Good looking bag, a bit heavy

I like the bag overall. Sturdy stitching and canvas material, and it looks good. A few things to note (check out my photos):1. It does fit a 15" laptop, but the bag is not padded. So you might want to put your laptop inside a very thin sleeve as it is already kinda tight without a sleeve. Very roomy without a laptop, but once a laptop is inside, you can't really fit much.2. I wish they had used magnetic buttons for the two side pockets like they do for the main flap. I don't like having to unbuckle it just to get stuff in and out of the pockets.3. The shoulder strap pad is not adjustable, so sometimes when the strap doesn't sit correctly on my shoulder, it can hurt.4. The bag itself is already pretty heavy even when empty.

This bag is awesome! I love the quality and craftsmanship that has gone into making it just right. It is perfect to use for all of your everyday needs. I like to be prepared and have all sorts of A/V gear, 15" MacBook Pro, cables and honestly a lot more :) I would love to have this in every color and maybe I can make that happen once my family is financially stable. Unfortunately I have been unemployed for nearly a year now...and have a wife, 2 & 3 year old. So you can apparently see where me allegiance lies. I purchased this bag to take along to job interviews. I spent quite a while searching online for the perfect "man bag" replacement after my old Fossil bag finally gave out... a Christmas present for myself. I was looking for a combination of function (I use it to tote my computer back and forth to work daily) and styleâI was purposefully steering clear of fake leather straps (there are quite a few look-alikes out there, but this is an automatic no-go for me... they look cheap & often fail first). It got here quick (yeah, Prime!) and wow... what a great bag for the money. It easily holds my 15" MacBook which I keep in a separate and padded protective sleeve, and the leather detail looks (and smells) great. Couldn't be happierâthis is a sturdy, well-made bag with plenty of character. I expect it to wear well, and I'm currently considering adding another color to my collection. Bottom line: I'm a bag guy, and thisâis a great bag!

First off I'd like to say that I really want to love this bag but it is at a really like status. This is not a laptop bag. There are no extra padding but I do carry my Ipad and laptop but there are in their own padded cases. I use the side pockets to carry laptop power brick and extra cables and such. The main compartment is open with no division or extra pockets except for one small zippered pocket on the back of the bag. This pocket is only a little over 4 inches deep and 7 inches long. You can fit a few pens, phone, misc items. The quality of the canvas itself seems good along with most of the stitching. One thing I did notice is that the leather piece the strap fits thru on the top flap is only stitched to the bag by a single stitch in the middle (see picture) when stitches on both sides would have been better. Don't know how well this will hold up. The leather straps themselves are much thinner than I'd like. The strap is nice and wide and rather long. I'm a bigger guy and this strap is great length.The things I love about the bag are:-The color and leather accents; even though the leather straps could be thicker.-The overall classic look.-the strap.Things I don't like:-Possible quality issues down the road that I noted in the upper part of review.-Inner back zipper pocket needs to be bigger.

I don't think anyone would ever call this a man purse - it's too manly to even have the "purse" label attached to it. This is a satchel. It's a good sized satchel at that. The straps are sturdy, the magnetic clasps are a nice touch as well. Very spacious - I can fit my 17" laptop inside if I need to (although I wouldn't want to without padding - this isn't a laptop bag!)The pockets are plentiful and well thought out - with one (two actually) exception - the outer side pockets. They're perfect for dropping all sorts of things into - if you could actually do that without undoing the buckles and straps. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. One horrible design flaw, which you might be tempted to "fix" by just simply removing the straps...well, not a good idea, as then there's nothing holding your items in place. Perhaps removing the straps and running a patch of Velcro across the top would work, or some other fastener. I for one haven't tried anything yet - because I love the look and style of this piece as-is. I don't want to screw it up.Overall, this is a great satchel, the shoulder strap is long enough for it to hang right at my waist, the canvas has a great sturdy feel and makes it easy to just grab it anywhere to fling into the back seat when you're on the go. If they could fix the design flaw on the sides (Maybe a pair of magnetic clasps to hold the straps on like they have in the front? Hmm....light...bulb...) this would be a *perfect* bag.

I've been using this almost every day for just a few days short of a year and it's been great. At first glance, I didn't think it would protect very well against the rain, but it's been through a lot of it and never let in a drop as far as I can tell. I've got a pretty clunky 15.6" laptop which it holds nicely when I need it and it holds folders for A4 paper nicely. I think a 17.3" laptop would be pushing it though.Overall, I love the look of it and it's comfortable and sturdy, so there's no way I can fault it; it gets 5 stars.

Decent enough quality. Had one previously that lasted around a year before the zip broke and other minor damage to the buttons occurred. Replacement has held up well.

Exactly what I was looking for as an in-cabin bag for long haul flights. Really good quality with a nice soft liner and just the right size for my laptop, novel and bits & pieces.

It's nothing like in the Picture. The straps are black instead of brown. Did not like it as much as if it was the original color you showed in the advert.

A bit of a squeeze for my hp laptop and surprisingly heavy. It does, however have copious room in the main compartment with very useful side pockets.On the plus side it's very well made and stylish too.This particular bag is definitely a man's bag (my wife had staked a claim on it until she tried it exclaiming that it was too heavy even when empty!) - but that's all the better for me Ha! Ha!
