Yes, these work to make you look 1/2 inch-1 inch smaller.I'm a size 48 DDD.While I don't look like a B-cup after putting this on, I do look a lot better than looking like I have two missiles on my chest.I HATE THAT!So they round you off and smooth you all at once.No more missiles!As for comfort.I won't lie to you and tell you that they're comfortable beyond belief!THEY'RE NOT!My comfort level as the day goes on...1-3 hoursNo problem3-6 hoursShoulders feeling it6-9 hoursWrap the straps in a washcloth on each side.Looks like you're wearing shoulder pads.9-12 hoursGET ME OUT OF THIS CONTRAPTION!Hope this review helps.
Firm Support & Hold, Very Little Jiggle

It fits the same as other bras in the Just My Size line. It does what it should from the "minimizer" standpoint and also reduces bounce in very large breasts at a much lower cost than most other bras in the full-figure size range. My only issue with it is the seams being so pronounced, and that is the reason I didn't award 5 stars. If you are seeking an affordable way to get firm support, I still recommend this bra-- unless you desire a more "pointy cone" shape. This one has rounded cups.

Well...I got it on, I wasn't sure that was going to happen lol I am usually a 36 DD but I have gained some weight so I thought a 38 D would work but wow this is right in the band for me, cup size seems a bit small too once it was on it was all good. I will have to see if this stretches out some or if I have to move up a band size because I do like the structured nature and coverage of this bra. Seems like it would be comfortable for work, I move around non stop as an elementary teacher. If it wasn't so tight around the band it would probably be very comfortable. But holy cow it was hard to get on the first time lol
Uncomfortable and doesn't succeed at 'minimizing'

I sometimes think there should be an option for zero stars, but I think one star is fine in this case because the product DOES hold one's boobs, the very minimum job a bra must do. My main beef is that the straps are not comfortable AT ALL. Sure, they're better than 'spaghetti straps' (or even straps the width of linguini), but the amount of padding in the straps is a joke. (Also, unless you tighten the straps as much as they can be tightened, the section of the straps with padding don't actually sit on top of the shoulder). Second, if you have the back hooks set 'widest', when you lean back into a chair or sofa back the hooks press into your back; really uncomfortable. Finally, I couldn't detect any 'minimizing' effect. A shirt that gaped very slightly still gaped very slightly with this bra on.The only reason I'm no more than mildly annoyed is that this bra was so cheap. I took a chance based on the 4-star review average, and lost. Save your $12, add $12 more and buy a bra that's at least decent.
Does its job well

This has been "my bra" for years. It's gotten hard to find this particular style (1973) in stores, so I'm delighted I can order it from Amazon. Its construction is very comfortable, feels cool due to where the open lace is located and doesn't show through T-shirts. It does minimize and NOT emphasize the bustline. However, the BAND size runs small because I take at least one size smaller when trying on their other styles There's three sets of hooks on the back for adjusting the fit. .

I revieweved the Sizing chart and still picked the wrong size. Donate to Charity and go get properly measured at women's Dept in a Dept store such as JC Penneys used to do and other offered the service. Recommend the Brand. You can't go wrong with "JUST MY SIZE" especially when you need support for what the Goid Lord gave ya!
Comfortable Bra

I ordered 3 new bras at the same time since I had a few which had just worn out. Of the three I ordered, this was the best fit. What I like best is that the band at the bottom is not super wide, which makes it not double over when I am wearing it. The fact that the straps are wide over the shoulder is important also, and makes it very comfortable.

I have worn this bra style for years. I just tried 2 different bras and just returned them and reordered JMS minimizer. This bra fits me great but I have found 1 sz larger fits much better. Also I had a lumpectomy in left breast and it is 1 size smaller in the cup size but still evens out pretty well because of the minimizer style. Very happy with these bras.

The product is not made to their regular standards. The lace on one bra was torn away from the body of the bra on each side of the bra. The elastic used on the sides & back of the bra used to be made of a more firm elastic that gave you support, the elastic now is very flimsy and has not support at all. Time to find something else.

The bra looks ok I have not had a chance to even try it on because the strap broke off completely as soon as I tried to adjust it. These cheap bras are not made well. I'm going to try to sew it back myself and then I will update my review.
