These are fabulous. As a woman on the bigger side I've always struggled with thigh chaffing. These not only solve the chaffing problem that the hot humid DC summers bring, but they also make me feel better about my body. I'm 5'3" and 160 lbs (but very bottom heavy). I bought size 3 and they are the perfect balance of comfortable and help hold everything in. I also bought the style that goes all the way up to the breasts. I prefer these better. The waist comes up enough to smooth things over but not bunch and roll in strange places. I will be buying more very soon.

I was pleasantly surprised with these. Based on the other reviews, I wasn't expecting much support. These certainly sucked me in and gave me a very smooth (and cellulite free!!) silhouette. They were quite small though. I'm 5'2", 120lbs and usually wear about a size 2, and I had to do some jumps and wiggles and squats and readjusting to get these on. They might be my new favorite under skirt spanx though!
Don't work for thunder-thighs.....

These are a nice idea and likely work for woman who are not well endowed in both the seat and thighs. Sadly, this is not my lot in life and these did not work for me.More 'half pantyhose' than actual shapewear, they are made from multiple layers of nylon, so they actually look like a pair of pantyhose that have been reinforced several times and then chopped off mid-thigh. I managed to get the size 5 up to mid-bum and while the leg opening looked like it would work, the kindergarten crotch with the sewn cotton gusset would not have worked in a million years. I tried looking for a larger size (7) which they apparently make, but had no luck. This tells me that many women end up buying larger just to get them to fit which isn't a big issue, it just means that they are not met for some woman's bodies, i.e: those that are larger in bum, hips and thighs.

These are the best. I'm 5'8" & 145 lbs and prefer the size 2. I just cannot abide thong underwear so I wear these to work every day. I believe the world would be a better place if people banished their unnecessary bulges with this shape wear. I'm not saying we should deny our natural shapes and strive to look the same. I'm saying allegedly "no show" panties cut into my generous thighs and make each look strung up like a Christmas ham. I'm saying thong underwear can't even look my buns in the eye. I can put these on and forget about them. I'm comfortable, my clothes fit correctly, and that makes me more confident and I want everyone to feel that way!I've tried the best selling Maidenform shorts but they're not for me. I find the fabric too thin and too forgiving while the waistband is strangely tight. These are like thick, two layer tights but they're not uncomfortable. As long as you put the waistband and your natural waist you won't get muffin top. The only drawback is that I get some drag when I wear them with skirts that have cotton or cotton blend lining.Assets forever!

I have been wearing ASSETS by Sara Blakeley for years and this is the first time I have received poor quality merchandise. I ordered according to the size chart and the waist is about 2 inch's total before putting them on. I purchased 2 pair and due to being completely satisfied with everything else with this label, I immediately opened both pair and handwashed them before wearing. The first time I wore them they tore in the panty area. They roll down on the waist and roll up on the legs. I do not suggest buying these unless you plan on wearing them one time being completely uncomfortable and then throw them in the garage due to them falling apart.Deidre Smith

Very cheap material, didn't hold me in as well as other products (and its not like I have an overabundance of flabby bits to begin with) and the top seam ripped on the 2nd wearing.A total waste of money and a disappointing Spanx product....Or maybe I got a cheap Chinese knockoff and the actual product in stores works well? I don't know, I can't tell, but Amazon sure does like to send a lot of bootleg cheaply made Chinese knockoffs these days, so who knows.

these are poor quality imitation "assets". all they are are two layers of sheer (think pantyhose) nylon together.they are not the same assets i've bought in stores for years. a total waste of money.

Not giving 5 stars because the fit is off. I bought 3 pairs of the nude and they all fit me differently. I expect that clothing, especially undergarments should have some sort of uniformity to them and these donât. they do however serve the purpose that I bought them for and are all relatively comfortable without being overly constricting and they are lighter weight than others that I have tried so I will likely buy this brand again.
