This review is for style number 43116 from the Classic Collection, Slim Double Zip Crossbody. I bought several of Travelon purses from Amazon to pick the right one for a European trip. The rest were returned. This one and another I kept. I paid full price for this bag and wasn't given anything for this review. Of course if someone would like to give me something, I'd gladly accept :-)I love little this bag. It has 6 separate spaces with 3 of them on the outside. The bag is 10" tall. It's 8.5" from side to side. Each side of the bag has an outside pocket. One side has two pockets that lock together; the other has one pocket with just a snap. The pockets that lock together are 5â and 6â deep and about 8â wide. The pocket with just the snap is 9â deep.The middle pocket is the big one. It's about 10x8.5". It also has a locked zipper. On the inside thereâs a designated space for several RFID protected credit cards, a zipped pocket, a small flashlight and a pocket for a cell phone the size of a note 4 with a bulky case. The pocket is roomy enough to hold 8 credit cards, a cell phone, a Kindle, lipstick, a tissue packet and a guide book. Thereâs no room for an umbrella.The compartments are just very well thought out and practical. The entire outside of the bag is wire protected and the strap has a wire in it. The strap has a locking ability which can be used when you're at an outdoor cafe by locking your purse to the chair so some purse snatcher can't run off with it. The strap also has a wire in it so it can't be easily cut. The shortest the strap can be is 15" the longest is 30.

I was going to Rome on a business trip and I was a bit suspicious of all the stories of pickpocketing there, so I decided to be proactive and get this purse. This was one smart purchase!! This purse is sturdy and holds so much! I put a GoPro with a grip, a portable battery for my iPhone, a wifi hotspot in it and I still had room for more! The clips used to secure the zippers is brilliant. It is comfortable and nice-looking, and the way it is designed with two zippered pouches outside, and one inside is great. Nothing can replace being aware of your surroundings; in a crowded place like Rome you can't help but be bumped and get pickpocketed, but this purse gave me the confidence I would not be a victim. This is now my go-to travel purse.

As an avid traveler I was excited about the anti-theft aspects of the bag and that it was the right size. I have used it for TWO days in Budapest (and so annoyed, I'm writing a review from there), this bag has begun to rip at the seams. I read other reviews that mentioned it, but didn't believe them and ordered it anyway. I'm disappointed and frustrated that I will be stuck with this bag until the end of my 3 week trip...

Travelon Bags and purses in my opinion are wonderful. I hear so much about purses being stolen. You don't have to worry about this one! You can separate the strap from the bag, hook it around a chair, Grocery Cart, etc. so if a would be thief comes along, they won't get too far. The strap drop, I would say, is between 27"- 30".All Anti-theft bags also have a buildt in wire mesh system in the fabric of the bag so heaven forbid if a knife is used, the contents of the bag won't fall out. All zippers can be locked except for the one on the back which is against your body and not a problem for me.There are Credit Card slots and a pocket for your Passport inside the main compartment that are RFID protected.TravelonThere is also a place for your keys, and a little flashlight inside the bag.

This is an order from my husband's Amazon account. I had a hard time deciding which Travelon purse to get for a trip, and this was my 2nd choice. When my 1st choice was sold out, I ordered this one and have been VERY HAPPY with this purchase! Its light, has ample compartments without looking too bulky. You can choose which zippers to lock, and it was helpful during tours and dinners out to be able to lock the purse handle around a table or rail, etc. I'm petite, and the proportions of this purse were perfect! My friends had a harder time rifling thru their backpacks and purses, while this Travelon purse easily fit my needs, and could hold a small water bottle. I chose to get a small-ish stainless steel bottle with a carabiner attached to this. Even after my trip, I still continue to use this, and retired my designer leather purse for now. Its great for local sightseeing and easy to be handsfree, or to convert from crossbody to shoulder purse. As a shoulder purse, I can even take one of the locking zippers and attache to my jeans belt for extra security. LOVE Travelon, will purchase again!

This bag was exactly what I was looking for after having another travel purse slashed in Holland recently. Fortunately, they got nothing due to the lining. This new bag made me feel very secure on a recent trip to Russia where they constantly reminded you to be vigilant for pickpockets. Of course, you need to be dutiful in hooking up the zipper pulls to the rings provided otherwise you kind of defeat the purpose. Very pleased with this purchase, and do not expect to be buying any other travel purses.

I used it when I travel to keep all important documents and money inside, like a big wallet.Also, there is space for the phone and earplugs.I prefer a bag small that I can put it inside my jacket and keep it in front of me in airports, subways, and public places to avoid pickpockets.This is a nice bag and light. It worked really well for me.I keep the heavy stuff like a water bottle and my heavy camera in a backpack.

I used this as my day bag during five days touring Rome and it exceeded my expectations. It felt lightweight regardless of what I had stuffed inside (and actually holds more than you would think). The strap is durable but soft and I could barely feel it, even though I am easily annoyed by straps. The strap is easily adjustable to fit precisely where you want it. Great purchase.

