I keep seeing commercials for an expensive brand of these and I wanted to try them, but not at that price point. When these came up in my queue I grabbed them, and I'm glad I did. I have mixed feelings about these, but they are good to have in certain situations.The panties are not very cute or sexy. They're pretty darn utilitarian, and I like pretty undies, so that bums me out a bit. I wish I could get a bow on these or something...anything...to make them even passably cute. That being said, they do their job well. I can rest a bit more easily in a meeting or on a plane during "that time of the month" knowing that these offer some additional protection from leaks. This is indelicate, but I'm assuming you're a woman if you're reading this and I want to give the truth here, so I will "go there" and say that they also completely do away with any odor that accompanies that time of the month as well, especially on planes or other hot, small spacesââï¸. I wear leggings almost exclusively on planes, and I travel a lot, and I've noticed it before (not a lot, but we all know that smell), but I flew with these and it was nonexistent.They are cottony on the outside, with a thin but slightly stiffer lining that runs all the way up the front and back center. They're comfortable, though I made a mistake and ordered them too large. I will definitely size down next time. I have washed them on warm and dried them a few times, and they're still in good shape.This is a product that has been a long time coming, as we move from our younger days and periods to having babies and leaking when we laugh, and we just need some protection. They're not bulky like a panty liner. They're great, I just wish they could be great AND cute.(This is the most embarrassing review I've written, but I think it's need-to-know stuffâºï¸.

I got these in preparation for my next period. I already own another pair of period panties but wanted something not brief fit. I have PCOS so I have very heavy, irregular periods so I wanted something for the heavy days (as a backup with pads and tampons) or the days when I have no idea what's coming. I washed them and dried them on medium heat and they fit great, a bit tight but still fine (I'm a size 10).So here's my TMI story: Today at work I wasn't bleeding very heavy so I decided to take out my tampon (it was uncomfortable) while still having a overnight pad on because PCOS periods are tricky like that and minutes later I felt the dreaded butt leak. Still not bleeding heavy the bit of blood managed to go right outside the long overnight pad, these panties saved my scrubs while at work. I will continue to use these.

Ever since having my IUD removed, my period has come back heavier than I've ever experienced. After going through multiple tampons in a single night, I bought these and I will never go back! I dont know how, but they absorb really well and there is no odor like you have with a pad. I sleep so comfortably wearing just these underwear and there has never been a leak. If you're considering these, BUY THEM!
