Polyester is not cotton

The ad on Amazon says 100% cotton. The tag in the garment says 100% polyester. I had planned to dye it, so this wonât work, plus it is an incorrect description. The bottom lacy part may be cotton, Iâm not sure. It looks more like cotton than the upper part.

I recently realized some of the dresses Iâd been wearing over jeans this winter would be perfect for summer too...if they were 4 inches longer. I was worried about using a skirt extender since theyâre flared, but this one is absolutely perfect! It gives them the needed length without looking like Iâve got my slip showing. The smidgeon of poof provided it also lovely.

So relieved to find this half slip. I bought the size small even though I'm a normally a 10-12 because I didn't want it too bulky at the waist, and it fit perfectly. It's light weight cotton, comfortable for warm weather and also very pretty which is a bonus. Best of all it doesn't wrap around my thighs, bunch and ride up..I'm so pleased with it overall! It's soft and wide enough that it fits even my wide hips, not scratchy or too heavy. I wanted a slip to wear under see through unlined dresses that gave it some shape but not too much pouff. Did i already say -This is perfect. I'm getting more in all the sizes

The elastic is a little tighter than I'd like, but I'm sure it will stretch with time. For reference, I'm a 33" waist.I've used this as a petticoat with my recreated 1850's pioneer dress and to lengthen my true vintage Edwardian lawn dress, because people were much shorter back in 1910. It works perfectly with both.Nice fabric, not cheap or flimsy. I've washed it twice (line dried) and it came out beautifully.Honestly the only thing that could make this slip better is if it had a fitted waist rather than elastic, which most people probably wouldn't want anyway.

I did NOT expect the quality of the fabric to be so nice. It's a different design (lace part), as compared to the previous slip, which was a smaller size...that went to my daughter. I love them both.I'd definitely recommend this product and seller!!

The material of this lovely slip is a good quality 100% COTTON. It fits perfectly well for my chosen size. The length is absolutely great, perfect for my flowing thin summer dresses. The price is generous for the quality. I am delighted I wasn't tempted to buy cheaper. I may treat myself to another, but a different length because I am so very pleased. Therefore, I have no problem in recommending to others.

I am so happy with this slip! I purchased the 28-inch length (which ended up being a tad shorter than that), and it was the perfect length for the style of skirt I love to wear! The fuller portion of the slip began above my knees (Which could vary according to your height,) so it is perfect to wear while playing the cello, or while being active and elegant! :D It does add a little fullness to the skirt, but it is not terribly noticeable. Whether that is a good thing or not, you can decide! For me it depends on the outfit.Cotton slips DO NOT STICK to static-filled fabrics, and they are great at keeping a skirt from clinging to you. They can, though, stick a bit to cotton fabrics. So, if you`re wearing a cotton-like fabric, then you may need to be a little more deliberate about making sure the slip is laying smoothly.
It is uncomfortable

But the overall design is visually appealing but the fabric and the stitching is uncomfortable. I suppose the least desirable section of it is where the detail attaches to the rest of the skirt. It not only is uncomfortable and cumbersome when walking, the fabric at the bottom does not seem to be the same material as the rest of the skirt.

Bought this to go under a long dress to prevent clinging, it is just right gives a bit of body to the skirt and just what I wanted. Plenty of give in the waist so it didn't matter that I ate too much! I am only 5 foot so it came to my ankles which was just right.
