I used this to cover to update my color scheme. I love the soft gray and it is a soft cotton fabric. I use it with my old Kohlâs brand comforter and not a down or alternative filler. Exceeded my expectations.
Gray will pull different tones, thatâs just how gray works... BUT

I absolutely love this set! Itâs soft and lightweight which is perfect for Arizona when paired with a lightweight insert. I bought this for my teenage sons bedroom re-model and it is perfect. As far as sizing, I made a mistake and bought a full-size instead of a queen ( again MY mistake), but it still works out and if I had bought the queen it would have fit perfect! It will still work out great because I bought some awesome sheets that I donât mind showing through a little bit and I will also have the boxspring covered as well so you donât see it. So the size appears to be true to what standard American sizes are for beds. Now, for the color issue that people seem to be having with the gray buffalo check... It is gray, and gray wall either pull from the red and purple family or from the blue and green family, thatâs just how gray works. However your lighting is also going to play a factor in how this gray looks in your room, as well as the other colors that are in the room, especially the color on your walls. This comforter will have a mauvie or purple tone to it under warmer light. It will be a true gray in natural light, i.e. windows are open in the sun is shining in. I am attaching a picture of the whole bed set on my sons bed as well as close-ups and you can see it up against the gray sheets that I bought to accompany it, it is a true gray and an appropriate white for the pattern. when you put this bed set up against a khaki or brown colored sheet or wall it is going to pull the red tones from those walls or sheets and produce the purple color that a lot of people are seeing. Iâm not sure of a way to resolve this issue outside of putting very natural lightbulbs in your light fixtures and painting your walls a gray color or a white color or even black. In my sons room the top of his walls are gray and the bottom is a dark brown almost black wainscoting so it works well with what I have going on. But I love the set so much I wanted to set the record straight because I think that grays can be a very difficult color in a bedroom when there are other colors going on, but this bedding is absolutely true to color, at least the gray buffalo check is. There were also some other complaints of the pillowcases being too small, I did not have that issue, I can see if you have a really fluffy fat pillow it might be a tight squeeze but as far as the dimensions as you can see my queen pillows fit just fine in the pillowcases. They are really full pillows which I like, but Iâve had Asian made bedding where the pillowcases are absolutely too small for a standard pillowcase and itâs frustrating- This is not the case with this bedding set. The ties are super convenient to put a down or alternative comforter inside of it, and as a sidenote for anyone who hasnât used duvets with down comforters, I would highly suggest you get on YouTube and search videos on how to insert a down comforter into a duvet because there is absolutely is an easier way to do it that isnât as time-consuming as stuffing a duvet with a comforter and then shaking it out trying to get it to fill in the corners, but itâs nothing I can explain here. Iâm usually not a leave a review type of person, I make my purchase and move on with my life ... but I love this set so much and I wanted to clear the air on some of the negative reviews, Iâm not sure what went wrong with the bedding set that other people have purchased or what the certain circumstance is for their complaints and Iâm definitely not discounting that, but in my case for the set I received after purchase those things just arenât an issue for me. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody, it is an amazing value for the money And I will more than likely be buying more of these for my home.

I realllllllllllly wanted to love this duvet. Price is great, colors are perfect! I bought 2 sets of full size for my sons new bunk bed that I just finished building. I bought them for Christmas and if I wouldâve had more time, I wouldâve returned them... but I didnât have time to do that. First, and the most annoying part, the pillow cases are sooo small!! They do not fit a standard pillow, they are about 6â too short so they are completely useless. Second, both duvets have these weird runs in them in the white and black boxes. They came out of the package that way. Color, fabric are great. The fine details, not so much. Kinda bummed.Edited: itâs been 7 months, and although the pillow cases are too small â its held up pretty good and handles the wash well.

Received this quickly and it's everything I hoped it would be; fabric is comfortable and the print is perfect. I washed it in cold water and dried it on low before putting it on my comforter and pillows; came out great with little to no shrinkage. The fabric does wrinkle (100% cotton, doncha know) but taking it out while still slightly damp and putting on the comforter/pillows helps with that. My reason for the four stars instead of five is that the ties inside the duvet which attach to the comforter are very cheap and short; I'm sure I'll be replacing them with something more durable soon. Otherwise, I highly recommend this duvet cover...it is just what I wanted for my bedroom to add a little black and white pattern to the mix! Thank you for a great product that would cost much more from Pottery Barn, etc.

Was looking for a new duvet cover as Iâm in the midst of updating my bedroom. (Shiplap wall is next) I read the reviews and for the price I figured I had nothing to lose.Came in three days. No funky smell to it, but did wash first before putting on my bed. Zipper is convienant and appears durable. The colour of grey can kind of take on a light purple or blue depending on lighting or what it is paired with. Cat hair resistant (which was the main reason I wanted a new duvet cover) It is lightweight and very comfortable. I have a comforter in it currently as my hubby gets to hot with our wonderful duvet. A little seethrough however itâs an old green comfortable and once again depending on light or angle you can see the design of the comforter. Fits my queen bed just perfect. Would absolutely recommend.
The white looks like yellow.

