This bra changed my life. Well, actually getting professionally fitted AND buying this bra changed my life. Was going on the job market and decided to get a professional bra fitting at Nordstrom's before buying any interview clothes. Holy cow! I had been wearing too big a band and too small a cup for years. I am very big breasted, and chose this bra because putting it on (correctly sized) suddenly made me feel really comfortable. The band was in contact with my chest all around, the cups fit, and the straps did not dig or gap. The straps are wider, which helps a lot. It feels like more bra than I had been wearing, but once on, I forget I'm wearing it. That hasn't happened in years! It also makes my clothes look better, I don't look so matronly, buttoned shirts do not gap, my neck and shoulders don't hurt, and I'm not fidgeting with it all day. It also launders well. I do machine wash it on gentle and hang it to dry. I've bought 6 or 7 of them over the last couple of years and they are worth every penny. They hold up really well. I STRONGLY encourage women who are big chested to get a professional fit and invest in a high quality bra like this one. You won't believe the difference.

Several years ago someone mentioned to me (probably because my boobs were hanging low) that you can professionally be fitted for a bra. I was like, what? You want me to go see a stranger who will 1) see me naked, 2) touch my boobs and 3) look me in the eyes while doing #1 and #2?? No. Freakin. Way. But then she said, "I know, it will seem awkward but they are women, and they do this for a living". I thought, "what the heck". I'll give it a shot. I knew I needed SOMETHING! Enter Wacoal Women's Awareness Underwire Bra. Ladies, there is nothing like it! All my life I have been shoving these girls in a 36DD because I thought that's what I wore. Turns out, I'm a 34G and proud of it (now). This bra fits PERFECT. It has the best support ever! If you're used to paying $10 - $20 for a bra at Wal-Mart, STOP IT! Stop it now. Go get fitted (professionally) and INSIST on this bra. I will never, and I mean NEVER buy another bra but this one. I feel 10 years younger thanks to this bra. It's amazing. Now remove those other ones from your cart and put this one it. You will NOT be disappointed.

This is the bra that we were trained as bra fitters at Macy's. Anytime someone comes in for a sizing this is the bra that would be used to determine your size. So it's very true to size. I am a 36 DDD 177lbs and I really appreciate the wide and cushioned straps. Most women need to go down a band size and go up a cup size. If needed you can also try swing sizing: a 36ddd is a 34g or a 38c is a 36d. All lift in bras comes from the band not the straps My super comfy every day bra is the nonwire version of this bra. #85276
Sizing and quality

I have purchased wacoal bras for years. The ones I bought 1 month ago are ridiculously small around the rib cage and the fabric is puckering. I wash them gently and air dry them. They cannot be worn! The wacoal bras I bought in major department stores are 5+ years old and except for minor fraying still fit and perform to perfection. Does amazon sell rejected, non-approved for market items? In this case I believe yes! Iâm so disappointed.

I have bought these bras for many years in various sizes. I ordered 4 new bras in the same size I currently have and they were way too small. (Both tags say the identical size) As you can see in the pictures the band is about 3 inches shorter in the new bra and the front underwire is about 1/2 â taller.

I really like the support I get from this bra. I gave it three stars because one important feature is flawed. But first here's what I like about it: 1)I have a rather large chest and I prefer a bra with good support without looking unnatural, this bra looks GOOD on. 2)The materials is not too thin and it is really soft. 3)the cups do not come with a lot of padding and that's something I prefer. 4)The bra looks really nice under a t-shirt even though they don't call it a "t-shirt bra". I would order a second one however, the wide part of the strap that's supposed to rest at the top of the shoulders falls IN FRONT of my shoulders and I donât have a long torso. ..go figure. Makes me wonder if this was a second and is being sold for full price.
Way too small

I was so disappointed with this bra. I ordered a size 42DD, and it was extremely small. I measured it from one closure to the other along where it would sit on the rib cage and it was 31". Crazy!!!

I originally purchased this bra through amazon but had to return as it was too small (32D). The size I ended up needing (32DD) was cheaper at the bay, so I repurchased there. This bra is amazing though. The band is very very sturdy, so if you normally wear very loose/stretchy bands size up, this band doesn't have much stretch. I like that though as it gives the bra some longevity. The straps are very supportive and comfortable, and the cups are glorious. They're lined with an incredibly soft fabric so there are no seams or rough edges along the underwire. This bra is by far the most comfortable bra i've ever worn. It gives a nice shape, however things will still poke through (if you know what i mean), so be aware of that. My only complaint is that the cups are a little too full-coverage in the sense that this bra won't work with a lot of low/ish necklines. All-in-all it's an amazing bra and i'll be keeping an eye out for similar styles!

Best bra ever. Great for t-shits or loose fitting tops where the bra straps show. This bra has really pretty straps. I am a 36DDD and this bra holds everything in place so incredibly comfortably. The only other bra that I like just as much is the Wacoal 855192 Basic Beauty underwire bra, which is more utilitarian. Whoever designed these two bras is an absolute genius.

I've owned Wacoal bras in the past but haven't bought one in years. Because of shoulder pain radiating down my arm, I thought a good bra with cushioned straps might help. Initially the band was a bit snug. I had become accustomed to wearing little more than tanks because my shoulder just couldn't take the pressure of a regular bra pulling down and into my muscle and nerves. But this was almost like wearing nothing. Over a few weeks wear the band has stretched nicely to fit me comfortably. I WILL buy another one.Comfort: wonderful. The support from the band and underwire is so good I can put a finger under the strap and not feel an ounce of pressure digging into my shoulder.Look: It's not the sexiest bra out there.Flattering: Gives just enough lift.

This is a great brand for all the bigger melon' ladies out there. You know who we are :) I wear a 38H and this bra is one of the more affordable ones for a size like that. It fits comfortably, and supports quite well :)
