is.
Was hesitant to purchase, but so glad I did!

I was worried about the sizing on these, but follow the Jockey sizing chart, they fit true to the chart sizing. Very smooth, soft and comfortable. Keep in mind these are not a shaper so they do not fit overly tight. They just give you smooth coverage. Under leggings they eliminated all the bumps you would see with normal underwear. Perfect for under dresses when you want more coverage too. They do not stick to the fabric you are wearing over them. So lightweight you do not even notice them. I will be getting more of these.
A cotton dress with these underneath was 1000 times more comfortable in the heat and humidity of DC than shorts ...

As frumpy as I felt wearing these bike short-looking things under a dress, they weren't lying about the 'cooling' factor. A cotton dress with these underneath was 1000 times more comfortable in the heat and humidity of DC than shorts or a dress with body glide would have been. My dress buttoned up the front, so I was flashing these too the street whenever the wind blew the front panel, so nude might have been a wiser choice (or a different dress).

I've been looking for something like this for a while. I have generous thighs and wearing skirts or dresses with bare legs results in uncomfortable rubbing/chafing. These are silky, light weight and look great under a dress or skirt. Smooth, no bulges. Absolutely perfect. I first saw them at Macy's but didn't like Macy's price. They are a few $ cheaper on Amazon.
