I would say if you were even remotely considering getting pregnant- by buy this. Between the bellefit girdle 24 hours a day postpartum, combined with hip shrinkx during the day over the girdle, and the hip slimmer corset over the girdle (did I mention I had 2 bellefit girdles and alternated them q24H). Well I was a buck 95 at delivery, back down to 123 four months later thanks to diet and exercise. But no joke, diet and exercise can't fix the spreading of your hips thanks to relaxin (even though I had 2 c-sections) the hormone stays in your body for up to 8 weeks post partum (some reports say longer), so why not use it?!! my hips (at my skinniest) were always 35.5"; after this, they are now a small 34" (meaning I don't have to pull the measuring tape tight when I measure, lol). Would buy again in a sec if I were to get pregnant again.
so now all my pants fit better. Yay

This thing worked really well. I always had disproportionately wide hips, so my pants would either fit my legs or my waist or my hips, never all three. After I had a baby, and I used ShrinxHips, it really did make my hips narrower, so now all my pants fit better. Yay!
Did not work for me.

Maybe it would work if I could actually use it.You can barely walk or sit in it, and even if you do - it rides up quickly. Whether you wear it on or under your clothes it doesn't matter.Realistically, this can be only used when you sleep, and usually you don't get long sleep stretches during the first 8 weeks of your baby's life. And if you had a c-section - there's no way you can put it on before 3-4 weeks postpartum. This is a big stiff velcro that ends exactly where your incision is.
Don't waste your money

The band was very uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time. If you're up and walking around it's ok but if you try to sit it's not very comfortable. As a breastfeeding mom who is constantly sitting to nurse this wasn't feasible to wear for 12 hours a day. It also flattens your bottom and it's not very flattering to your figure so I would not wear it out of the house. All in all I would not spend the money again. I used a postpartum girdle that was very comfortable and gave me great results. If your going to spend the money invest in one of those instead.
Very happy with this product

This is a great product. It is industrial strength elastic inside a nice fabric casing. The double Velcro closure is ingenious. I like how this is very quick and easy to take on and off (unlike the hipslimmer). An added bonus is that it works to press in your postpartum FUPA. I haven't been measuring my hips much but I can see that the band is closing smaller and smaller as the days go by.I have worn in a few times in public. It is most comfortable if you are standing or laying flat but I have worn it sitting and driving too. People who say it is riding up are not placing it low enough. Mine has a grippy silicone strip on the inside which prevents ride up. Out of all the pregnancy and post partum contraptions I have bought I think this is one of the best designed.
Falling Apart

I was very excited to use this belt after my c-section. I followed sizing guidelines when ordering and made sure I was wearing the belt correctly. After 2 days of use some of the Velcro has already started coming unstitched from the belt. It fits well and I actually really like wearing it, as it makes my hips feel better. I'm just not sure how durable it is, or if it will last for the next 6 weeks.
Not for women with pelvic prolapse
Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2020
Iâm sure the product works as designed but mamas, please check with your healthcare provider when using this (as one should whenever using semi-medical products). I didnât realize I had pelvic prolapse after giving birth and squeezing my hips increased the internal pressure, resulting in worsening of my condition. It is a stiff (as opposed to stretchy) material and seems sturdy and well made, so I can see how it could be efficient in bringing the pelvic bones back closer together on mamas without prolapse issues. So the lesson is if you feel any discomfort, discontinue use, as per the included instructions, and donât be overly eager to shrink back!
Doesnât really work

After 2 weeks of use I canât get it right anymore. The elastic has given out and my hips havenât budged. If this product did what it said it did I would have been an ideal candidate. I had so much relaxin in my body I had issues with dislocating joints. I really bought this because I thought it would to help stabilize my hips when walking. It has some what helped with that but they arenât any smaller. Maybe it would work if the elastic hadnât given out and I could make it tighter.

I wore this after my second pregnancy, and ended up with hips 1" smaller than before I ever had children. A miracle product, highly recommended.

I do not know if this product works or not. All I know is that after using it I donât really see a difference. I would wear it during the day and when going to sleep. It kept riding up which was very uncomfortable.
