I waited to write a review until I slept with it for a few nights, and I'm glad I did. At first, I didn't really like it, and I think it was because it was unfamiliar to me, but after a few nights I've fallen in love with it. I love my weighted blanket and it gives me reassurance, comfort, and security. I can't imagine sleeping without it. For me, it's an emotional security with the blanket. Idk why, but thats just how I feel. Growing up, I was emotionally and physically abused, and now I'm in my early 20s and struggling. I'm happy I bought this weighted blanket because after a long day of battling my demons and holding on to life, I come home to crawl under it and I feel a little bit better. And it may not be everything I need, but right now, its enough.
Nobody wants this blanket, and I hate that it was ever made.

The existence of this product is downright obscene.When was the last time you thought about what sound a blanket makes? Iâll tell you, with this blanket thatâs all youâll ever think about. Itâs made with thousands of ball bearings that pour around inside its baffles. Itâs inconceivable how long they can pour (and how loudly!) from the slightest movement before coming to a rest, so you can rest. Just donât breathe.The noise is ludicrous: just pulling this out of its package was like unloading a dump truck full of marbles on a dry riverbed of broken stones. Itâs the same largeness of noise as a thousand Krakatoaâs erupting in a potato chip bag the size of the moon.It takes a lot for me to bother leaving a review, but the sheer gall of a blanket -a blanket for sleeping- that you nearly have to yell over just tucking yourself in... Iâm obviously returning this. But I want you to know that this is a complete waste of your money, time, and how personally offended I am that the manufacturers would even consider that a human person could possibly accept such an awful blanket. Itâs like a chair made from raw spaghetti noodles. Completely hostile against its only purpose.MULTIPLE PEOPLE SIGNED OFF ON THIS.

I like the weight. I did not like that I had to buy cover separately (more $) and I do not like the shifting glass beads. However, when they say 25lbs, they mean it! You have to struggle to move it. I like that it fits my son's queen bed, as he is a really big guy and it works for him. He isn't verbal, so I don't know if it works. Seems to stay longer in bed in the morning. However, I bought a different brand for me and I can't say I notice a difference in my sleep?? My son has autism and I have had him go and lay under it if he's having a bad day, hoping the weight helps him feel better. Jury is still out on it, as to whether it works??? The one I bought for me in a queen size in another brand, not this one, was too small, this one is better size wise. It is a chance thing, if you want to try, just know the beads shift and you have to fluff to spread them out better. It is a hit and miss to find a decent blanket.Update, I returned the blanket as it was hard to get the blanket to spread out evenly. I also noticed I could feel the beads inside of the material which was thin and I don't think would have lasted long with the beads wearing through the material.

I just got this blanket today. I pulled it out and laid it over me and instantly felt relaxed and like I could fall asleep any second. I got the 22lb blanket and I will tell you it is heavy to pick up but it does not feel like a heavy weight is sitting on you. Once unfolded, the weight is well dispersed and it just feels heavenly. It appears to have very good construction with no leaks. The material is a nice weight, soft cotton. The blanket breathes nicely and didnât seem to trap heat and get me overheated. I will be purchasing the duvet this week as well because this is definitely something you wouldnât want to wreck your washer with.After looking around at others, I feel this blanket is a very good value comparatively.I donât know how this magic works but it does! I canât wait to sleep with it tonight!
Recommend for insomniacs who have tried everything else

I love this. I have moved to the couch to use it because my husband doesnât like it so I think itâs all about personal preference. I sleep through the night with it and have had chronic insomnia... I did notice a few pellets escaping here and there as I saw in other reviews, but It hasnât really caused any problems. For me to be able to sleep through the night with no issues is something I havenât experienced in 20 years so I canât say a bad word about this product

As a person who has suffered from insomnia for all of my adult life, I am completely blown away at how this has changed my sleep. I have no idea how this compares to the well-advertised, super expensive âGravityâ blanket, but this one is awesome. Seams feel strong, the weight is well-distributed, the fabric seems durable, and it is the perfect one person size. I purchased the cotton (not Minky) duvet cover and the two work perfectly together. I am shocked that I donât get hot under it, but I attribute it to the cotton duvet cover as well as the fact that I bought the 2018 version (advertised as having more glass beads and less fiber fill). I will say that at first, I wondered if it was too much weight (17 pound), but after a night of amazing sleep, I realized it was perfect. One of my best purchases ever.

I ordered the 25-pound blanket, and when I received my order I weighed it and the advertised weight was correct. The glass beads are actually quite small, I would describe them as similar in size to very coarse sugar. The blanket as a whole was much less noisy than I had expected. I'm using this product in late summer/early fall and I have no issues with overheating or getting too hot during the night. Not sure about peak summer conditions. I personally feel like this blanket helped me stay asleep throughout the night. I am a very light sleeper and it is not uncommon for me to wake up throughout the night. However, I just received the blanket and I'll have to spend more time with it to really see how it affects me.

