I was so nervous about the sizing on this that I also ordered a different brand "back up". What made me go for it, even though I usually avoid all Asian clothes based on me being a bigger girl, were the great reviews. I too cracked up when I saw it because I thought no way is this fitting me. I'm 5'2 160 lbs. It was a fight to get it on. So the shorts pull up and there is a hook and eye corset enclosure for the tummy part (kind of like a wrap around). I start hooking from the bottom and reach a spot where I can go no further. I start hooking from the top, again a roadblock (fat block? Lol) so I lay down hook a few more.... Now for the hysterics. I'm laughing so hard because there is this little bubble of fat hanging out. I am laughing so hard my husbands come to see if something is wrong. Now he is laughing so hard he says "well at least you know how much you have to lose" we are uncontrollable at this point. I fight the good fight to get a few more hooks hooked and let me tell you. When I stood up everything was distributed evenly! Not one roll or indent... And to boot it was totally comfortable. The potty hole was so big that my husband thought I tore it (more hysterics) after explaining he was quite impressed. I have to say you can wear this all day in comfort and it gives enough for you to sit, move and eat! I have a sensitive stomach (after 3 kids) so I really don't like being compressed. This is not like that it just distributes. It definitely made me look at least 10lbs lighter without those lines that give away the fact that you are wearing shape wear. I really can't believe how well this works. I don't believe in reviewing anything that isn't great, so there you have it. I will say I have not tried it with my dress yet or worn it more than a few minutes, but I can already tell it does the trick. Good luck and don't hesitate to give this a try. I did go 1 size up and although these are supposed to be tight I don't believe it was too tight to stand or that a bigger size would have worked better.

First off, there are many other shapewear brands that sell a bodysuit like this one on amazon but I decided to go with Shymay because unlike the other shapewear which had 20-30% spandex and the rest nylon this one was made out of 37.6% spandex and the rest nylon which is where the real quality is at. When it arrived I pat myself in the back because it truly is made mostly of comfortable, durable feelin', stretchy spandex and the rest of it is sexy nylon to give you that lovely edge. Second, I was between a Medium (8-10) and a Large and had to go with medium because my jean size is 11 and I get that size so its a little loose (gotta wear a belt all the time) and not squeezing out my muffin top. When I tried it on I was totally happy that it had a tight fit! I can only hook the first set of hooks but I'm sure with time it might stretch out or i might get slimmer (or not) so i have two more sets of hooks to hook it on.Now, to the review:I LOVE THIS BODYSUIT. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Love it so much that i'm at work writing this review because I can't wait to shout out to the world how comfortable it is and how sexy it makes me look even with scrubs on. I bend, squat, stretch, reach, and walk all the time at work and this shapewear gives me some back support and lets me do all these things without interfering or being uncomfortable or sliding down my tubby waist...And the thighs.... I have some thunder thighs and the nylon trim at the bottom makes it so that it's not squeezing or leaving a mark on my legs where the shaper ends. It's pretty smooth and you can't even tell I have it on. And going to the bathroom? super easy with the opening at the bottom and the best part is that it gave me a thigh gap (gasp!) crazy right?overall, great quality, great price, great product, great everything!!!

Wow, this thing is fantastic! I'm 5'7", 215 lbs and carry a lot of weight in my tummy. I've had two C-sections, so I have this roll at the bottom of my tummy that I just can't seem to hide, no matter what shape wear I try on. I was so pleasantly surprised when this one did the trick! I love it!

This is beautiful. If you are a mom that can't afford a tummy tuck (yet), this is the next best thing! I've tried every kind of waist cincher, they all roll up or down on me, or pinch painfully. This holds in my loose tummy skin with no problems.
Takes a bit to put on but 100% works as it should!

Ok so when I wear this it's a bit of a chore to get it on, but once it's on, it is awesome!I have several of the just top corsets and they can eventually ride up a bit and I always seem to be somewhere public when I have to readjust it! With this that problem doesn't exist!I've never had an issue with the size of my thighs though I kinda found myself pleased with the way it made some of my pants look while wearing it (Note: the bottom part is a bit long so this won't work with short shorts)Yes it does have the open crotch which took a while to get comfortable with however with all the work it takes to get it on I'm so thankful for it now! It makes a trip to the restroom easy instead of the super Olympic event it would be if it wasn't open and it had to be fully removed each bathroom trip like some other ones do.Oh and the chest part! Where to begin.... it takes and lifts my chest perfectly so not only do I feel in shape I feel pretty damn sexy too and fin myself wearing some lower cut shirts to show of the wonderful clevage this creates! It's like it and my bra are the perfect pair for making me feel more comfortable with my body!So to wrap it up let's put it in aTldr- open crotch, great feature....pushes up the girls (super sexy) not good to wear with short shorts. Well worth the purchase and bit of hard work it takes to get it on!

Beautiful worth the money true to size. It lost a star for the gusset it is fixed would have been perfect if it had studs there.
