Unlike the photograph, the slip did not cover my knees. I am 5'9", and typically wear a size 16 (American). I carry my weight in my hips/legs, so I was disappointed when the slip came to about two inches above my knee. Also, even though I ordered a size XL, it was tight in a very unflattering way. The cut was such that it was tight around my hips/bum and yet bunchy at my waist, making for a bumpy look under clothing. For someone who is straight through the hip, this wouldn't be a problem, but as I am a pear shape, it was not good. On the positive note, the seller was quick to answer my request for a return.
Good product, just not the right color for me.

I ordered the small. I am 5'4" and if I wear it at my low waist (like the picture) it hits below my knee. It is a pretty lace, and looks like high quality. However, it was a little more pink that expected. I bought the light pink, but I needed a very pale blush color for a bridesmaid dress and this was just a little too pink, so I will be returning it for another one. However, if i ever need another one, I would probably look here first because it is pretty high quality for a dress extender.
A well made and very useful item for taller women.

Lovely slip. Better than the photograph. I was concerned that the lace might look inexpensive and shiny but it's beautiful. I think if you look at the photographs of the lighter colors this slip is offered in you will get a better idea of the quality and texture of the lace trim. I'm 5'9" and like wearing tunics over leggings but often find it hard to find tunics long enough. This is a perfect solution. Great for under mini-dresses as well to make them more work appropriate or age appropriate if you've tired of hearing people whisper as you go by, "Why in the world is that old lady wearing a miniskirt? It's ridiculous." Problem solved. Now they exclaim, "Look how elegant and hip that old broad looks in that laced trimmed frock!" Or at least they're thinking it.I was nervous to order a medium because of some recent weight gain but I'm in denial and cry when I order a large in anything. Fortunately the medium was generously sized.Don't hestitate; order it. High quality and useful.

I have several of these skirt extenders - Melody makes them- in a variety of colors. I was really excited to find a red one here since I could really use one in that color. This is very well made, but the color was just a little off- I'd describe it as more burgundy than a true red. Since it doesn't match the hue of the majority of my red items I will have to return. But I do highly recommend these slips, they're fantastic.EDIT: I also ordered the lavender and yellow slips. LOVE them. They are exactly as pictured, very nice quality and beautiful colors!

I ordered the âchampagneâ and it is a little more taupe, a little darker/greyer than the pic shows... A nice color still... It did not however match the dress I got it for so it will be going back. I thought about keeping it anyway because it is a very nice item. The fabric of the slip section has stretch to it! I am 5â6â 160lbs size 10-12, 33/42 waist/hips, took a chance and ordered a Medium. It fits fine actually except the waist band is a little tight.. just depends how tight you can tolerate, itâs very different for a lot of people..

I love this, where has this been all my life?! Now I can wear all my little skirts and dresses (that I usually only wear to the beach) anywhere! I'm 5ft 3in, 29inch waist and 36in at the hipbone, I got medium , and it fits well. Could have probably fit into a small but then it would be tighter at the bottom and wouldn't work so well with my a-line skirts/dresses, so this one is perfect for that.

I love it!!! I've got it after I bought a dress online that I fell in love with after the first glance and then, when it arrived, realized it was a bit too short for my taste. The dress is bluish-silver with a small white embroidery and this extender is perfect to wear underneath. It fits as expected, the color is more in between gray and silver and it arrived quickly. I've got a gray sweater that I plan on wearing with this extender when it gets colder. I'm pretty sure I'll find more uses for it over time. If you like layering like I do, even if you don't need a skirt/dress extender, get it and see where the combinations take you. For reference, I'm size S/M (depending what/where I'm buying) and this in medium fits great- little longer and looser (I could've probably got away with small) but I like it.