Once again we got exactly what was advertised. This bag is actually a bit bigger than I expected. The design with all of the secure features is exactly what we were looking for to protect our valuables. Not only will this bag serve its intended purpose on our trip but will also work at home as a very convenient and secure way to protect credit cards and other RFID ID cards while shopping in local malls etc. where the threat of identity theft is increasing.

I bought this purse for my month-long travel to Europe. I am very happy with this purchase. The bag itself was a good size and it actually held quite a bit of items. I like that the zippers clip close for extra security and that the straps and the bag is 'slash proof'. I didn't have any problems with pick-pockets or anything like that during my travels and this purse was very versatile. It matched pretty much every outfit that I had and it was comfortable and durable to carry around. I highly recommend getting this purse if you're planning to go out on excursions and wants something with security that can also hold your important items.

I really like this bag. I was looking for something specific ro carry my 10.3" Boox Note Pro eReader in. This bag just barely does the job. With out the case on my eReader snugly. But with the very thin flip cover on the eReader it is a very tight fit. I am hoping that the bag softens a bit with time and stretch just a 1/4" or so. My wife liked it enough to buy herself one. Given the number of devices that are 10.2 to 10.7' inches...without a cover. Maybe there could be a version of this bag that is an inch or two deeper. :) *** follow up after a month of use traveling. I LOVE THIS BAG. The fit to my eReader has improved with use and my passport feels very secure. I am now shopping for a bluetooth tracker that I can leave inside the bag to help me not leave it at a cafe :)

I bought this for travel with hopes I could use it for travel and 'everyday'. As well as all the Anti Theft features, It IS very light weight - so, without my phone in it, I have to use it as 'cross body' or I think I could lose it and not know. I think it is perfect for our travel needs and I like the way that it tucks in under my backpack for airports and the option of carrying it like a handbag. For everyday use, it holds everything I need except it's tight to include an eyeglass case and impossible with a hairbrush. I like the zippered pockets on the outside and zippered pocket and all the 'slots' on the inside. Overall, if you are a minimalist or want something small for travel to complement your backpack, this is a lightweight option. I would choose black for everyday but something colored for travel so you can always see it.

I searched for AGES on the perfect little everyday bag.Price was no object for me and this is what I choose .Bonus it has travel security features .The only thing that annoys me is the cross body strap it almost always needs straightening out once you pop it over your shoulder . Wish it DIDNT have the swivel clip on one end . But still itâs fabulous in every other way so although itâs annoying about the strap ( slight adjustment when you put it on)I still would buy it again and recommend it . I found a super slim compact umbrella by a UK well know umbrella company that fits in it too .. perfectly ! Being not too thick it feels lightweight . The large open pocket doesnât fit an iPhone X well in it . Itâs not as deep as I thought . So I keep my glasses in that easy to reach pocket . The phone actually just sits at the bottom of the bag. I would give it a 9.5/10November ..2019... UPDATE.. still love this bag and ordered one for a friend who adores it too.So to rectify the swivelling of the crossbody strap my husband jammed the smallest bit of thin wire in the swivel part of the clip .Yeah ! It isnât annoying anymore adjusting the strap. Hopefully Travelon will read this and rethink that swivel clip . Whatâs it for any ?!?!If your looking for a cute ,lightweight,very functional,crossbody bag this is it !

I bought this for a short break in Barcelona, which is notorious for pickpockets. The bag is big enough, easily carried credit cards, cash, glasses etc. I esp liked the way the zips link onto a ring so that a thief trying to unzip the pockets is going to have problems. And the fact that cards can't be skimmed through the bag. Great product. And fast post from the US to UK - better than expected.

This is my third Travelon and as I expected it is of good quality and has all the anti theft features you would expect from Travelon. I can go out knowing everything is secure. I use this bag every day

Love using this every day. It's sturdy and well made, yet light weight. Wearing it cross-body style I don't have to set my purse down in the grocery cart, which greatly reduces the risk of theft while shopping. It's comfortable and looks good. Great for "hands free" carrying of wallet, lip balm and phone.

Used this purse for a 3 week trip to Europe and loved it! Great size (you can stuff a surprising amount in there if needed) and the zipper locks left me feeling safe and secure. Never used a money belt once! I will never travel without it.

This bag is great for going under or over your clothes when travelling. After being pickpocketted in Italy I need to feel secure. This bag made me feel safe and secure in my last trip.

Got this for a trip to Europe. The colour is more grey and I wasn't sure about size, but it was perfect! Neutral colour went with everything and size was just right. Lots of room, liked the zippered pockets and the locks. Felt very secure, no problem with pickpockets anywhere though. Travelled Spain, France and Italy. Not the most fashionable and may have not been necessary but I felt comfortable and secure.Also wore around my waist, looked great!Highly recommend.
