Super cute but they are definitely booty shorts. If you are getting them for a costume, just beware that they show off a lot of your rear. But I love them because they do! Sometimes, you just want to show your booty! If you're looking for a similar pair with more coverage in the back, the Velvet Kittens are great but they have a bow in the back that sometimes doesn't look right with your outfit (depending on what it is and what it's for). The little bow on these in the front is very discreet and not really noticeable.

I bought these to wear under a pirate skirt (renaissance festival costume). They're great! I was worried that they would be kinda see through (i saw a few others while shopping that looked like they were), but the ruffles are close enough together to cover everything. They're soft and comfortable. They are also, VERY cheeky, so be aware that if you're wearing them alone, they're definitely not full coverage in the back.

nice soft ruffles. I liked that a lot, so many ruffled panties use crinoline and it can be chafing. But these are soft. the color was nice and the fit good.
