I've tried quite a few corsets and I'm one of the people that wear them for hours and hours a day all the time. This particular corset is very durable and comfortable. I actually just ordered another one by the same brand to downsize haha not that this one doesn't fit, just that I've achieved my goal in this one so now it's time to get a smaller one ! I love it though!

I bought this corset so that I can get more of an hour glass silhouette for my 1950s & 60s clothing. I would say if you've never worn an under bust corset (like me) that you should watch videos on proper lacing. I will be doing this since I think the trick is learning how to properly fit it to your body. Anyways, I am a 31" waist, 36C, 160 lbs, and 5'5". I was able to get the medium and it gives me room enough to make it smaller. Right now, I only made the effort to shrink my waist to 30".

I love this! I've never had anything like it I bought it originally to help smooth out my lumps when I go wedding dress shopping in a few weeks but it helps my posture also. No one warned me how difficult it was for my chubby self to get into this by myself but I eventually did. I still had room to tighten at the top and the bottom. I followed the sizing provided and it fits pretty good. I almost got a size smaller but glad I didn't! I only wore this about 40 minutes but hopefully nothing changes the longer I wear it. If you can, have someone help you get it on because I thought I was stuck for about 10 minutes ha! I'm 5"1 and 187lbs and ordered a XXXL.

I'm really torn on what I think of this corset. It's not the best but it's also not the worst. It's FAR better than any one that you would buy at say Hot Topic or Spencer's (or anywhere else in a mall), but it's definitely inferior to some others I've had made. That being said, I had my others MADE, 100% custom fitted and made specifically for tightlacing and to fit my body exactly. Of course that one cost nearly $400, so it's not a light expense. Given that this one is significantly cheaper, it's not really bad. It's very very comfortable and seems to be made well. My problem with it is that it's very large on the bottom. So large that I can easily fit 3 or so fingers underneath it and it's nowhere near my hips. That's an issue. It fits great on my waist, nice and tight like a really firm hug. But that bottom is bad. I also feel like some of my boning may be twisted and it seems that my specific corset may have been worn and seasoned by someone else. It had an off shape, not like the picture but more like a bell. Overall, I'm not terribly dissatisfied with it, mainly because it was so inexpensive. But I am on the fence on if I'll be buying it again and if I may be returning it. I can't get a smaller size, because then the waist won't fit. I included 3 pictures; 1 without fingers under, 1 with and then 1 from underneath so it can be seen how it's not hugging like it shouldTLDR; the fit on the bottom is very loose but overall it's a good product and the price is fantastic. Not a bad starter corset or one if you need one in a pinch

Great quality corset. Exactly as described and if you use their sizing guide fit is perfect. I think people who buy the wrong size and try to put it to the tightest possible are having the issues because there has been no quality issues for months of 5 days a week wear for about 8 hours after the initial seasoning. You have to season it or it will not fit and be as expected that means you have to put it looser than you may want for a few hours a day for several days as you slowly and gradually tightening and increase the number of hours you wear it. If you try to do it too fast it can physically hurt for you and damage the corset itself. Waist training through corset is a gradual process and takes commitment.
Size chart is not for tightlacing.

SIZING:My waist is 36" and I ordered a size 2XL, according to the size chart. It was too big. I returned it and ordered an XL, instead. I can lace the XL fully closed and feel like I could go tighter. It takes my waist from 36" to 33".It would appear the size chart runs large FOR CORSETS. That is, you want a corset to be snug. That's it's purpose. I can squeeze into some XL clothes, but they are tight! TIGHT! I usually wear 2XL. So, for general clothing purposes, the size chart is accurate. For a waist-training/tightlacing corset, the size chart runs large.MATERIAL:The mesh feels scratchy on my bare skin. I didn't expect it to be as comfortable as my satin corset, but it's not enjoyable to wear this mesh corset under my clothes. This is an "above the clothes" corset, which limits what it can be worn with. I might just have sensitive skin. I see reviews with photos of other people wearing it under their clothes. So, it might just be me. On the bright side, the mesh does feel more breathable than the satin. It's definitely less warm. If you live in a warm climate, that might be something to consider.OTHER:The length of the corset is supposed to be 13.5" but it is only 12.5". This isn't necessarily a problem; I'm just annoyed that the product description is inaccurate.
Wasp waist, but big hips.

I am 5'6", 145lbs, 28H/30G, size 6/8.I bought size small.My natural waist is 27 inches. With the corset I measure 25.5 inches.My natural hips are 34 inches. With the corset I measure 37.5 inches.It is heavy duty, no issues with quality, and it fit as expected, but the silhouette is not what I wanted. I don't think anybody really wants the shape that this corset gives. It seriously only cinches your waist, and shifts those inches down to your hips. There is NO hip smoothing or compression. If you have love handles or hip-dips/violin-hips, this corset will make it SO MUCH WORSE. I had maximum curves is exactly the wrong places. And back rolls.I suppose that if you wore this corset with a very full skirt, it could hide how unflattering the hips are, and also showcase how freakishly small it cinches your waist? The novelty of having a 12 inch difference between my waist and my hips was fun. I looked like one of those people who has used corsets for body modification; totally unnatural. It was sort of cool to have a totally different and extreme figure for a few minutes, but I'm returning it.

It's a very good corset; high quality. The reason I am giving it a 4 star rating is that it's slightly longer than standard under bust models. I wouldn't recommend it to shorter ladies. I myself am 5f10" and have a very standard body length. Typically, 5 clasp underbusts are perfect on me. I like the gentle curve this one gives my body.

For the price this is incredible I got it today and checked it over at a glance it looked very sturdy I put it on and wow it is sturdy I got a 2xl I'm a size 18 and it held beautifully very hourglass curve very happy one little tiny thing is its shorter than I'm used to but hey thats probably buyer error I should've found a longline one overall brilliant buy!

the modesty panel is large enough to get away with going a size smaller and tightening gradually over a short space of time. I got an xl and as a size 14 i should have got the large instead. Great quality for the price. Gives great shape!
