Iâm 29 and work in finance. I wanted a feminine briefcase suitable for the office without having to spend a fortune. The ones at Office Max were almost $100 (which is more than I can justify spending on a bag...I am not into designer stuff), so I came to Amazon.It shipped very quickly and was packaged nicely. However, this is much smaller than I expected. It does work for my needs, but I wish there was a bit more âwiggle roomâ in the two outer pockets. The good news, and the primary reason for which I bought this, is that it holds my standard-sized file folders if I need to bring some work home with me. It also fits my large At-a-Glance brand calendar. Both the file folders and calendar fit landscape-oriented in the outer pockets, as opposed to having to turn them vertically and shove them in that way. The pockets do NOT snap with these larger items in them though, so Iâll just need to be careful not to spill the bag. The inside zipped pocket is nice and has a couple smaller pockets within. Itâs roomy inside. I could see where some ladies might actually just use this as a purse/briefcase hybrid.A downside is that if you needed to hold several really thick folders, this isnât the bag for you. It would be too bulky and the folders would be smashed. It holds a couple thin folders. Itâll do for me for the time being, but Iâm going to need to find a bigger briefcase at some point for that very reason.The color was a bit darker than expected but still beautiful. Online it looks sky blue, which is what I wanted, but itâs actually more of a deep aqua. But again, I donât really care - itâs beautiful all the same. I wanted the pink one but didnât think it would look too professional in my industry (think of the movie âLegally Blondeâ!) so opted for the still-feminine but more-professional blue. The leather is thick and the item is heavy duty.I knocked a star off because of the smaller size than expected. Otherwise it pretty much met my expectations.UPDATE 5/20/2018:Okay, so after using this a couple months, itâs not a practical briefcase for anyone actually needing to bring a lot with them to and from the office. See my two updated photos. With everything I need to carry, the thing weighs almost 14 lbs, normally not a big deal, but combined with wearing my heels, that does not make for a happy me. Itâs disportionately heavy because the middle section is too small for larger items, so everything needs to be placed in outer pockets. The outer pockets donât close as mentioned in my initial review, and it has spilled in my car several times if I have to brake quickly or if I hit a rough patch of road. Itâs a high quality product for sure, but itâs too small for an actual business use in my opinion. I have gotten compliments on it though, because it is pretty. Just not functional for what I need.

Exactly what I need and was looking for. Holds my laptop and notebooks on the side. Holds my pen, phone, charger, keys, etc on the inside. Compared to my old bags, it is so much easier for me to find my stuff. Looks super cute, also. The bag is structured so it sits nicely under my office Desk rather than those floppy bags.

It is so much nicer than I expected! The leather is so soft and the stitching and design details are very, very well done. Itâs very structured and big enough to fit my MacBook in one side pocket, my iPad in the other side pocket, and whatever else in the large middle pocket (makeup bag, lotion, keys, sunglasses, phone, etc.)I was conflicted about buying this, I was a little worried about what the quality would be for the price - I am so glad I finally decided on getting it! It is PERFECT!Sophisticated, stylish, structured, spacious, well-made and BEAUTIFUL!!

I was beyond excited when I received this purse today. It looks so much better in person and it is bigger than I thought it would be. The only downside where I felt the company lacked compatibility is not allowing for the long handle to become detached. I hated it and ended up cutting it off. You can't even tell that there was anything there to begin with. When a newer version of this purse comes out, I hope they take into consideration that not everyone likes that longer handle. It would be different if it were to be able to tuck in the inside. However, if you do that you will not be able to zip the purse. Worth the minor setback and money. The item is better than pictured on the site, purchase today you won't be disappointed!!!!

It just arrived. I was worried because I have a very large wallet. Some reviews had stated the opening was a little small. It is not not wide open which I like because my stuff wonât fall out so easily but my huge wallet fits in without any problem. I have a file folder in it already and I can still snap the purse closed. The color is amazing!!

I bought the tan, black and cream purse. It's beautiful. However, I can barely get my hand inside it. The top opening does not expand. The black strap goes around the front, through the sides and snaps in the back. There is no give to expand the opening. It's 3 inches wide. You can unsnap the strap in the back for a little give, but then you've ruined the look of the back. You can't pull the strap through the holes in the back to expand more. I've never seen a purse designed so poorly. I own another Dasein in plain black that I love. I had this purse on my wish list for a year before finally buying it. Very disappointed. Edit: This purse was not usable for me. I returned it and Amazon immediately refunded my money. Please read and believe the reviews about the opening of this purse.

This is a really nice purse. A bit bigger than expected and not quite as vibrant but there is plenty of room at the opening. I effortlessly opened the purse a good six inches. I can stack my fists on top of each other and stick them in. I like the wrist strap for the wallet too in case you don't want to carry the whole purse. The wallet also has a zippered compartment for change. I noticed most wallets don't have that anymore. The chain (shoulder strap) isn't removable but since it barely hangs past the bottom of the purse doesn't look bad if you decide to carry it by the straps. You won't have a long chain flopping around. If you wear it on your shoulder it hangs at midsection and tucks under your arm. Overall, it's a very attractive purse. Looks more expensive than it is. Very well made. A little stiff but I like that it holds form and doesn't flop over. This purse is big enough for an overnight bag for most people. Will try to add pics of the opening later. I didn't unsnap the back either. I read some reviews stating the opening was too small so maybe they redesigned it. It opens as wide as the bottom now without any effort.
