Awesome product for young girls! Gives my daughter (10 yrs old) the extra protection when at school. I wash them on gentle cycle and haven’t had any issues with them. Highly recommend!

Padding is in a weird location

I ordered up a size like the comments said and it fit well. One of the them came unstitched and the padding is weirdly located. The padding is all in the butt and barely reaches my pee hole which makes me feel like Imma just leak out the front of the underwear while on my period. I wasn't expecting a lot since it's so cheap, but I was at least expecting the padding to be by the area that is producing blood.

Lining starts in bad place

I have used period panties for 2 years now. I thought I was purchasing the same as I had before. This newer version has a lining that starts mid crotch rather than at the pubic bone where the previous did. Immediately leaked. Unfortunately, the first use was on day 31 so I am stuck with them. Also, the leg is a smaller circumference.

Fits as expected by the sizing guidelines...not by normal sizing standards.

Fits as expected by the sizing guidelines...not by normal sizing standards. I am 130lbs and usually a Med/Size 8 in shorts/jeans. In these, I fit into an XL, but am most comfortable in an XXL. These fit a bit higher than I usually like (nearer to waist than to hips) but they are SUPER comfortable and feel more like normal underwear than any other "period panties" I've tried on. I can really forget they're even there. As for functionality, these are pretty amazing. I use them for mild-moderate urinary incontinence, and have never once had any moisture make it through the cloth even when I've felt like it was a LOT. These are also a good deal more affordable than competing products. I only wish they came in other colors! :)

I've been using period panties plus a menstrual cup for years now. The period panties I had were good quality, but were a bit uncomfortable and had a thick elastic waistband that gave me the worst muffin top. I've been wanting to buy new panties for awhile now, but just couldn't justify spending another $50+ for panties when the ones I had were technically still functional. I saw these panties from HEROPIE, and at $18 for 5, I thought, "why not?" Well I am so glad that I did! These are much more comfortable and attractive than my old pairs, and I like that every pair is black. I like that 5 comes in a pack - that's more than enough to cover my heavy days and the few days before my period starts. I normally wear a large (5'4", 170 lbs), and find that the "tag = XL, size = L" size was perfect. I definitely appreciate that they updated their design so that the liner stretches out well past the pubic bone in the front now. I do wish that the liner itself was also black, but the material is easy enough to wash so it hasn't been a big deal.

I think every girls worst fear/nightmare is having your period being in school sitting in class for 40 minutes getting up when the bell rings and BOOM red stain on your pants then all the kids start laughing, taking pics and making fun of you. No girl should ever have to endure that. That fear is why I bought these for my daughter. She is ten and in fifth grade, she got her period at age 9 while in fourth grade (yea I know I was just as shocked). She gets very bad anxiety when she gets her period because she's affraid of leaking. Well these underwear help with her anxiety knowing that if she leaks through her pad, then the underwear absorb it, preventing spotting on her pants. These fit true to their size and my daughter says they are pretty comfortable. They hold up well to washing. I personally don't put them in the dryer, i lay them flat to dry.I definitely recommend these underwear. They should be in every young girls underwear drawer.
