Good firm control, just don't drink a lot of water

The control is nice and firm, and the quality is good. However, there is no crotch opening in the one I received (reading through the reviews, some say there is an opening, some say there isn't, so that's quite confusing.) It's definitely a pain to get on and off when you need to pee (unzip, unhook, wrassle, pee, hook, zip ... argh) but other than that, it's a solid unit. Fit for purpose. Just commit to remaining dehydrated and you'll be fine.

I gained a bit of weight but I dont want to buy new clothes so I bought this despite the mixed reviews. It worked great and it goes below the knees so no tell tale creases on your thigh for every one ro know your secret, it has hooks which allow it to zip up gradually and that was a big plus. Will buy more products from this brand.
Too long in torso and no tummy control!
Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2018
I'm 5'7" 260 lbs. According to sizing chart even the 3XL wouldn't have fit, but I didn't find the sizing chart until after I purchased It, so I bought a 2XL. It was a bit of a struggle, but it does fit. Definitely start at the bottom and work it up from there rather than trying to pull it all the way on holding the top of the garment. (Think pulling on a tight pair of panty hose - pull it up over the ankles, then the knees, etc.)PROS: Once on - I like that it is knee length so it can't roll up my thighs, it doesn't have an awkward visible line mid thigh, and it will protect me from chub-rub. It gave a nice smoothing effect over the whole thigh, butt, hip area. I wouldn't say there was any actual butt lifting action provided, but maybe you need a smaller butt to get that benefit.CONS: I don't think I have a super short torso, but this thing was. way long in the torso area. I will have to fold it down in order to get it to fit under my boobs. One of the hooks snapped off before I even touched it, it dropped to the floor as I was hooking the hook below it, so it must have just been hanging by a thread. Also - despite all the hooks and the zipper, it provides absolutely no tummy or waist control, so plan on sucking in your belly, if you have one. (That was never my biggest problem area in the past, but now after baby #2 a lot of my weight seems to have shifted to that area.) Like seriously, my yoga pants have better tummy control than this thing. And, as other reviewers have noted, don't plan on peeingwhile you're wearing it.Overall - if it had cost me $70 I would give it two stars, but $30 isn't bad, and I will probably wear it occasionally (though not as often. as I would have liked,) so 3 stars, and feeling generous.
Used as secondary garment after lipo

I used this after lipo and mini tummy tuck yo assist with normal swelling. Itâs comfortable and did the trick. As for going to the bathroom itâs a pain, but cheap enough that I made a hole so I donât have to disrobe completely!
Lumpy, loud, no pee hole, and too long in the torso...
Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2018
The zipper area was really obvious and lumpy. It was definitely the right size, so not sure what caused it...maybe I got a defective one. No way to hide it under clothes. Also, like other reviewers stated, it's very long in the torso. I have a very long torso so I was thinking it would be perfect on me, but it still went all the way to my boobs. Another con was the sound. It was extremely loud while walking, and I'm sure most ladies who get this have thick thighs like me. It's going straight back.
VaVaVoom!
Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2017
I've bought several shapewear products and has to return them because there was no shaping when I wore them. I opened my Laty Rose product and thought "the others were too big and now this is too small" but I tried... and it was perfect. The heavens opened up and the angels sang. It accentuated my rear, flattened my tummy, and accentuated my waist line. I tried it with a slinky tight white maxi dress and virtually undetectable. The Capri length avoided that muffin thigh look that is achieved with the shapers that stop at the thigh. My love handles disappeared and did not give me an unnatural back jump. I stated that it was virtually undetectable because the dress was thin and slinky the base of the zipper was evident to me when I looked down. However my brutally honest friend said that it was in my head. I will definitely by it again. With Laty Rose I instantly had a VaVaVoom body. I will definitely seek out and buy their products again.

Another one I really wanted. The thigh area fit me comfortably with nice hold (I have really large thighs) unfortunately the waist was too long. It came up over my breast. Folding it unfortunately would show through my clothes. I'd order again in smaller size but then the thigh area won't fit and waist may still be too long for my torso. They seemed to be good quality.
hard to get on & slightly uncomfortable
Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2020
I'm 5'9" 210 lbs., 39" waist, 49" hips so I usually wear 2XL and that's what the sizing chart said I should get. They have a QR code to a video that shows you how to put on the garment...it's not easy. One place it recommends you have help. The video shows a variety of positions to lay or lean so you can hook all the eyes and then zip. It took me about 10 minutes to get into the garment. Mind you, I did get into it, which is more success than I've had with all the other bodyshapers. It provides really good compression, which is what I needed. It also really is high-waisted, and I'm even long-waisted and it fit. The legs are really capri length. So it delivers all it promises. The real issue is getting into it and being comfortable in it. The zipper front was bumpy and wavy, not smooth. All this might not be the case for you if it fits you well and you have time to get into it or get into it faster than I did. Once I was in it, it was kind of scratchy; my skin is still healing from surgery, so it is sensitive. I also could hear a swooshing sound as I walked! I don't know why. There is no open crotch, so you have to either pull down and up to use the restroom or, if the fit is too tight, you have to unzip and unhook and start the 5-10 minute process of pouring yourself into the garment again. I'm going to see if I can find another garment under $100 that is easier to get on, smooth in the front, and just as good of compression.
