Comfortable 5 weeks post breast reduction surgery!

Angelle

I had a breast reduction five weeks ago, which is (obviously) still healing. I'm cleared to wear my own bras now, not the surgical garment my surgeon gave me, and I was having trouble finding something that was comfortable. My incisions are still tender, and my breasts quickly become sore if they are not supported and "cradled" properly. My sports bras were too 'scratchy', and caused friction on the aereola incisions - definitely NOT comfortable. My surgeon recommended I try a 'bralette'. Overall, I love it, and will probably order a few more. The band is wide enough that it doesn't dig into the incisions below my breasts, and the cups cradle perfectly, eliminating friction on the other incisions. The shoulder straps are adjustable, so you can get the perfect amount of lift!Note on fit: I bought the XL (for a 36D) - the band is slightly snug, so I don't think it would go up to a 38 as indicated, but it fits me just fine. I'm between a 36C/D right now. If you're between sizes, definitely go one band size up.

FINALLY a bralette for DD!!!

I’ve been trying to find a cute, supportive, affordable bralette for years. There is nothing more disappointing than looking at the cute ones and seeing only for cups A-C. This one answered my prayers! I’m a 36DD and the large is perfect, no side bulge, no double boob, and no uni-boob. Straps don’t dig in and I’m not going to end my day with red welts anywhere. Take a chance on this one, you won’t be disappointed... Now just waiting for Amazon to make more styles. Just for reference, I’m 5’7”, 150 pounds and broad shoulders.

An Honest Review

5 stars for quality of item compared to the low price. Not the best quality beyond that. About what you would expect for a simple $8 bralette. Sizes run big. “White” color has more cream in it in actuality than in add. Over all, no complaints, but nothing to rave on about either.

Good coverage, very confortable

Great fitting bra. Cups provide good coverage without leaving you feeling trussed up and compressed. No side boob fall out or back fat rollover. Wide bottom band keeps bra in place no ride up even with lots of activity. Very comfortable to wear all day with no wires poking at you. Liked my first purchase so much I bought 2 more. THE "PURPLE" looks more gray than purple but still very nice. I usually wear a 38 D and bought XL.

Cute and comfy, but slightly sheer where I wasn’t expecting it to be

This fit perfectly and is very comfy, my only issue with it is that half the cup is see through and half isn’t. The outside half of each cup has an extra layer that makes it opaque, but the inside half of each cup is slightly sheer, and it’s divided in the perfect place to just barely make my nipples visible. I found this kind of strange and just wish it would have this layer in the entire cup or just not at all. Not a huge deal, just not quite what I was expecting.

Great bra for price

I weight 120 so I’m fairly skinny and the band on the bra is too tight and I have to wear it on the last hook I probably should have gotten medium

The fabric is bad, the fit is VERY weird, it's poorly made...I can't think of anything good to say

Itchy fabric

This is so itchy. It’s a shame because it’s well made for the price, but so uncomfortable because of the fabric.

Ordered a size small and a medium to try. As I usually wear a size 32F, and as the title size they fit D-DD cups, obviously the cups are a bit small and give a flattened shape. They still give more support than I expected from a "bralette". Otherwise both are comfortable to wear around a house. The size S can be stretched to about 34 inches and the M to to about 36 inches, at least on the models I received. A sizing guide would be very useful!

Apparently it's nice but doesn't quite provide enough support when running.
