Ordered these for my bridesmaids/maid of honor/mother of bride-groom and for myself and not going to lie, I am actually a little embarrassed and disappointed in gifting these. Yes, they are pretty and very cute, I was especially attracted to the gold letteringas my wedding colors are burgundy and gold, but I cant get past the horrible moldy smell these totes give off. I am so glad I ordered these way in advance so I can try to come up with a solution to get rid of the stench. They smell very strongly of moldy wet towel and I'm too afraid to put it in the washer since I dont know how the materials will hold up. I let them air dry in the sun for a few hours and the smell is now faint but still noticeable. Will try to spray with some febreeze and try letting it air dry in the sun again a few hours but I'm afraid of the fading this may cause on the gold letters. I read the reviews complaining about the moldy smell yet still ordered it thinking maybe they just got unlucky, not the case apparently since it seems like a common complaint and there is still no solution to remedy the problem. If anyone know of any solutions to getting rid of the smell or you have successfully washed without ruining it, please let me know!

Itâs cute, smaller than what I expected, but my biggest complaint is that it SMELLS like mildew, or mold. Itâs so strong that it made my entire bedroom smell like it! I canât gift this to someone! Iâm going to put it in the washer, since it canât get much worse and Iâm already not giving it to her. If Iâm the only one this happened to, Iâm just unlucky, but probably wonât order another!

I bought this for myself for my son's wedding after having received a similar bag when my daughter got married. Luckily, it was not a gift for someone else as it smelled horrible when the package was opened, a rancid, moldy smell. Because the time was too short before the wedding to return and get a replacement, I sprayed inside, outside, and both sides of the handles with Febreeze, set it in the sun for a few hours, then ran it in the dryer with 4 scented dryer sheets for an hour on low. That mostly alleviated the smell. I still put it in a plastic bag when packing my suitcase as I didn't want to take the chance of the smell permeating my clothes for the weekend. Other than having to get rid of the smell, it was sturdy and attractive-looking.

Cute, but smells of mildew. The bags come heavily starched so it is near impossible to get the smell out. I turned them inside out and washed them on delicate and cold with some detergent and the downy scent boosters to make it smell like unicorn butts. Instead it just smelled mostly clean. The issue with this is while the bags are still wet the writing comes off. I bought metallic fabric paint and glitter paint from hobby lobby and fixed it and now it looks better than before. Not worth the money considering all the work and money I had to put into them.

The bags were exactly how they are posted. Slight downside, they're not too big on the inside, but it still served it's purpose for me. Also, they had a slight odor when they arrived. I ordered Bride, MOB, MOG, MPH, and bridesmaid. All had the same odor - they were ordered at different times and arrived weeks-a month apart from one another. I had to unfold [they all seemed to have been folded up for a long period of time. It took a while for the wrinkles to come out and flatten out] them to let them air out for a few weeks before I could gift them. Good thing I orders months and months in advance before my wedding. Overall, a good buy. But I don't think I would have been as happy had this been a last minute purchase.

YES it looks like pictured however the absolute STENCH is not described. It was so embarrassing. I packed it right from the box in a hurry and gifted it. Upon opening we realized it had this undeniable stench. It just smelled like gross sewer material idk how to explain it. But as a gift, I was so embarrassed. If you plan on buying this to give be aware of how horrrible this smells

This was my own fault....I didn't read the reviews, like I do with 99% of my orders!!!! I ordered it for a bridal shower gift for my niece and while it was cute, it had the worst smell ever, like I'm not being sensitive, it was unbearable. I attempted to air it out. Sprayed with Fabreeze, left it outside...nothing helped. Had to return. I hope they change the material, because it was really cute.

Loved the bag, but it had an awful smell. Even my husband noticed when getting in the car something smelled. I wish I could have washed it before I gifted it to see if it helped with the order, but I didnât have time, instead I doused it with perfume. Other than that, the bag was great size and look adorable as a large gift bag filled with bridal goodies.
