My son has been asking for a weighted blanket. Iâve looked at many, read reviews on $200-$300 dollar blankets or more. Most had complaints, âthe beads fall to one sideâ, âthe cover slips offâ, âitâs not soft enoughâ, or âit smellsâ, etc,. Everyone had some complaint, so I was always hesitant to invest so much money into a blanket with issues. So, when this blanket came to my attention on sale for Christmas I read the reviews, and ordered the 20 pound blanket my son wanted and hoped for the best.It seems to be amazing and so far Iâm quite pleased and can highly recommend this blanket. There was a small hiccup, but nothing to stop me from recommending it.PROS: The minkey is soft and a beautiful vibrant deep blue, while the gray fleece is just as soft as well. The beads in the blanket itself are sewn in baffle boxes, meaning individual squares hold many box-pockets of beads covering the entire blanket to keep the beads distributed evenly keeping the beads and weight where it belongs on you not on your sides. I was completely amazed at the weight and quality of this blanket.There was no strange smells and the cover went on pretty quickly. It also sleeps pretty cool as well, my son hates to be hot when he sleeps. The zipper on the cover is sturdy and sewn in so itâs hidden in a seam making for a neat appearance and also so it doesn't stab/scratch you while you sleep.The only complaint I have is are the ties which attach to the loops on the blanket. I feel they could be a bit longer to help make a bow instead of double knotting for easier removal, yes due to weight the ties need to be double knotted or tied into a tight bow to keep the blanket attached to the cover.The hiccup I mentioned above? Unfortunately two of the ties on the cover were inadvertently sewn into the seams. So, instead of ties I ended had loops I had to cut free to be able to tie the cover ties to the loops on the blanket insert. I feel as if this may create an issue in the future as the ties are untied and re-tied for washing.All in all, itâs an amazing blanket and we are impressed. I would highly recommend this blanket.Oh, one last Con:: My son loves it and I canât get him out of bed anymore! Ha!
Best Blanket Ever!

I was going through a lot of stress in my life and it was definitely effecting my sleep. So I started to research weighted blankets and there are a lot of them out there, but I kept getting drawn back to this blanket. So I finally decided to order one. Now the decision was to decide whether to order a 15 or 20 lb blanket. Everyone kept telling me only order a 15 lb blanket but I kept thinking back on my childhood how I used to loved the weight of lots of blankets on me how that felt so comforting. So I decided to order the 20 lb blanket and I am so glad I did. I absolutely love this blanket! I sleep so much better at night and I fall to sleep within minutes of getting into bed. When I get into bed and crawl under this blanket I can actually feel the stress of the day just start to leave my body, it is such an amazing feeling. I feel so relaxed that I am able to fall to sleep so quickly. I would highly recommend this blanket to all my family and friends.

I really want to say I like the blanket, but itâs just sweltering. And I say that as a perpetually cold person. I do like the weight of it, and the outer cover is very soft, but itâs so hard to be comfortable and sleep well when you feel too hot. I canât imagine a person who runs hot being able to tolerate this if I canât. Iâm the person in the office with a sweater and blanket even in the summertime, and this thing has me waving the white flag.

I am so excited about my weighted blanket. When I sleep, it's always been about the weight with me. I didn't understand it in the past, but now that the weighted blankets have surfaced, I completely understand. I love this weighted blanket, and it is so soft. Thank you Comfy dream for making an awesome weighted blanket.P.S. My son loved it so much that he took mine, so I had to buy myself another one.

I gave this to my husband for his Birthday. I bought the 20 lb. Which was too heavy for him so I decided to try it for myself. I love it but I'm a tall slim person and 20 lbs is too heavy. I feel like I have worked out all night which is not a bad thing. The first week I experienced shin splits but they have actually gotten a lot better. This is brilliant, my body works out all night and I don't have to work out. What could be better? I do think I am going to return it for a 15 pounder though. I waited to write a review only after I had experienced it. I sleep very soundly and I look forward to sleep time. I have even turned the TV off just too sleep, it's that good. If you know anything about a person who never turns the TV off that's a biggy. I feel increased energy every morning something I totally didn't expect. I'm a happy camper.
