I have been looking for a professional laptop bag for my monstrosity of a laptop. I know there are smaller screens out there. I like being able to see my work, I'll stick with my 17 inch laptop thank you. I was hopeful when every review swore this would fit a 17 inch laptop. Lies, all lies. If by fitting a 17" laptop you mean having to cut the zipper off and have literally no room for anything else, then yeah, sure I guess that's true. You can see in the photo how having the zipper on there limited the last 1/2" I needed to man-handle the laptop to fit into this bag. This is a fantastic bag otherwise, seems like great craftsmanship and quality, just incredibly disappointed that it's not a little bigger.
Great Value, Good Looking Tote For Larger Laptops (It DOES Fit a 17.3" Laptop)

I had been looking for a laptop tote large enough to hold my 17.3" Lenovo laptop when I stumbled upon this one (Before I was carrying a heavy, bulky laptop backpack.). It has a very nice, streamlined look, came in several cool colors and was a GREAT price. But, I was on the fence about buying it because so many of the reviews mentioned that the bag didn't really hold a 17" laptop. But, I took a chance on it and was pleasantly surprised to find that it DOES hold my 17.3" laptop. It IS a bit of a snug fit, but it fits in the padded laptop section of the bag and I can even zip up the bag's top zipper (I think some reviewers may have actually tried to fit their laptops in the smaller, un-padded second zippered area located in the middle of the bag. But, that area is not designed to hold the laptop. The padded area -- with the velcro-ed top closure tab -- is where your laptop is supposed to go.). My only complaint is that I wish it had more interior pockets and that the gusset was a little wider. Nevertheless, I really love the look and quality of the bag. I've received several compliments on it since purchasing mine a few weeks ago. The price is so affordable, that I'm thinking about getting a second in black or gray.

I was hesitant to purchase this bag, given all the folks who indicate that it did not fit their 15-17 inch laptop, and I have a 17 inch Lenovo. It looked from the picture like it was going to be big enough so I thought I would try it out. There is a middle enclosed zippered section that the laptop will not fit into, and I think folks are trying to put the laptop here. This is not where (I believe) it goes. It goes in the wider section of the bag that is more padded, which once I slid my laptop there, it fit with room to spare. This is a very pretty bag and I am mega happy that I tried it out first instead of thinking that it would not fit.

I love this bag! My 17" laptop measures 16 1/2 by 11 when closed and it fits easily into the laptop pocket with a 1/2 inch to spare. It's a bit counter-intuitive, but the laptop does not go in the center, zippered pocket, as others have mentioned. The center pocket is too small because of the zipper. It goes in the section with the strap that velcros over it. The bag is big enough for power cord and mouse, plus wallet, phone and a few files or a slim notebook. You won't be able to carry your gym clothes. yoga mat and lunch in it though. I wanted a bag big enough for a large laptop yet not so huge it was like carrying a piece of luggage. They aren't easy to find. This one fits the bill because of it's slim design. Overall the bag seems extremely well made, especially at this price. It's certain nice enough to take to a business meeting. It seems like it is real leather. It certainly smells like leather. I'll be buying another one to carry during the summer months. I have the purple one and the color is true to what is shown.

This would have been a nice bag to have but it didn't even come close to fitting a 17" laptop. it would have been tight on a 15" laptop so the 17 couldn't go in at all. Returning today.
Torn after only 4 days light use - very disappointed

ETA: I decided to go the refund route and repurchase this bag. I ordered the purple this time (itâs a nice mauve/Soft lavender). This bag came in pristine condition. Iâve been using for a little over a week now and itâs holding up very well. I am going on a cross country trip next week, so will update again after Christmas to see how well it holds up through traveling.I am currently going through this warranty process, but Iâm upset. I ordered this on on 11/24 and got it in with no problem. It was packaged nicely and the look and feel of this bag is wonderful. I have been using this bag for exactly 4 days and I opened it yesterday morning to put in my laptop only to find that the lining is separating from the binding. I havenât even used that compartment yet. Up until yesterday, I had only been carrying my iPad, a small steno pad, a power cord and a few ink pens. This bag didnât break the bank, but it was way to expensive to be falling apart in less than a week.
Measure repeatedly and prepare to be disappointed.

Maybe part of the confusion is the stupid way laptops are measured. Mine is actually 17" wide (huge by today's standards, I know), not on the diagonal, and there is no way it will fit into this bag. I've been carrying it in a festive flamingo bag for a long time and thought this was going to solve my not-very-professional appearance but alas no. FYI the box this bag came packed in was itself exactly 17" wide, so you can guess that the bag inside such a box is smaller than that. Will be returning. Also, even though I would have kept if my computer fit inside, the brown color bag I got did not look like leather, more like the "I'm trying to look like leather but not quite making it" brown.

I love this bag! I shopped over a year for a large black tote bag that I could comfortably carry over my shoulder while going to work; meetings; church, etc. Perfect! I finally found the right size bag. I love everything about this bag such as the size, handles, zipper to keep contents safe, side zipper for keys, and 3 sections. Paperwork/folders fits nicely and plenty of room for phone, sunglasses, eye glasses and lipstick! Intend to purchase another bag.

Me gusto mucho el color. No es como la foto. Es comor rojo quemado. Buen tamaño para 14", sobra espacio. Los materiales so de buena calidad.

Excelente si eres de los que carga con muchas cosas a diario. Muy espaciosa. Si te gusta andar ligero, no te la recomiendo porque esta grande.
