great slip but order a size down

I wear a lot of maxi dresses that seem to be pretty see through. I looked and looked for a slip all over but they seem to be pretty hard to come by. At least a longer one like this one. I finally looked on amazon (why I didn't do that to begin with I don't know) and found this one. I ordered it right away. right off the bat, I can say I was impressed with the material. The slip really did it's job and didn't allow for anything to show through any of the dresses. I am 5'9" and 155 lbs and this slip was a bit to big on me. It seems to slip down as the day goes on and I have to go to the bathroom to pull it up. That is why I gave the slip only 4 stars. I think if I would have ordered a size smaller (Small) it would have fit a little bit better and I wouldn't have had that issue. Other than that the slip is wonderful! The quality is great and I think it will really hold up.

True to size - great buy - what I really liked was that it gives you the option to remove the lace from the bottom if it fits to long - each lace layer measures around 2-1/2".I'm 5-1" so it was too long... but I simply removed the two extra layers of laces and it fit perfect. Trust me it does not take a rocket scientist to remove the lace - highly recommend -

Fits well. Quality is good. Allows you the option to shorten it if you need to; there are 3 lace layers that can be safely cut. I am a size 6; ordered a medium; gives me a nice loose fit. If you like a tighter fit, you could comfortably go smaller. Hits me about mid calf; I'm about 5'4". Will not be shortening it because I plan to wear it with maxis. Ordered white and it's a very nice, clean , optic white. I have to say something about the packaging. It came packaged as a very expensive item. It was nicely pinned (like they do with men's shirts, with the large plastic clips) onto a white cardboard and slipped into a plastic bag, and then into an outer plastic bag. I was impressed by the packaging, especially for a product that didn't cost too much.

Great length. Especially in a generation of no slips and to buy a slip in the store these days is impossible, they're made for mini skirts. This comes at or just below my knee and I'm 5'4. Bought both black and white. Just what I needed. Only thing I could say that is only slightly noticeable is the rough feel to the lace. But after several washes it's not noticeable.

I really like this slip & I'm happy with my purchase. I'm very short (5'0") & it's perfect for my long dresses. The item came on time & was well packaged. Washes nicely & came out of dryer looking new. Would definitely recommend to others!

This slip fits me too snugly - and I am not crazy about the material. Maybe I misunderstood the description, but I prefer a softer, silky type of slip.

I ordered 1X because XL not available. As of today 6/10/18 still not available. Slip is on loose side. But I can take it in & make it XL. Material of slip could have been thicker but its ok. Some of this slips of now are so thin. I am 63 yrs old and very old school. So I have always wore slips. I gave 3 stars becuz I have to alter waist. Slip is 28 inches long. Perfect for the skirts I purchased for. I don't plan on shortening. However if need be all I have to do is snip-it.

I am 5'3 and 135. I ordered a medium and fits great. It is very light and I cant feel that Im wearing a slip throughout the day.
