Perfect for Vintage Silhouette
Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2017
This is my first longline bra, and I love it! I bought this product to help create a "vintage" silhouette under my 1950's style outfits, and it does the job perfectly. I am usually a 36B or 34C, 31-inch waist, 185lbs (most of my weight is in my hips/thighs, not my stomach, which I think makes a difference for this product) and the 36B fit well. The bra provides excellent lift and separation, complete with the vintage "pointy" cup shape (but not ridiculously pointy). This product is meant to be tight, and acts like shapewear to smooth out lines on the back and waistline, but it is not uncomfortable. I do find that this product creates a slight "muffin top" just below my waistline, where the band ends, but this is not noticeable unless I'm wearing a tight skirt or high-waist pants; for pencil skirts or other form-fitting bottoms, I wear a girdle or shapewear below this bra and the problem disappears).Quality is better than I expected-- I appreciate the details like the soft facing behind the front closure to make it comfortable against the skin. The straps are wide and comfortable, and the lace is pretty. The front closure is much more comfortable and easy to put on that a back-closure long-line bra would be.My only concern is how well the un-lined lace (on the center panel and cups) will hold up over time. I am slightly worried these areas will rip. But I've only worn this bra a couple times, so I can't say yet. Also, the "Champagne" version is actually a very yellow color, so it may show through light-colored clothing.Takeaway: product was exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. Don't buy it if you don't want that "vintage" silhouette (curvy hips, "pointy" cup shape), but if that's what you're looking for, this is a good product!
The front closing is so much better than a back closing I purchased

This is my first longline bra. I wear it with a Rago high waisted girdle. Without the girdle, I get fat squish in the belly area, but no back fat squish. With the girdle, I have a sleek hourglass 1950s silhouette. The front closing is so much better than a back closing I purchased, too. The fabric feels softer as well. The cups produce retro boob, which I find unfortunately minimizing. Overall, I am happy.I normally wear a 38 C. I ordered a 40B.
Lovely and unique

I love the design of this longline bra. It provides great support for your back also good lift where you need it. The only thing I didn't like was the pointy shape in the cups. Otherwise, it is very lovely and unique.
Comfortable with one downfall

First things first: This is meant to give a vintage silhouette. I noticed lots of people complaining so I wanted to get that out there. However, the bra did not make my breasts ridiculously pointed, which I was a little worried about. I was hoping for subtly uplifted, pointed breasts, and I got that. Iâm a little worried about chafing, but I have yet to wear this for an extended period of time. EDIT/UPDATE: It does chafe slightly under my armpits, but I can deal with it. The straps have a great adjustability for someone with small shoulders, so thatâs a huge plus. The only downside is that you cannot wear this under materials that show shape really well. I have a dress that it looks amazing under, but sadly you can see every outline of the clips and cups. Aside from that, I think this bra is awesome and makes my girls feel really sturdy and perky. My breasts are naturally âdroopyâ, so having something to help maintain shape (modern bras do not do this for me) and keep me comfortable is amazing.
Waaay too small

I would highly recommend you pass on purchasing this item and head directly to a bra store or bra fitting event and get fitted properly for a long line bra. The cup/ band size does not help with sizing around the waist. It was ridiculously too small. I wanted so desperately to have the proper foundation under my new dress that I think I may damaged the bra trying to hook it in the front. I don't think I can get a refund. After watching a YouTube video on choosing a longline/posture bra, I now know that your regular size will not work, sizing varies. I got 'taken' on this one.
Pretty Good

Finally, I donât have to send it back. Order one size down in cups due to two factors. One, the cup size is a bit big just a bit, two, the boning on the sides is not very sturdy and you will need it to be snug. The band size is on the tad higher side of true to size. Straps adjust but could be a little wider. Overall, pleased with purchase, ordering another in black but down one size in cup.
Perfect vintage styled foundation garment

I wear a 36C or D-a little in between those cup sizes. Iâm 5â5 160lbs with a 31-32 inch waist, and purchased to 36C. I was a little worried looking at it if I should have gone up to a 38, however once I put it on it was rather comfortable and it really gave me the vintage style/shape I wanted! I like vintage inspired clothing and this really brings it up a notch! So happy I bought it!

Happy with product but wish I'd ordered 38B. I'm usually 36B and other reviews suggest going up a band and down a cup. Cups a little big. Cinches nicely at the waist but still comfortable. Nice thick straps. High neckline so not suited to low cut clothing. Would buy again once I've saved up. Delivery was a couple of weeks.
Caution: Returned two but received credit for only one - no way to contact seller!

I ordered two. The concept is great but the cone-shaped design of the cup is not made to fit the natural shape of a woman's breasts. On one the cone-shaped cup was too large in the nipple area. So I ended up ordering the next size down. On that one, the cone-shape sides did not provide adequate coverage causing spillage on the sides. The result of being too small. I returned both, mailed them together in one package but was only refunded for one of the bras and not the second. There is no way provided to contact the seller.

I appreciated the reviews and sized up in the band and did pick the right size. Usually I'm a 34DDD (depending on the brand) and grabbed the 36DDD. I was worried the cup size might end up too big but it's perfect. It's definitely tight in the band so I couldn't have gone smaller and no way I can put on any weight. But I'm happy with it.I wanted to get a classic silhouette to wear under 40s & 50s inspired clothing and this will work under some but not all. The problem is that the hook and eye part in the front shows under bengaline dresses like from Stop Staring so it won't be appropriate for that.Speaking of the hook and eye, I can't imagine getting a piece where this is in the back. It's hard enough to hook it in the front and takes quite a long time. There's no way I could reach behind to do it in the back and it's too snug and built around the fitting of the cups to be able to hook it and then move it around. I definitely don't understand the back hooks and I'm glad to have picked this one.Overall, I'm happy with this piece and might also order it in a cream or white if I can find one available.

I like the support but I will never buy it again as the body is to long on me.
