Fits well, good quality

I've been looking around trying to find a shorter slip without a slit in the side, and it's been pretty much impossible to find one in stores. I found this and figured I'd give it a try. It fits well and seems like it's very good quality. I saw a few reviews about it being fitted like a pencil skirt, and I'm guessing that those reviewers probably ordered a few sizes too small. I'm a curvy girl on the bottom but I have a small waist, and I ordered the 20" slip in the medium. I wouldn't call this slip "pencil-tight" by any means, but it's not exactly huge either. I think the photographs do it justice. It does have some stretch throughout the slip part (in addition to the waist), so you can definitely move around in it. It's very comfortable and perfect for my needs.

Let's face it, I'm older. Otherwise, how would I know about slips. Is this the same as the older models? No, but it's pretty close. The waist does not have a lot of give if your looking for a lot of stretch, but it does stretch. I bought a large and I wear a size 10 in most things. It would fit a size 12 also. It does fit close but not pencil skirt close. The material and lace are very nice and a good weight. All of the seams are done well and the waist is covered elastic. I would recommend this if you need a nice slip. Washes and dries nicely.

I had a short black slip and I had a longer black slip but I needed something in between. This half slip was just the length I needed. It came nicely folded on a hanger in a plastic package. It did have a chemically smell but it came out with the first wash. The material is a little stiff at first, but I think it will loosen up after a few washes. I'd rather have a slip with some weight than one that is too thin and clingy so that it rides up all the time.

Needed a new black half slip to replace a real oldie but goodie. I looked at several here on Amazon before deciding upon this one. I am 5'5" and wear a size 6 dress. I bought the medium and i'm glad I did. A small would have been too tight around the waist. The 24" length falls right in the middle of my knee cap. It's one solid piece of fabric and no slits or walking vents. It was delivered on a small plastic hanger and folded nicely in a plastic bag. The slip is perfect - exactly what I hoped it would be!

I ordered this after reading the reviews on sizing. Iâm a size 8 and went with the large but probably could have gone with the medium. I got the slip in white to wear under a light pink dress and it works very nicely. The slip doesnât show through and you donât see the waistband through the dress either. Iâm happy with the material which doesnât itch or irritate my skin. Was packaged nicely and got to me on time.

Ok so just perfect at twenty inches and it is definitely a line! True to size! I had to send last one back way too short and this will work great. Seems to be a much better quality then the one I received two days ago and sent back. It came on a nice hanger and better material! Too hard to find slips in stores anymore and besides having to send short one back seamless transaction! The only issue is Amazon delivered to wrong apartment and luckily I was monitoring this and found it in front of neighbors door. Different apartment and name and this was a careless mistake by Amazon delivery.
Choice of fit worked for me.

Wanted a black half slip above knee length. Based on current slips I own, I ordered a XXL (2X). Gulp! It is a little loose at waist and hip, but better too loose than too tight. For reference, I usually wear a 14, depending on clothing brands and am 5'4". This slip was a good choice.

Ok. This slip is a little long for short girls like me but I wear my skirts longer cause I am old so itâll do. It is also a little tight in the elastic waist (and I ordered up.. ) but thatâs ok. It is very thin so itâs good for summer but itâs not rich or classy looking so I think the price was a little high but thatâs ok, too. In summary - itâs ok.
