So I bought this to smooth the lower belly buldge for this clingy dress. I bought it in a medium and it was tight going on which I was happy about cause then you know its going to hold something in. Unfortuantly it made a new bulge under my bra. It would have been nice if it was longer in the torso. I might have liked to try a larger size but because there are no returns, which is good cause of the yuck factor, Im not shelling out another 30+. I wish wish wish I had used my thinking cap before and just tried a pair of support hose before buying this. Good old panty hose for $8 bucks and not a crease or indent. This says seamless but on mine there was a double stitch near the upper hip that just screamed "Look at me!". There is no stretching this item out to make it fit better. It does what it says if you get it in the right size. Im 135 5'6 a little curvy in the hips and a medium wasnt big enough. it pressed out my hip thickness (its not fat !) and made another buldge. I was starting to look like a tension ball that had just been squeezed. Im going to say that this just wasnt for me and take the hit to the purse. And on a side note, can they please stop using meatless models who dont need this !

I like that its tight around the sides but the front panel has absolutely NO HOLD! I bought these to help with my after baby pouch and it doesnt.

This shaper definitely provides support, but has a few flaws. If you pull it up high to control the upper abs, it is quite uncomfortable because the high cut of the garment sits right above the hip bone and itches/digs. But, if you don't pull it up super high, it just rolls down.

This is a waist shaper, NOT a tummy sucker-inner. It pulls in the sides of your waist making it look smaller from the front, but when you turn sideways your pooch still sticks out. This is because the striped side fabric is firm but the shiny white panel in front is not, so it does not suck you in. I wanted something that sucked my pooch in, so this did not work for me. I don't know who wants to look good from the front but not the side... Plus if you have a squishy butt/thighs this will push them out a lot, and makes your body look fake like Coco Ice-T's wife (not good!) People would be able to tell that this is not your normal shape, you look deformed. Also the fabric is very rough and the seams are big & bulky so its visible under thin/slinky fabric. And the thong? Its like that thing is made of sandpaper. I can't imagine wearing it for long without it chafing like crazy. I tried "my size" and a size down and none of the issues were fixed.UPDATE: the one from Victoria's secret is a lot better for only about $5 more. And you can try it on in store. The thong part is way comfortable.

I bought a pair of these panties last year for a wedding, and I was so satisfied I purchased another pair. It really gives a lot of tummy control WITHOUT rolling down. I am short-waisted, and I have a real problem with shape wear rolling down. I recommend this product. Much better than Spanx!!!

It does exactly what promised - holds the belly in and doesn't give you dreaded "panty lines". I am used to thongs, so that didn't bother me at all. It's probably not for everyday wear, but comfortable enough for a party or an event under a formfitting dress.

Be sure if you order, get a size smaller than what you wear. This does not have a lot of form-fitting ability. Very "satin-e". Should be more of a shaper than just a satin garment.