I wish the pictures would have shown that the white looks like a light yellow. I would have preferred a white and gray duvet. It clashes with my white sheets. The fabric is nice and I like the idea of the duvet, I just wish the picture wouldnât have been deceiving.

The material is a bit thin (yet has handled cat claws very well!), and it's not the softest duvet out there, but I do feel with a couple washes that it will certainly soften up. I'm unfamiliar with 100% cotton duvets but I have a feeling this is actually quite normal (in comparison to super soft microfiber). Overall, absolutely worth the price. Will be buying from this company again!

Looks good feels good but is horribly wrinkly I put it on straight out of the dryer and itâs definitely something that needs to be ironed if you want perfect.

I just love this. It is exactly what I was looking for. Living in the north our summer nights can still be chilly. The cotton says summer while the puff provides warmth. I actually live in a farmhouse so the black and white buffalo check is perfect! I LOVE the zipper closure, no which material from the down puff coming out through buttons. And I always love the tie ins at the corners to keep things in place. Itâs perfect every morning when I make the bed. I highly recommend as a lightweight duvet. Also, this is an unsolicited review. If I didnât like it I would surely be telling you all. Oh and it washes and dries beautifully did not need to iron.

This duvet certainly looks more expensive than it was, other high end stores sell something very similar for triple the price. It is not as soft as I had hoped, maybe after more washings it will feel better. It is also a bit thinner than I expected but that is what happens when you buy linen online. I thought the pillow cases were too short, a bit of pillow hangs out. I was upset about that. (I ordered a second duvet, a different brand for a different bedroom and noticed that those pillowcases had extra fabric on the inside of pillowcases that you tuck the pillow into and it folds over, essentially tucking the pillow inside.) I then looked at these pillowcases and it had the same thing so I am happy I discovered that. Overall it looks very nice, but 4 stars for the material not feeling soft and a tad thicker. (also as previous poster explained, the "white" checks on the duvet aren't bright white, they are more gray which I actually like).

True, Iâve only washed it once so I canât comment on longevity. But based on appearance & feel itâs perfect, exactly what I wanted, & looks just like the photos.Made of a slightly rough cotton (but already softer after the one wash), itâs sturdier than a similar but flimsy Ikea product, which simply didnât hold up to my catâs claws &/or multiple washing.Arrived w/in 48 hours

Quality made (cotton, zippered opening, duvet 'tie's in all 4 corners). The item received was exactly as described. Knowing that I would not be able to use the included 2 'standard' size pillow cases (I have Queen size pillows), I ordered the set anyways because of the features of the duvet cover. I searched Wake In Cloud for Queen sized pillow cases in the same pattern to no avail. So the question is... why are Queen size pillow cases not the 'standard' for a Queen duvet cover set?

I love this duvet. We have a king size blanket so I got the king size and it is a bit big. I wonder if the Queen would have fit more snug? The ties in the corner help a lot. Most people are right that itâs a big rough in feeling, but itâs more like a linen fabric feel. Still comfortable to sleep in. I did wash mine right away like most suggested and that helped. It was very wrinkly after so I steamed it once the bed was made. Over all GREAT value for price and vibrant in colour, the black and white isnât very see through as our blanket underneath is charcoal grey, very dark and it doesnât show. Would recommend!

I expected more from this duvet cover. It looks okay, but the fabric is very thin, and not even close to as soft as I was expecting. It is also an odd size...I ordered a King size, and it is too big for all 3 of our King Duvets, so it looks quite sloppy on the edges. Since washing it once now, I have found that it is also extremely prone to wrinkles.Not really worth the price in my opinion.

I got it before Christmas and wanted to wait till I've washed the cover a few times before writing a review , well this duvet cover is awesome help up well after 3 washes still soft didn't shrink nor pill definitely would buy another one

The quality of this product was not nearly as good as I expected. Itâs obvious thatâs its made with cheap material. The material was all wrinkled and even when I washed and dryed it, it didnât straighten out. Itâs low quality. Disappointed in this purchase.

I really like this set, the color and pattern is nice, the zipper on the bottom is decent quality. Ties on the inside to tie the corners in. I will note though this is not soft, it's definately a more hoarse fabric. I am guessing this will be more cool and breathable in the summer though than the softer cottons.

C'était inscrit 66.95 et au total cela ma coûté 100$ environ. Je suis déçu car le matériel accumule facilement les poils d'animaux. Et on dis douillette dans la description et non housse de couette. Cela ma déçu vraiment car rien de ça na été précisé. Surtout pour les frais sérieusement je suis abonné a prime je n'avais pas de surplus a payer

Love the cotton fabric. Duvet fits my queen bed nicely but the shams are actually pillowcases & too short even for standard size pillows. Very disappointing.
