This is my second Dakine bag and I love them both. I also have the Jo Jo, which is bigger. The Jive is if you want a small bag and truly don't carry a lot of stuff. You can fit a phone, wallet, keys and other small things, but you couldn't carry a small umbrella for example (but you could in the Jo Jo). The material it's made from is very sturdy, like a well-made backpack. I'm in love with all the colors and patterns that Dakine sells; I could see myself with a small collection of Dakine bags!

I absolutely LOVE this bag. I purchased the "Blue Lights" bag- the charcoal gray with the blue line across the top. It's modern, simplistic and minimalist rolled into one. Dakine has been a favorite bag company for me. I've used their 6.5L backpack as purse for a couple of years now. I recently decided I wanted something a lil smaller that I could just hop in the car without taking off - like I have to with the backpack. Between kids and rain and big winter jackets, I was just wanting something easier. This bag is perfect. It fits my cell phone, wallet, Lip gloss and a small pack of wipes without bulging. You could fit more if you didn't mind it bulging out on the sides. It has aa front pocket and inside zipper pocket. Perfect for a crossover purse. Very stylish!
Great bag, but Jackalope print/color disappointing

I ordered this bag in the Jackalope print and that's what my review is mostly for. I already had this bag in a different print and really liked it. It's on the small side but is perfect for when you just need to take your wallet, phone, keys and some odds and ends with you. I thought the Jackalope print was really funny and neat and when I saw the price go down on that pattern I decided to order it. I was really disappointed with the print in real life compared to how it looks online. Online it looks like it's a white/off-white background and a red zipper (and that's the case for all product pictures of this print I found online, not just on Amazon). In person the bag is much, much darker. The background of the print is very gray, and not a nice shade of gray in my opinion, but very dingy looking; it also makes the design/print of the animals stand out less, they kind of blend into that gray background. The contrast zipper is also much darker than pictured, it's more like a maroon/burgundy. The quality of the bag itself was just as good as the bag I already had, of course, so that's why I gave it 4 stars, but I was so disappointed with the color, especially because I really liked the quirky chimeric animals design. I returned it because the print was not what I expected or wanted at all.

Love Dakine brand. Have a wallet of theirs and wanted something to carry it, car keys, my galaxy s8+, and my kindle paperwhite with case.This bag fits all of these with a little room to spare.I'm not used to wearing a bag of any sort anymore, so the strap is slightly irksome at times, but overall this is a great little bag. Color is also very nice.

I bought this Dakine Jive Crossbody for my tween-age daughter. The pattern is subtle but interesting and the strap and actual bag are quiet sturdy. Even though she has tried to avoid purses of any kind and rely solely on pockets, she realized (after some resistance) that it would be handy to have a small purse in certain situations. This bag easily holds her iPhone 6Splus, a small water bottle, chap stick and small zip pouch for money. I think she'd have liked it to also be able to fit her sunglasses case, but it's not quiet big enough and she would balk at anything larger. All in all, a great quality, sporty-looking, compact crossbody.

Great bag for a few items

I really like this bag a lot except it's super stiff and the strap isn't as long as I would like it to be. I knew it was canvas before purchasing but man, it's really stiff! I'm hoping it'll soften up with time though. I like the size of this bag, it's small but big enough to throw a snack into if needed (I've got kids). I bought this bag mainly to use when I go to concerts or for an outting where I only need my phone wallet and glasses so over all I'm very happy with this product!

The jackelope print is too cool; I had to buy it. Have never seen anything like it....Other amazing creatures on it as well (a raccoon with a herring's head, griffon, etc) Wanted this purse for myself, but strap was too short for me. I knew this before ordering after reading reviews, and planned to give it to my mom if it was too short. Looks fine on her she is 5'5 and thin. I am 5'8 and not thin. Purse is a bit stiff and kind of small but would be good for a concert, vacation, etc where you just want your essentials. So many prints to choose from!!!!

This small cross body bag is about the size of a book. It is perfect for travelling with a cell phone, a wallet and change purse and a couple of other small needed things. The design is simple and the quality is good. The fabric is good quality. The strap is wide, and it's long enough for the purse to sit at or just below the waist if you want (or, as it's adjustable, higher up). The strap isn't padded but doesn't need to be as it's not heavy.The outside zip pocket is big enough for a cell phone. There is even an extra small zipped pocket on the inside of the main purse compartment, big enough for a wallet/transit pass etc..The only thing I didn't like much was the lining material, which is plastic, not fabric-- but even that is practical, if one gets caught in the rain. :) I might replace the plastic lining with fabric later, I like the bag itself so much.On the internet, it's often difficult to tell the quality of items like this. I really hesitated to buy it but needed a small bag for an event where I'll be wearing a dress with no pockets and don't want to take a big bag. This really is very well made and nice looking. I write few reviews-- mainly for things that are really awful as a warning, or for things that are really deserving of praise. This is a great little bag, especially for the price.

Schnelle Lieferung, angemessene Verpackung.Die Tasche wird aus recycelten Plastikflaschen hergestellt, was ich persönlich sehr toll finde! Das Muster ist nicht exakt wie im Produktbild, aber das kann ich beim reduzierten Preis von 12,90⬠wirklich verschmerzen.Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Ich habe eine Tasche gesucht, in die gerade mal mein Schlüssel, Portemonnaie und Smartphone reinpassen. Mit dieser Tasche habe ich die ideale GröÃe gefunden.Leider ist der Riemen verdreht angenäht, darum 1 Stern weniger.

Lieferung verlief ohne lange Wartezeiten. Eine süsse kleine tasche lässt sich gut tragen und sieht gut aus. Hätte sie mir ein kleines bisschen gröÃer gewünscht aber ansonsten nichts zu beanstanden.