I suffer from anxiety and have trouble falling asleep and staying asleep at night. I did a lot of research to find a weighted blanket that had good weight distribution as well as quality. Since receiving my blanket, I have been using my blanket on the couch and it makes me feel so relaxed as well as in bed and I have been waking up feeling for rested than ever before!My sister and son already want one for themselves!

This blanket is exactly what they claim. It is the only one I could find in an affordable price range that comes with the cover. The company puts the blanket together for you so if you are like me and wash before use you can see how it goes together.I no longer need 6 blankets on my bed which, in my opinion is a huge win.

J'adore cette couverture, je ne m'en passerais plus! Le poids est reparti de manière égale dans chaque petite poche avec de la bourrure. J'ai ajouté une housse dessus pour la protéger et la garder propre, mais le tissus de la couverture était vraiment confortable. Le prix est très abordable pour la qualité. Je la recommande fortement, elle n'est pas trop chaude (on est en été alors les couvertures ne doivent pas être trop chaude) et le poids est idéal selon moi (15lbs couverture et 105lbs moi). Avant j'utilisais plusieurs couvertures ainsi que des oreillers pour faire du poids sur moi et c'était compliqué être confortable quand je dormais ailleurs, maintenant c'est super simple, j'ai seulement besoin de cette couverture et de mon oreiller!

Can't say enough about this blanket. I would highly recommend it as great tool for managing stress. Obviously it's not a cure, but the difference I feel when I'm using it is remarkable.

The weight of this blanket is not evenly distributed. I feel the weight shifts to the sides which doesn't give you the feeling you want from a weighted blanket. However, I do love the cover. It's very soft and comforting.

This is not a king-size blanket, first off.It's 'king-size' in terms of weighted blankets, which for some reason are never true to size? So if you want to put a duvet cover on it, keep in mind it's actually queen measurements. Knowing this ahead of time, I ordered this king-size because I actually needed a queen. Complicated? Yeah.Okay, still with me? Now for the weight problem. It's a simple physics issue - weight spread over a greater surface area means less pressure per square inch. So with a blanket this size, the 'feel' is much closer to having a 3-5lb blanket on you. IE, useless. Manufacturers should keep this in mind, and offer this size blanket in much greater weights, proportionately.I didn't bother trying this for one night, as soon as I laid under it for the first time to test it out, I knew it was a waste of my time and money.It's still a good quality blanket and one of the cheapest ones for sale given the size, but I'd only recommend this if you actually need a 5lb blanket, or plan to sleep with this doubled up over your body.

This was our second weighted blanket ordered from Amazon and this one is no where near as good as the first. This one was a gift for a family member. The blanket seems to be made of very poor quality materials. The outer fabric is very loud and stiff and noT soft to the touch whatsoever. The blanket fill that is mixed with the glass beads is not plush. It feels like rough scrubby sponge. The pockets in which the beads are sewn are almost 6x6 inches so the weight is not distributed well overall. It was a decent price but, the quality is awful. It does the job but, we have seen better form another selling on Amazon.

I did a fair bit of research for a weighted blanket. Iâm quite happy with my purchase. It is nice and big for 1 person. I donât really think weighted blankets are really meant to be shared anyway. You canât feel the glass beads in it you just know they are there. I am pleased with the quality. I chose the cotton b/c I donât like to be hot when I sleep. I feel itâs warm but Iâm not sweating in the night.

Super comfortable! Perfectly weighted and exactly was a looking for. Iâve slept with it for two nights already - both have been the best sleep ever. The only reason why I havenât given four stars is because the 60 x 80 is labeled âfull/queenâ.. it doesnât cover my queen bed at all. So I recommend getting the king size for a queen bed. My spouse didnât need this blanket, so its my own personal comforter now! Amazing blanket, worth the price, just order bigger for a queen size or if you plan on sharing with another person!

This blanket is perfect for my 110 pound 5â2â teenage daughter. Sheâs very petite and not tall and it fits her perfectly. At first she thought she should have ordered a heavier blanket but after a few nightâs sleeps she now realizes she got the right weight for her. She says her sleeps have definitely been better since using this blanket. Great quality, seams are well sewn and great that it doesnât contain plastic.

I'm really happy with my purchase. I have definitely slept better since I started using it. I have anxiety which causes insomnia and I'm happy I decided to try this. I was hesitant because its expensive for a blanket but it was the best value I could find and I would buy it again. It's not going to solve your anxiety issues but at least it helps with sleep which makes you feel better the next day. Recommended for sure!

I donât know how else to send feedback. I ordered the 60x80 but I think I was sent a smaller one. I have a full/double size bed and this barely covers it.Otherwise, it seems like a great blanket. I just received it so I canât speak much about function, but itâs good quality.I would appreciate the price adjusted for the size, since itâs too much hassle to send back for an exchange.

I was becoming very anxious when it was time for bed. I often slept with three blankets on top to feel a bit better but nothing compares to this blanket. So soft and right on the first night, I slept so well. Its my all time favourite! Bought one for my son to help with his separation anxiety at night.
