These garters are very well and strongly stitched. I stretched them to their max limit, and there was no tearing or breaking of the stitches. They also have this little bit of silicon material, I think? That definitely helps from keeping it to slide down!I would say at their max stretch for this particular two piece set, they would fit up to a size US 8 women's pant leg. Any larger and you may have to size up.(additionally, they also make a cute headband, as my daughter has taken off with them to do exactly that! ;] )

Well, I absolutely loved these when I got them...then came wedding day. They fit as described, but I put them on and in the middle of taking pictures I felt one pop!! So, I reached up my dress, grabbed it & my husband put it in his pocket. Soon after the other one popped off! Luckily, I had a sewing kit in our bridal suite & we sewed them back together before the reception. THESE ARE BARELY HELD TOGETHER BY A SMALL AMOUNT OF GLUE! If you must get them, go ahead and sew them together at the elastic before bothering to wear them. I donât have super thick thighs. Just regular ole legs and they werenât hiked up to my crotch either. I hate they werenât sturdier. It was definitely a little nerve-racking to have my husband toss that flimsy little garter you his single friends.They are cute...just a nuisance. The last thing you need is something breaking on your wedding day.

Beware of sizing

Fit very tight with correct measuring of calf. The elastic part is uncomfortable & takes up half of the garter. It looks pretty but again, half the garter is the elastic garter. Nice packaging but disappointed in making of the set. Shouldn't be too surprised given the price. Ended up ordering another set from bed bath & beyond.
