I bought this petticoat to go under a vintage dress I have recently purchased for a dance costume. The review were mixed, but I decided to size up. I ordered a large instead of a medium. I fits perfectly, I think the medium would have been to small. I wear about a size 6-10 and the large fit perfect. It hits right at my knee and I am 5'3. It was a great price and it added a lot of volume to my dress. The last photo I included is what the dress looks like without the petticoat, for fullness reference. It is made very well and is a value for its quality.

This is the first petticoat I've ever purchased, so I had no idea what to look for. My gosh, it was so poofy! First of all, the tulle starts right at the waistband, which made my slight frame look pretty chunky, and second of all, it goes straight out from there like a giant triangle, which made me look like a doll. Yikes. However, I needed it for an upcoming party, so I made do with what I had: first, I completely removed one of the two layers of tulle. Then, I took the second layer, pinned it about 5 inches down from the waistband, sewed it there, and cut off the top part of the tulle. So at the end of all this, there was half the tulle, which started about 5" down the slip. That is what the attached photo shows. At this point, I thought it looked pretty good. But it took a fair bit of adjustments to get there.I will also note that the slip was not very soft at all, but quite crinkly-feeling. The whole thing felt very cheap...but then again, it was.In short, this did in a pinch, but unless you are literally rail-thin, and you want to look like a poofy doll (I wanted to look like a woman from the 1950s), I'd try to look elsewhere.

Fits my natural waist. A little tight but doable. Im a size 14/16 so I was pleasantly suprised. Very full and sprung to it's full size right out of the box! Good skirt for beginner lolita or rockabilly looks. Nice ribbon trim on the hem.

I read the other reviews that said this ran small and they were super helpful. I bought this for my daughter for Halloween, she wears a 7/8 in girls I bought a small and it was just a tad loose but still fit. Perfect for her to grow into and continue to use for a long time. I wear a 0/2 in womenâs and it fits me as well.

If you want a super full petticoat, this IS the one! I loved the flare it gave to my pin-up wedding dress, however the lining around the waist just didn't sit right with my dress and bulged out. I was sad to have to return it because the length was great for me (I'm petite and 5 feet tall) and the poof factor was amazing.

Perfect perfect perfect! I ordered two other petticoats before, and each time was not happy with something, either length or something.You see, I need this vintage rockabilly look, so I was so desperate I even considered wearing two petticoats at once :/Thank god I found this petticoat! Fit as expected is an understatement! It fit impressively well! Iâm pretty large with a 38â waist and 47â hips, so having something like this fit is amazing! Itâs incredibly stretchy and comfy. It was also much stronger than I expected. When I pulled it out of the package it practically bloomed open instantly! I didnât think it would hold up my dresses so well, but it blew me away! It can even stand up on its own.
It's worth it, I think.

I'm 55, 245 pounds and I got the largest size. It's a bit long, but only because my dresses only go to knee or midthigh. It's decently fluffy. Perfectly so for my needs. And it's surprisingly comfortable and not itchy. It wasn't tight either and gave me more room than I needed, if I gain more weight, without being loose. Which is not what I expected. Expected to have tight lines in my skin.
