Good for short (or short-waisted) people intending to wear vintage styles
Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2015
I bought a band size up and a cup size down as suggested. Had I bought my usual size it would *definitely* have been too small around. The cups are a tiny bit small, but not too bad. They are, however, just as pointy as other reviews suggest. For wear with vintage clothing ('30's-50's), this is close to ideal for the short and/or short-waisted, but would probably look funny under any but the baggiest of t-shirts. For average height or taller people, this might be too short in the waist to give the right look for close-fitting vintage styles. If you are about 5' this will probably come all the way down to your waist. If you are under 5', or under 5'1" and short-waisted, this will actually be too long. I'm 5'2" and short waisted. With the straps shortened all the way, I can just get away with wearing this. Halfway through the day, I had to pull it up in the back, because the boning in the back/sides started to rub on my backside and sides.
Sizing is odd but I have another Carnival recommendation....

Sizing way off and not comfortable rolls up a lot - Having said that, I recommend the Carnival Womens Full Figured Wide Strap Longline Bra - the only issues with this particular bra is that you will have to do a little sewing because the straps don't tighten up enough and order a band size up and a cup or two sizes down. They size these bra's unusually - but once you find the right fit they are the Full Figured Wide Strap Longline bra is very comfortable.
I LOVE this bra so much-I'm very short waisted and this ...

I LOVE this bra so much-I'm very short waisted and this hits right at my natural waist. This is the most comfortable longline bra I've ever worn. I love this for creating a true vintage shape under 30's and 40's clothes. I bought in white and now I need to get the black and the tan colors as well. This bra does wonders to create my perfect silhouette comfortably.
the 3/4 length is absolutely perfect for me
Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2016
This is an extremely well constructed bra, and as I have a short torso, the 3/4 length is absolutely perfect for me. It was a bit small, however, and I just didn't fancy the soft cups. If this had different cups, I would have returned for a better size, as the rest of it was perfect. If you are looking for a longline bra, that is shorter, and don't mind soft cups, this is definitely a bra to try out!
Perfect Band, Less Than Perfect Cups
Reviewed in the United States on January 10, 2019
The band and strap placement were perfect for me. Some other longline bras extend down past the waist, and thus are uncomfortable, but this was the perfect length. The spacing for the straps was great -- they don't rub the front of my shoulders, near my underarms, or my shoulder blades when moving (as wider set or thicker straps do) -- and being adjustable is a big plus. The cups however are less than perfect for me. I'm unsure if it's the style of the cup or the size of the cup. I ordered a 42D which seems to be my size in most bras. But the tips of the cups were very pointed and empty, regardless of stoop-scoop-swoop-ing. The cut of the cup seems to be like so:|\ /|Nearly straight out on the outside of the cups, with a ~45 degree angle towards the sternum. Not like I expected:/\/\There's also quite a bit of gore gape, but that seems to be expected with wire-free bras and larger breasts. I hope to exchange this bra for a 42C to see if a smaller cup will make a difference, though I expect it the smaller cup will just push my breasts together instead. We'll see.
Wonderful vintage bra!

I love the vintage look of this bra. As for size, I am a 38D at Aerie and got a 40D in this. The only issue is allllll the hooks.
Excellent replacement for Playtex Cross Your Heart
Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2016
I bought this for my mother who has struggled to find a replacement for the Playtex Cross Your Heart bra which is no longer available in Australia. The only replacement she could find in stores weren't made from the same elasticised material and didn't fit as well, so I suggested she let me find something on Amazon that might be better - and held my breath as she had never let me buy online for her before. Two weeks later, my mother was thrilled when her package arrived and found that the bras were made from the elasticised material she prefers with elastic straps (the Berlei ones that she had been shown in store as an alternative are made from non stretch cotton). The size guide is very accurate and apparently the non underwire cups are comfortable and exactly what she wanted. To make it even better, both bras, together with postage, cost the same as buying one bra here in store. Now it seems I'm going to be ordering a lot more of these for her friends who have also been looking for something like this.

The 'D' cup size was too large for me on this bra. The band size was OK. My usual size is a 'D' cup but this one I find too large. Would be nice if thecompany would send me a 'C' cup in this bra.

Hello,This bra arrived in good condition and on time. It was a bit on the small side, and I found that at this time I can't wear it because it is too hot here where I live, for me to be able to put it on and turn it around on me, so I will wait until the fall comes to wear it. I just can't slide it around on myself. Other than that I would order another, but I am thinking of ordering one that does up down the front because it might be much easier to put on. Thank you.C. D.

Good fit covers muffin top. 3/4 is for short waisted women. Cup size is larger. Also make sure you measure your chest including boobs so you get the proper fit.

Review by Susan , Great style and material for a retro longline bra, which is suppose to produce a 50s style silhouette. So if your not into that style, this isnât the bra for you. Carnival is a good brand I think and have already purchased another longline bra in a different style and color. However I will never buy from Her Room, a seller on Amazon, again.
