Want to be Comfortable?

L. hogue Maurice

Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2013

I've worn this brand and this particular garment now for several years. They are comfortable, wash very well, keep their shape and don't draw up a huge amount. I prefer the cotton because they are cooler although they have the same style in a microfiber which I have also tried. Oddly enough the microfiber did draw up a bit while the cotton does not. I'm at that point in my life where I want full coverage and comfort. This garment fits my requirements perfectly.

At last ... The perfect smooth, soft cotton panty!

Rachel

Love, love, love these panties. I was looking for a soft, thin cotton panty that comes down far enough in back to stay put under jeans, dress pants, etc., and these are it! I also go in for a lot of "hands on" physical therapy and wanted a more modest panty that wouldn't be quite so revealing in the rear and fit well in the front. These are perfect. The cool cotton used in these is incredibly soft and comfy, and they stay that way even with repeated washing. They are the softest, silkiest cotton panties I have found. Like some other women have mentioned, doctors often recommend cotton panties. My doctor recommended I wear only cotton panties because they breathe so much better. (I have an occasional flare of eczema and it seems worst in the panty and bra region.) I scrapped the nylon and went all cotton with a good moisturizer (for my skin) and haven't had a flare up since I made the change. I strongly encourage anyone who wears a cotton brief to try these panties. They're also great for hiding panty lines! One note: I always buy style 2332. They have a little better coverage, and I think the cotton is thinner and smoother than the other Bali skamps I've tried. And as for cost, well, you get what you pay for, and I think $6 to $7 is a great price for panties. I just wish they sold these in more colors and some fun light colored print fabrics.

wonderful comfortable underpants!

love these stretchy cotton underpants! The seam in the back does indeed allow more room for your bottom, making them so comfortable with no creeping into your crack. In fact these are a little on the big side, but the spandex in them keeps that from being a problem. If I manage to lose any weight, I'll be back to get a smaller size! Happy I got 3 pairs!

COTTON IS THE WAY TO GO!

These are the most comfortable underpants. I have always liked the stretchy full brief, however, most of those are made with lots of plastic and end up being very warm which creates more problems. These underpants are made from 95% cotton and 5% stretch, they stay cool and do not cause sweating. Love them!

Too Large

McLaren

I ordered 4 pairs of size 3X/10 in the nude color, but am not happy with them (for reference sake, my waist is 45, hips 47). They seem made from a thin, scratchy, poor quality cotton, and enormous plus they have plenty more stretch to give. Unless they shrink a lot in the wash, I will return 3 pairs. Don't know if I need one or two sizes smaller. I'd say the size chart is way off.I'm also wondering what the difference is between this pantie and the other seemingly identical pantie listed here on Amazon.com with Prime shipping but selling at a higher price ( ASIN: B004BIUUYI, No Item Model # given and no country of origin given). Has anyone bought both and compared them?

Still my all time favorite panty!

I like the fit and comfort of the Bali Cool Cotton Skamp. There is enough stretch from the spandex in them to be comfortable, but they breathe well because they are mostly cotton. I've been wearing these for years, though have tried others, and they are still my favorite. I like them better than the Bali Stretch Brief Panty because the elastic at the waist isn't as wide which makes these more comfortable and not itchy.

you will hate these as much as I do

If you are looking for the "suggested replacement" for the B800 thick cotton panty with the covered waistband, you will hate these as much as I do. The quality is very poor compared to the older cotton, and the seam is even off center, the elastic itches and I had to tug them down my cheeks all day. Horrid, horrid, horrid. I've had better Kmart multi-packs. I suspect these aren't even authentic Bali.Could not wait to get home and take them off.

Love the fit and the cool-dry fabric

Don't ride up, don't bind, and don't fall apart... that's all I used to ask from my underwear. Now I also want the "cool cotton" or "dri more" or "quick dry", etc. abilities that many clothes now come with. I had never worn this brand but tried it because of the cool-dry fabric. I had bought two other brands, one of them only came in low-rise panties (which I find uncomfortable) and the other had very thick, tall, scratchy, waistbands that constantly "put out" silky strings of thread each time they get washed (incidentally, those cost about $15 a piece).
